It's a wonderful place, a preserved building that is very clean, at a very central location in Middlebury. The price was excellent, and the parking was very convenient. We couldn't get the wi-fi to work which was a pain given that only Verizon works here, and we didn't have hotspots. Very friendly staff, both the female receptionist during checkout and the gentleman during checkin, with his excellent recommendations. But: Be careful with rooms 126-129, they need a good flight of stairs, which was difficult for us, as we were coming from a big road-trip and had many bags. Perhaps the reception should make this clear during the check-in process, we would be very happy to change rooms, but it was too late. Soundproofing is not the best, but I am not complaining as the building is preserved and they can't do much. Finally, a small complaint is that there is no desk to do some work in the room, forcing us to go to cafes.   All in all, I honestly think this hotel is terrific if you are visiting Middlebury and I would 100% recommend it for a ski trip or a tour of the college.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in. The location is great and convenient, rooms are clean spacious and nicely deco. Most impressive, the staff are very friendly and helpful. My children and I stayed at AC mid December. We are so thankful and grateful for their help when our bus back to Boston did not turn up after a 2-3hr wait at the bus stop and it was -11degC in the evening. We had to wait for another 7hr for the next available bus. We needed a warm place to wait in and we decided to head back to AC hotel, hoping to wait at the lobby. The young lady at the reception was sympathetic and kindly suggested we rest at the lounge and make ourselves comfortable. the staff at the lounge after hearing about our situation came over to offer snacks and gave advice about our bus. Shortly after, the young lady at the reception offered us a room so we can rest better till we could catch the next available bus. Thanks to AC hotel staff, they made our wait so much more comfortable and turned an unfortunate event into a heart warming experience.

This hotel is 16minutes from North Beach which was amazing ! The interior of the hotel will make you feel like you are on vacation in a resort. I would recommend for any type of stay either alone , a couple or a family it was magical

Molto bel posto e posizione eccellente. Quando mi sono iscritto per la prima volta, mi sono soffocato dalla mancanza di aiuto dalla ragazza alla ricezione. Le ho chiesto se ci fossero dei patch di pompino locale e lei mi ha detto a Google. Un'altra signora di accoglienza mi ha dato un elenco completo di attività locali senza nemmeno chiedere. Il whip era bello, ma il menu online non è lo stesso di quello del ristorante. Non c'è tavolo da formaggio disponibile, ad esempio. Il parcheggio era difficile a volte. A parte il posto, il personale era molto bello.

Not my first time staying here nor will it be my last. The rooms are simple but just what I'm looking for when in the area. They have a sauna, indoor pool, and an outdoor hot tub. The property is up against a creek and they have a couple places with fire pits right by it. During the ski season there is also a bar downstairs that's a cool place to hang. The small lodges on the edge of the property are really cool and comfortable too!

Ci siamo davvero divertiti, ci siamo sentiti molto domestici, il prezzo era un po' più alto di quanto non fosse stato, probabilmente, da quando abbiamo prenotato questo ultimo minuto durante il picco, quando quasi tutto era già prenotato completamente a Vermont. La persona del desk front era così carina e così era il conducente di sicurezza/shuttle Scott (?). Questo personale amichevole apprezzato dopo un lungo viaggio e un check-in tardivo. La stanza era molto pulita e si può dire che la proprietà era ben mantenuta.

Probably THE nicest ‘motel’we’ve stayed in as it really is a Motor Lodge type motel - parking around both sides of the building - park near your room - great finishes, clean and large sized room. Very comfortable! Close to good restaurants.

Abbiamo pagato quasi $ 500 a notte e ci siamo resi conto poco dopo che questo posto in genere costa circa $ 150. Non sono sicuro del motivo per cui il principale cali di prezzo. È decisamente più di un prezzo di $ 150,00. La spa era piena di bambini che non soggiornavano nemmeno in hotel. Le bolle non funzionavano nella spa. Il pavimento del bagno aveva dei capelli al momento del check e quello che sembrava un cuscino sul tappeto. Il menu del ristorante sembrava incredibile, ma l'abbiamo provato il primo giorno del cambio di menu che non è andato molto bene. Devono essere stati sopraffatti, il che ci ha lasciato delusi. Abbiamo pagato per l'upgrade con vista sul lago, ma la nostra camera era proprio di fronte agli alberi, quindi difficilmente potevamo vedere il lago. (qualcosa che dovrebbero dirti quando paghi l'upgrade). Devo dire che la posizione era ottima e il personale della reception era super cordiale. Ma non pagherei quasi $2000 per un soggiorno di tre notti di nuovo qui. Abbiamo pagato meno per gli hotel a 5 stelle.

We arrived late but the inn keeper (Vince) was so helpful, understanding and accommodating. Refreshing to find such great service. The room was clean and neat. Quaint little place. Love it! Will recommend 👍🏼
