Consiglio al 100% una delle migliori esperienze in hotel, il servizio è molto attento, piacevole, la camera è pulitissima, pulita, il letto è fatto perfettamente, panorami incredibili, la piscina, l'esterno e il cibo sono perfetti, tutto è perfetto, accessori per il bagno ecc. con molti dettagli, infatti abbiamo ripetuto nella stessa catena un altro hotel Santhiya in un altro posto in Thailandia e un ottimo servizio e qualità prezzo per quello che è!

โรงแรมสวย เตียงนุ่มมาก ทุกอย่างในห้องจัดได้ดูดีมากค่ะ แต่แม่บ้านทำความสะอาดไม่ค่อยเรียบร้อย แก้วที่ใช้แล้วตอนแรกวางบนตู้เย็น แม่บ้านเอาไปวางในห้องน้ำซึ่งวางไว้เฉยๆไม่ได้ทำความสะอาด และน้ำดื่มในห้องวันที่เช็คอิน set up น้ำดื่มไว้ 2 ขวด แต่วันต่อมา น้ำดื่มเอามาเติมให้ 1 ขวด ทั้งๆที่อีกขวดยังไม่หมดก็จริงค่ะแต่เหลือแค่ก้นขวดแล้ว แล้วก็ทีวีในห้องเชื่อมต่อ wifi ไม่ได้ โทรหา reception ตอนประมาณ 19.30 ได้คำตอบว่าตอนนี้ไม่มีพนักงานเดี๋ยวตอน 20.30 จะให้พนักงานมาทำงาน แต่ก็ไม่มีใครมาค่ะ (พี่พนักงานต้อนรับในวันเช็คอินน่ารักมากๆ ไม่ว่าจะเกิดปัญหาอะไรก็มาแก้ไขให้อย่างรวดเร็ว แต่พี่พนักงานต้อนรับผู้หญิงไม่ค่อยน่ารักค่ะ)

i booked this hotel for my birthday but never expected much. As soon as we reached the hotel, we were welcomed with a very friendly lady and served with wet towel and welcoming drinks. We were told that the room we’ve booked was overbooked and they are happily to change it to a new one. The least thing i was expected was, they gave a room with my birthdate as the number. and it was decorated nicely for my birthday. and of course with a complimentary cake and fruits😁 a lot of activities provided by the hotel, or you can just strolling around.. the view was spectacular! As we need to check out early to catch our flight, they packed our breakfast to go. Their service and hospitality is top notch! Highly recommended! and I plan to visit this hotel again for my next birthday!

Beautiful location and hotel grounds are absolutely stunning. On the surface the rooms look good but they are a bit dated with some impractical features and water was dripping from the AC vent. The toilet is semi private which is a bit strange - it sort of connects with the shower area which is not ideal when you are with your partner. Also there are no wardrobe doors even though the shower area is right next to it. The staff are generally nice and friendly but service is very average for a hotel of this nature compared to other boutique hotels, with staff constantly forgetting things from food or drinks orders at the restaurant. Flexibility of breakfast was fantastic though and in general the food was excellent. Encountered some issues with room service on our first evening which were resolved promptly the following day. End of stay was disappointing - we appreciated the hotel were able to extend our check-out by 2 hours to 2pm (and able to use a shower room to get changed later in the day), but they made it abundantly clear that if we wanted the room to 7pm then we would have to pay for another half-day occupancy even though the hotel was definitely not full. If the hotel was at full capacity, we would have completely understood the situation. It all felt a bit ‘budget’ from a 5 star hotel. To make matters worse, during a rainy and cool afternoon, we ended up killing time on sun-beds on the beach before we could use the their shower room. The bizarre thing was that the shower room turned out to be a different guest room identical to the one we had been staying in. Surely it would have been easier to let us stay in our original room for a few extra hours, it would also have saved the hotel from having to clean two rooms. Given that we had arrived very late on the first night, it was not like we were trying to take advantage of them and maximise our stay - we were just killing time ahead of our evening flight. It was all quite a weird end and so not sure we’d go back or recommend this hotel even though the setting is incredibly beautiful. There is a lot of communication provided about the ethos of excellent hospitality while staying in the hotel. This specific action and policy seemed in opposition to these communicated values.

Our stay at Merlin Khao Lak was pretty great. We had a week there, and sincerely enjoyed the feeling of staying in a contained and nicely taken care of rain forest by the beach. The location was nearly perfect, but the beach itself wasn't very swimmable (beginning of rain season, to be fair). Fortunately, there were other beaches on the same coast that were nicer during the same time of year, so we did get time in the sea water. Even without sea swimming, the ambience from the waves and the sunsets made the beach plenty nice for us at Merlin. There is also a variety of nicepy kept pools to enjoy, though I typically don't enjoy pools personally. Service/food were both nice as well. The staff was pleasant enough, but it did feel weird that an ecologically minded resort had the least meat/dairy alternatives of any of the several resorts/hotels we stayed at. I found ordering curries with no seafood or meat simple though, and they were mostly still good. The massaman curry was a miss, but everything else I tried was quite good for resort food! We really loved the touch of the room's default tv channel being an info channel about the resort's wildlife and maintenance. That, plus the several info booklets allowed us to have a more guided and knowledgeable experience while sightseeing on the exceptional grounds. It was really fun running into others who were also just having a look around and waiting to see a different animal pop up. We enjoyed our stay. Next time we'd likely come back, while also spending some time up the coast a bit.

La posizione dell'hotel è relativamente remota, quindi la guida autonoma è d'obbligo. Ho scelto una camera deluxe con accesso alla piscina. Inizialmente la stanza era disposta in un angolo, che si diceva avesse una forte privacy, ma la piattaforma era molto scomoda e si affacciava sul bagno del ristorante (foto 4). Era giusto chiedere un cambio di camera il giorno successivo. Il tempo di risposta del servizio in camera è stato lento, ci è voluta quasi un'ora per prendere un secchiello di ghiaccio, i cocktail al bar della spiaggia erano nella media, ma quelli al bar della piscina erano piuttosto buoni. Il cibo del ristorante grill è nella media e il ristorante vicino alla spiaggia dell'hotel (happy beach) è terribile. Guardare il tramonto sulla spiaggia dell'hotel è meraviglioso. In generale, è una buona scelta soggiornare in un hotel per evitare la folla durante il periodo della Festa Nazionale.

Отель состоит из двух корпусов. Тот что ближе к морю, постарше. Мебель уставшая, темновато в номере. Через дорогу-поновее. Номера с выходом иои видом на бассейн. Все отлично! Очень хорошие завтраки. Море рядом. Несколько бассейнов. Из минусов-в очень немногих номерах лесенки в бассейн. У нас не было. Неудобно вылазить из бассейна, можно подскользнуться. Подушки очень высокие и твёрдые. Я так и не нашла для себя удобную, хотя их четыре. В ванне очень мало геля и шампуня(наливают по запросу по одной маленькой бутылочке). Кондиционера для волос нет. Одно маленькое мыльце.

L'hotel è bello, ma avrei dovuto capire dalle foto che sarebbe stato superato con bambini urlando! La posizione sul fronte della spiaggia è stupenda e la spiaggia è bella e pulita, camminare verso il fronte della spiaggia presto se si desidera uno dei lounge dell'hotel portato sulla spiaggia, è molto tranquillo fino a quando le famiglie e i russi non si alzano un po' più tardi! Il colazione era di base, vorrei vedere più opzioni, una più grande selezione di frutta fresca e migliori macchine da caffè (sono stati costantemente rompere durante il nostro soggiorno). Il menu del ristorante non era così grande, e il personale del ristorante non era molto attento. Ci sono una selezione di bellissimi ristoranti e caffè nelle vicinanze che hanno molto meglio cibo, consiglio di provare alcuni di loro, tutta la distanza a piedi. La stanza era buona, anche se non vicino abbastanza gel di doccia, shampoo, ecc per due di noi da usare, Non c'era nulla che provasse da altre stanze vicine che ci annoiavano quando dovevamo dormire presto e i vicini svegliavano fino alle 3:00 sul loro balcone. La piscina di stile lagoon intorno al resort è una grande idea, ma non è una grande idea se non vuoi che i bambini gridano che si sbattono fuori dalla tua stanza tutto il tempo, anche quando la piscina doveva essere chiusa. In tutto questo è stato un piacevole soggiorno per le famiglie, ma come coppia non ci prenoteremmo più qui, perché preferiamo più pace e silenzio!

The beach is well-equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, and there’s a cozy beachside café nearby where you can have lunch or dinner while enjoying the sea view. The resort’s territory is full of life: you’ll see many butterflies and even friendly monitor lizards wandering around, adding to the tropical paradise vibe. Cons: Breakfasts could be more varied, especially in terms of fresh pastries. Good to know: The nearest 7/11 or town café is about a 15-minute walk away (there’s a sidewalk). If you prefer not to walk, a taxi costs 100 baht. The closest self-service laundry is a 15-minute drive away (400 baht). Overall, Khaolak Wanaburee Resort is a perfect choice for those looking to relax in harmony with nature while enjoying comfort and quality service. Highly recommended!
