Hotel Metropolitan non mi manca mai. La sua posizione è invincibile, in quanto è vicino alla stazione ferroviaria con un centro commerciale attaccato a essa. Tutto quello che ti serve è a meno di 5 minuti a piedi da cibo, shopping e trasporto. Il personale di servizio è sempre utile e amichevole. Rimanete qui se siete venuti a Nagano!!

La camera e il bagno erano puliti e belli. Eravamo in auto, ma c'erano ampi parcheggi. Durante il nostro soggiorno abbiamo ricevuto drink di benvenuto gratuiti, gelato, chazuke e caffè mattutino gratuiti. Abbiamo potuto ammirare il tramonto anche dalla nostra camera. Anche il bagno pubblico era pulito e dotato di tutti i comfort, comprese le poltrone massaggianti. Ci siamo goduti appieno il nostro soggiorno, anche la receptionist parlava un buon inglese. Lo consiglio vivamente.

We stayed overnight at Toyoko Inn at Matsumoto. It is conveniently located near Matsumoto station. Exit from the East Gate (东口) of the station, head right. The hotel is clean, and considered spacious for Japanese standards. It provides free breakfast, and rather decent too. Recommended.

La posizione è buona, ma potrebbe essere un po' difficile da trovare all'inizio. Si può andare a piedi, secondo Google Maps. Ci sono molti posti dove mangiare. Si può raggiungere a piedi il Castello di Matsumoto. È divertente. La cabina è bella e molto riservata. I prodotti da bagno sono completi. Mi piace che ci siano asciugacapelli, arricciacapelli e piastra. È pulito. Se dovessi tornare a Kamikochi, tornerò sicuramente qui.

Our one-night stay at Hotel Karuizawa Cross was absolutely wonderful! The Superior Bunk Room was perfect for our group of six—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed to ensure everyone had a comfortable and cozy space to rest. The bunk beds were sturdy and well-maintained, and the room had a warm, inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
While the breakfast options were simple and limited, the quality and taste more than made up for it. The homely, delicious meal was a great way to start our day, and it felt like we were enjoying a homemade breakfast prepared with care. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming vibe of the hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Hotel Karuizawa Cross to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to visit again!

We were drawn to this hotel because my friends and I absolutely love Chateraise cakes! Conveniently located about an 8-minute walk from Nagano Station, the hotel was easy to find. Check-in was smooth, and the rooms were comfortable and welcoming. The best part was the daily treat of Chateraise cakes offered as welcome treats and during tea time—a delightful indulgence. The hotel served as an excellent base for exploring Nagano, with popular sights like Zenko-ji Temple within walking distance. Overall, it was a wonderfully convenient stay.

Data d'arrivo ritardato del solito e Dovrebbe essere passato l'orario lavorativo, ma siamo stati informati tramite chat tramite Google. Il personale stava aspettando e rispondendo alle domande. Sono rimasto molto colpito. Contatto tramite Trip Molto difficile da contattare. Per fortuna l'hotel ha un canale di chat. L'alloggio è in una zona dove si può trovare cibo fino a tarda notte, ma potrebbe essere necessario camminare un po' e non troppo lontano dal terminal degli autobus. Le camere sono pulite, il sapone liquido è profumato e in alcuni periodi c'è del ramen gratuito volte. Ottimo consiglio

Nice clean hotel with many goodies.
Free soba at night, ice cream or probiotic drink after a nice onsen.
It's near the JR station but is on a street that is closed to cars on the weekend. Unable to locate the hotel due road closure on a Sunday.i would like to thank the staff for allowing us to drop our bags, guide us to the car rental company and alley our anxiety.

Very clean, looks like a relatively new building or newly renovated Toyoko Inn. Good breakfast with a beautiful view of the alps from the top floor. 10 minute walk to the train station, which is not bad. Unfortunately we didn’t know we had to call to reserve parking, but the parking attendant was nice about it and directed us to a different public lot. I read signs saying that parking will change to first come first serve basis in May. Happy with our stay

Il parcheggio dell'hotel è meno. Non ci sono posti prenotati in anticipo. Ci siamo lasciati a un parcheggio lontano la notte.

UUtente ospiteI am a solo traveler who stayed in the room with private open bath. I enjoyed my 2 nights stay. Hotel looks tired and old but it was all good . Btw, you have to use a key to open the door not access card.
I paid for my room with breakfast and dinner. I have a private dining space in a restaurant which I like it. Skip all queue and I dine at the same place for all meals. Dinner was great. Breakfast spread was wonderful too.
I tried the one hour jap massage and it was so good.
There isn’t anyone who can really speak English. The guests are mainly locals.
There is free shuttle to check in and check out.
Overall I give 9/10!!

UUtente ospiteWe recently stayed at this newly opened hotel, which, although located quite a distance from the city, exceeded our expectations in every way. Being part of a well-known hotel chain, we were confident in the level of quality, and we’re happy to say it lived up to its reputation.
One of the highlights of our stay was the onsen. It was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted warmly with a welcome drink, which was a thoughtful and refreshing start to our stay.
For families with children, this hotel goes above and beyond. There were fun and engaging activities available specifically for kids, with small prizes offered to keep them excited and entertained. This thoughtful touch really helped our children stay engaged throughout the stay, and gave us some time to relax as well.
Even though the hotel is not located in the Hakuba area itself, it’s just a manageable drive away. We chose to stay here because the price was comparable to hotels in Hakuba, but with added amenities and a quieter environment. It turned out to be a great decision — we got the best of both worlds: a comfortable stay and access to skiing.
We booked two rooms and requested adjoining ones with a connecting door. The hotel was able to accommodate this perfectly, which made it so much easier for our family to stay together while still having enough space.
The breakfast, while somewhat limited in variety, featured fresh and high-quality local ingredients. The flavors were delicate yet satisfying, and it was clear the kitchen took pride in highlighting local produce.
Service was another strong point of our stay. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. From check-in to check-out, their warm hospitality stood out.
The hotel also offers ample parking, which is always a plus when traveling by car. Near the onsen area, there were vending machines for drinks and ice, as well as coin-operated washing machines. There were only three washers, which could have been an issue, but the staff managed it thoughtfully — when previous guests didn’t return promptly to pick up their laundry, the staff carefully placed their clean clothes in bags and stored them at the front desk to free up machines for others. That kind of proactive service really impressed us.
Overall, this hotel provided a peaceful and convenient base for our winter trip. With clean facilities, thoughtful amenities, family-friendly features, and excellent service, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to relax in comfort while being just a short drive away from Hakuba’s ski resorts.

MMinah Goes AroundHighly surprised with thjs room! So spacious and well-equipped with amenities! Parking is also available although one has to walk abit as it is behind the hotel. There are 2 TV’s and 1 remote so will need to toggle left and right. Bed is good although pillow can be more firm in my own opinion.
With mountain view and waking up to sunrise, what a way to wake up. We didn’t have breakfast so we wouldn’t know about the variety. There’s a convenience store just a few blocks down.
Overall, we enjoyed out stay here in Hotel JAL - specifically this room :D

Per quanto riguarda i servizi, tutto era generalmente buono. Poter utilizzare tutti i bagni del ryokan ha reso l'esperienza più piacevole. La camera era un po' polverosa, ma nel complesso andava bene.
Per quanto riguarda il servizio, la cena è stata molto buona, ma vale la pena notare che se si chiede un consiglio, esitano a darne uno perché è al di fuori del loro repertorio abituale. La colazione, dal nostro punto di vista, è stata un po' meno curata; è già apparecchiata sul tavolo e non viene spiegata come avviene a cena. Allo stesso modo, durante il nostro soggiorno, abbiamo avuto l'impressione che il personale non fosse molto attento agli ospiti e non ci abbia informato su tutti i servizi offerti.
Gli yukata possono essere acquistati in hotel per circa 5.000 yen.

UUtente ospiteAll'inizio di febbraio sono rimasto in questo hotel con mia moglie e due figli durante un viaggio di due notti a Karuizawa. L'hotel ha circa 100 anni e la sua reputazione è che John Lennon è rimasto lì. Il piano su cui gioca è ancora nel bar.
Posizione: L'hotel è vicino alla Old Ginza Street e intorno a una guida 15-minutes dalla stazione Karuizawa. Non è stato difficile trovare, ma è necessario navigare un approccio stretto all'hotel che è freddo in questo momento dell'anno, quindi è necessario guidare attentamente.
Pulizia: il personale mi ha detto che l'hotel era solo recentemente e che tutto era molto pulito e in buona condizione.
Servizio: Il ricevitore che ha effettuato il check-in è probabilmente il giapponese che ha parlato il miglior inglese che avevo incontrato in questo viaggio. MMeowVanWhat an awesome experience! The hotel offered exemplary service before we even arrived. Due to special travel arrangements, we arrived late and the staff quick to arrange an in-room bento dinner for us before our arrival. When we got there, we were immediately blown away by the gorgeousness of the hotel.
Despite its age, everything was very clean and polished. I can see that great care had been taken to upkeep the hotel and it’s premises, which are extraordinarily beautiful. We couldn’t resist taking pictures even after check-out, and it took us an hour to finally reluctantly leave. Words cannot actually do the place justice, you must visit there yourself.
We were very impressed with how delicious the food was, and the attention to detail, including the placement of the food, the coordination of food color. My mouth is still watering as I recall how delicious it was. I had 10 helpings of their prime rib one day. Besides, I had a dietary restriction and the staff were really careful with that, to the extent of reminding me what dishes not to eat everyday at their breakfast and dinner buffet.
In addition to excellent food and service, the hotel went out of its way to be very eco-friendly. For every day that we did not need our room to be tidied, we earned points, which can be traded in for ice cream or other goodies.
Finally, the staff spoke perfect English. This is rare indeed, and it made everything so much easier and so much more enjoyable. Thanks for the experience!
