Amazing service in all senses. The food is amazing there. Do try if you visit salem. Highly recommended. The room-service and in-room dining is a hasslefree thing and we can just relax without any tension.

The Taj Cormandel was a fantastic hotel and stay for us on our recent trip to Chennai. We were made welcome from the minute we stepped out of the cab. All staff are very helpful and friendly but Amit from the Chipstead deserves a special mention for his outstanding customer service and welcoming manner.
Rooms were large and very comfortable. Housekeeping and services were top notch, plentiful large towels and hot water, plus some housekeeping surprises we enjoyed on our stay.
Breakfasts were buffet style with lots of choice and culinary types, service was very well organised and any special breakfast requests delivered to your table.
Choice of restaurants for having dinner and a lounge for drinks and cocktails.
Swimming pool with outside loungers and fitness room are on the lower ground area of the hotel. Towels provided.
Would recommend a stay here.

I have been staying in this hotel every time I visit Chennai! The location so ideal that you could just walk, take an auto or drive to pondy bazaar & T Nagar!

Il peggiore servizio di servizio frontale della mia vita di viaggio di lavoro negli ultimi 25 anni, il personale lavora da solo e dice di aspettare dopo che sono stato davanti al conto 3 minuti, poi se n'è andato senza salutare o riferire ad altri agenti. Pertanto, sorpreso di sapere che è il responsabile delle vendite dopo aver detto ai dipendenti di noi i nostri sentimenti.
La colazione è eccellente e il personale è sempre gentile.
La pulizia deve migliorare quanto più capelli nel bagno e nelle tinture d'acqua.

YYsan31Ibis is really a nice place to stay. The location is in the city center where you have all easy access to wherever you want to go. The transportation system in the area is very friendly. You can get a toktok motorcycle to bring you anywhere you want to sight seeing.

VVijayakumar G AFirstly, I was given a room in an extension block that seemed to have been built recently. It was modern but lacked the charm and character of a true heritage property. The main building, with its fireplace and historic ambience, was nowhere to be found. This was especially disappointing considering the premium price I paid, comparable to what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel.
The lack of attention to detail continued throughout my stay. When I checked in on a rainy day, I had to walk to the extension block without an umbrella despite the muddy road. The staff seemed unbothered by this inconvenience. Additionally, the room didn't have slippers, and the floor was cold, with no heating available (although they did provide a basic room heater when requested).
To make matters worse, I had to call the front desk to confirm my room for the second day, which should have been done automatically as part of their standard procedure. This lack of efficiency only added to my frustration.
The toiletries were also woefully inadequate, with only basic soap and shampoo provided. Power cuts were frequent, and I had to notify the front desk each time, which seemed like a hassle the hotel should have anticipated.
The breakfast buffet was uninspiring and lacked flavour. To make matters worse, I had dinner at their restaurant, which was rated top in Ooty, but my experience was average at best. To add insult to injury, they got our order wrong, substituting Nasi Goreng (fried rice) with Mee Goreng (fried noodles). When I brought this to their attention, they made no effort to compensate for the mistake.
In conclusion, Hotel King's Cliff fails to live up to its reputation as a heritage property or even a 2-star hotel. The overpricing and lack of attention to detail make it a poor choice for travellers seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Ooty.

WwannaL'hotel sembra bellissimo e sulla superficie sembra un hotel di alta qualità. Ma il servizio era seriamente shambolico. Non fornivano asciugamani nella stanza, dovevamo chiederli più volte prima che finalmente si presentassero. Il colazione era strano - nessuno ha mantenuto la stazione di caffè ma non ti è stato permesso di servirti (solo una macchina a pulsante), nessun tè o caffè decaffeinato. Ci sono voluti anni per ricevere il cibo della stazione d'amore, anche se la sala colazione non era nemmeno piena come siamo stati molto presto. Si sono impegnati a prenotare un taxi, ma non avevano alcun record, quindi hanno cercato di convincerci a usare il veicolo di charter dell'hotel per 4 volte il prezzo!

MMir69Staff at the reception are nice and friendly, crews and bellboys helps with your stuff. However, got harassed by one staff at the bar. We were being forced to leave where we are seated to a sofa near the bar and embarrassed my friends while we are waiting for the coffee we ordered at the bar. Tirelessly, even to the point of heated argument he never stopped until I made myself clear that I am going to report him. I had been a guest for this hotel since 2019 and unfortunately treated like this. This staff must be removed for inappropriate action.

AArivurajBerry Resort Hill Ooty Review: A 3-Day Paradiso
Ho passato recentemente tre giorni inoltrabili a Berry Resort Hill Ooty, e ha vissuto davvero fino alla spirale, senza dubbio uno dei migliori resort della regione, offrendo una vista incredibile che supera qualunque altro che abbia incontrato a Ooty. Sul monte, il paesaggio è semplicemente smerigliato.
Il resort stesso è ben mantenuto e esulta un ambiente tranquillo. Le camere sono confortevoli e ben attrezzate, offrendo un perfetto ritorno dopo un giorno di esplorazione.
Uno dei miei spettacoli era il delizioso cibo, ogni pasto era un piacere culinario, mostrando una meravigliosa miscela di sapori locali.
Il personale, in particolare il signor Predeep, al ricevimento, era incredibilmente amichevole e utile, e la loro calda ospitezza mi fece sentire molto benvenuto.

AAndy_CNUKI chose Ra***a Towers primarily because of the location and its website. The location was excellent for me, just a few minutes walk from the entrance of Sri Ra***a Ashram which was literally at the end of the street. (I discovered a nearby cafe/restaurant called 'The Dreaming Tree' which is one of the main places for meeting Westerners and which is also just a few minutes walk away plus Ganga Ma's place is also close by for Satsangs). The staff were always friendly, approachable and helpful (and arranged a taxi for me in advance from Chennai airport direct to Ra***a Towers). The attached restaurant served traditional local food which was fine although I preferred to buy my own cereals and fruit for breakfast which I prepared in the kitchen area of my room. My room was fine and everything worked, including the hot water. At night, monkeys would sleep against my bathroom window and on my balcony! Another feature of this hotel I liked was the rooftop terrace which had great views of *********a. The website was a little misleading about the meditation halls though, when I was there the meditation halls appeared to be being used as dormitories. And the library was out of use while I was there too due to building work. Overall though, I was happy with my stay here: the place was clean and secure, and seemed relatively high-end compared to ***y other places in Tiruvannamalai.

Mi è stata assegnata una camera con letto matrimoniale e mi è stata negata la colazione finché non ho mostrato la conferma di prenotazione di Trip. La camera era comunicante, non c'era un tavolo da studio e si sentiva persino un sussurro. La notte del 17, qualcuno russava a crepapelle, tanto che non riuscivamo a dormire bene, il che mi ha spinto a cambiare camera. Mi hanno assegnato la camera numero 314, che era anch'essa con letto matrimoniale. Dopo aver chiesto informazioni, il personale dell'hotel Benison mi ha detto che tutte le loro camere hanno solo letto matrimoniale. Ritengo che Trip.com mi abbia ingannato con informazioni false. Ho intenzione di presentare un reclamo al tribunale dei consumatori per ottenere un risarcimento. Ma non lo farò.

I've traveled to various hotels around the world in my life, and I was very impressed with the ITS Grand Chola. This was my second time staying here, and I plan to come again.
