Hotel caldo con caratteristiche.La stanza prenota è con camera, mais, nessun bagno nella stanza, per favore presta particolare attenzione.Lavato per andare all'hotel con una sola scatola calda, la tradizione giapponese, separare uomini e donne, lavare pulito per entrare nel caldo. I giapponesi amano molto, eh? Il colazione e la cena dell'hotel sono di alta qualità inaspettatamente, e i menu di ogni giorno sono diversi, sorpresi. Il servizio non deve essere detto, il giapponese è intimo, il personale inglese è anche buono, la comunicazione è buona. Insomma, un hotel caratteristico vale la pena sperimentare

It was pretty good. I stayed in the dorms. The only problem I encountered was that the dorms are really large (20 people) so the chance that you’re sharing a room with someone inconsiderate increases. One guy left his alarm on for 6am in his bunk while he went to the bath and it rung for the full 10 minutes. There’s nothing the hotel really could do about that- it’s just a structural note. I had both the breakfast and the dinner twice. Breakfast was decent and dinner was good. The lack of staffing really told at dinner though. The cold dishes and the ones where timing was more forgiving were very good, some of the hot dishes were just OK (never bad though). Given the effort the small team is putting in to work I think a couple more hands in the kitchen might ease timing and elevate the food quality to be more consistent. The dinner menu was almost identical between nights. I think they use the solids from the onion soup to make the salad dressing and maybe since the soup changed on night 2 I didn’t get dressing- which is a shame because it was very tasty. Onsen is sulfurous. There were a bunch of of dead bugs in the outside one, but it’s springtime in the mountains. I guess the only way to deal with that would be staff checking often and they have good staff but very few of them.

L'hotel è molto bello, ma l'interno dell'hotel è data e richiede un po' di aggiornamento. Le strutture e le camere sono tuttavia ben mantenute e le messe sono bellissime e pacifiche. Ci sono due messe principali, separate da uomini e donne. Ogni giorno le stronzate vengono spostate, la mattina si va a una, e la sera prima di cena si può sperimentare l'altra stronzata. È sul sito un ristorante e un negozio regalo molto bello che ha mostrato prodotti locali a prezzi ragionevoli. La stazione di caffè/tea è gratuita per 24 ore. È a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Kinugawa Onsen. Quando arrivate vi forniscono un yukata da indossare mentre siete al hotel. Le camere sono spaziose con leggi occidentali o stile giapponese (sono al piano), e abbiamo scelto di alzare il letto occidentale dal terreno, perché pensavamo che sarebbe stato più freddo dormire sul piano. Le camere sono molto calde e troppo calde, ma abbiamo bisogno di aprire la finestra per raffreddare la stanza. Le camere hanno una bella vista sul campo. La camera è molto grande e dispone di doccia e bagno in una stanza separata dalla camera, anche se ci siamo quasi sempre bagnati nel bagno. Il hotel ha un 7-eleven vicino che era aperto 24 ore, ma altrimenti non c'è molto altro intorno all'hotel. Anche la città di Kinugawa Onsen si chiude molto presto, circa le 8:00 è piuttosto deserta. Eravamo lì alla fine del novembre 2024, e sembrava che l'hotel fosse per lo più senza occupazioni, quindi ci sentivamo come avessimo il posto per noi stessi. Era un piacevole soggiorno di una notte.

I don’t understand why someone would leave a negative review due to their own negligence. Trip.com clearly mentioned the additional 300-yen tax (I assume this is the onsen tax) per person, yet they still claimed they were “scammed.” My overall experience at Hotel Euro City was wonderful. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, and the shuttle bus service was amazing. If you want to get to the hotel easily, check the shuttle schedule on the hotel’s homepage so you don’t have to walk from the station. They run it every day at 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 15:15, 16:15, 17:15, and 18:15 from “Nikko Station Hotel Classic,” right next to JR Nikko Station. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the onsen in the backyard was great. It’s true that the room had a mild smell, but I assume it was due to recent pest control (it smelled like pesticide). Just open the windows for a while and it goes away. Breakfast was okay—not as fancy as in the advertisements, maybe because it wasn’t peak season. Overall, I think this is a very good choice, especially if you’re traveling with family. 自分の不注意が原因なのに、なぜ悪いレビューを書くのか理解できません。Trip.com にはきちんと「1人あたり300円の追加税金（おそらく入湯税）」と明記されているのに、それでも「だまされた」と書く人がいます。 私のホテル・ユーロシティでの滞在はとても快適でした。スタッフの皆さんはとても親切で、シャトルバスのサービスも素晴らしかったです。駅から歩きたくない場合は、ホテルのホームページでシャトルバスの時刻を確認すると良いと思います。毎日、JR日光駅のすぐ隣にある「日光ステーションホテルクラシック」から 9:00／9:30／10:00／15:15／16:15／17:15／18:15 に運行しています。 部屋は広くて快適で、裏庭にある温泉もとても良かったです。確かに部屋には少し匂いがありましたが、おそらく害虫駆除をした後の匂い（殺虫剤のような匂い）だと思います。窓を開けてしばらく換気すればなくなります。 朝食は普通で、広告ほど豪華ではありませんでしたが、ハイシーズンではなかったためかもしれません。全体的に、特に家族連れの方にはとても良い選択だと思います。

Eppure, era un hotel economico e buono. Voglio usarlo di nuovo se ho tempo la prossima volta. Spero che sia un bel momento.

Clean hotel with open-air onsen. Breakfast with a great view of the autumn foliage, even spotted monkeys! Enjoyable relaxing stay. Lobby also has free drinking lounge, superb!! 👍🏼😊 Free shuttle service to Tobu-Nikko station.

Questa è una piccola davanti al lago. Il viaggio di autobus dalla stazione Tobu Nikko era meraviglioso. Ci sono voluti 45 minuti e la passeggiata è per salire sulla montagna. Così eccitante. C'era un fermo di autobus davanti all'hotel. Altrimenti dovete camminare per dieci minuti dal terminale degli autobus. La stanza era accogliente e c'era una sedia di massaggio nella stanza. Quando siamo arrivati all'hotel, siamo andati al terminale per prendere l'ultimo barco. Il pranzo e il prossimo colazione sono meravigliosi. Non aspettate molto circa il cibo perché è un piccolo hotel con piscina all'aperto e all'interno. L'hotel offre caffè e tè gratuito per le persone che soggiornano nell'hotel.

La posizione è piuttosto isolata e ci vuole un'ora e mezza da Tobu Nikko. Il punto forte è che ci sono pochi bus navetta. L'ambiente dell'hotel è buono, le aree comuni sono state rinnovate e sono nuovissime, le camere sono un po' vecchie, ma l'area è ampia. Si possono scegliere solo due orari per la cena: alle 18:00 o alle 18:30. Per la colazione si possono scegliere solo due orari: alle 19:30 o alle 20:00. Se l'orario non coincide, non si può che rinunciare. Ho prenotato un pacchetto di una notte con due pasti e sono partito da Nikko alle 15:00 per recuperare la cena del mattino. E la cena non era molto deliziosa. Quindi non è consigliabile scegliere un pacchetto con cena.

Sulla costa del lago Chuzenji, alcune camere offrono una vista incredibile sul lago e sul maestoso Monte Nantai. Le camere di stile giapponese sono spaziose, con pavimenti tatami, aree sceniche e letti confortevoli, perfetti per godere delle belle foglie d'autunno! Un ringraziamento speciale ai due membri del personale, Lisz e Yuka, per l'eccellente servizio e il fluido inglese di introdurre ogni piatto.

The Knot Utsunomiya is a brand‑new hotel (opened December 2025) with a prime location directly opposite Utsunomiya Station, and it does feature a stylish café and restaurant. However, my overall stay was disappointing. - Check‑in & Service: Staff seemed inexperienced and a bit confused. When I requested extra pillows, I was told only one extra could be provided because the hotel “does not have so many pillows,” which felt unusual for a new property. - Lobby & Atmosphere: The lobby music was very loud, making the space feel noisy rather than welcoming. - Room Design: The room looked spacious at first glance, but the layout wasn’t practical. The table was tiny, leaving little space to put personal items. It felt like the design prioritized appearance over usability. - Noise Issues: Soundproofing was poor. I could hear conversations from the next room and even snoring at night. In the morning, housekeeping staff made loud noises while cleaning other rooms, which disturbed my rest. - Positives: The café and restaurant are nice, and the location opposite the station is extremely convenient. Overall: While the hotel is new and well‑located, the service, noise control, and room functionality need improvement. Hopefully, with time and experience, The Knot Utsunomiya will refine its operations and deliver a more comfortable stay.
