コンテナホテルでしたが、清潔で広さも十分でした。
軽食も付いていてよかったです。横にローソンがあり、コンビニが横にあるのも良かったです。
ただ、タクシーがなく、飲食店への交通手段がなかったのが大変でした。

The motel is for adults only and with high privacy but it is difficult to look for the reception. The staff is nice although she can’t speak English. Room is big is good value of price.

Hotel letaknya dekat stasiun JR Ritto... kira2 200mt hotel khusus orang dewasa sempet kaget tp setelah menginap semua berjalan dengan baik dan menyenangkan walaupun petugas reception nya tidak dapat berbahasa Inggris tp semuanya baik dan ramah... kamar yg bersih dan semua fasilitas ug menyenangkan.... terima kasih hotel Fine Ritto dan Trip.com

We stayed two nights in the hotel with breakfast and dinner. The web page of Trip.com showed that there was onsen in the hotel but when we check in, we were told that it was a ”mistake”. There is no onsen and the photo is a public onsen half an hours away. It was very disappoining that the Trip.com include photos irrelevant to the hotel. Dinner was also diffferent from the web photo. We have to pay 2500 yen each to upgrade the dinner to shsbu shabu. Breakfast is Japanese style with limited choice. Other than these, we had lake view room and shopping mall is nearby which are the advantages.

great lake view, very big room, very nice people. only thing, if you arrive early and wait for your room to be ready they don’t even offer a glass of water.
also, the lounge is repeatedly serving the same food, day in day out..

A great choice for travelers looking for convenience. The hotel is well-situated, making it easy to access transportation and nearby restaurants. The Onsen is a wonderful touch, and the breakfast is delicious—though I wish they provided a bit more time for guests to enjoy their meal. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A pleasant stay overall!

UUtente anonimoIt was a great stay at this ryokan! The hotel is able to arrange a car to fetch you from the JR station. You can call them using a dedicated phone at the station which is used to contact the different ryokans. The car arrived in 10mins or so. The ride to the ryokan was also less than 10mins. The hotel also fetched us to the station on the last day of our stay.
The ryokan itself is homely and cozy. We were greeted by an english speaking staff who introduced us to the amenities of the ryokan. There was also a nice welcome tea and matcha chocolate. Our bags were brought to our room as well during this time.
The room is spacious and cozy. The hotel prepared 2 welcome biscuits in the room which was a nice personal touch. The room has a nice living room and a great view of Lake Biwa. Recommend to catch the sunrise over the lake! There are 2 normal beds as well as futon beds (need to set up yourself). Both are comfortable. The hotel also prepared pretty yukata for both female and male guests which you can wear during the stay. There are 4 different designs for ladies, and one design for the guys. You can request for different size if the one in the room doesn’t fit you. There is also a full length mirror and a mini dressing area at the side of the living room. It was fun dressing up in the yukata!
The toilet, basin, shower and hot tub areas are all separate. The toilet is a little small, but the basin and mirror area is very spacious. The shower area is quite small as well and the shower head is rather low so you need to hold the shower head if you wish to wash up while standing. There is a small stool given for you to sit down though. The hot tub area is semi-outdoor and you can see Lake Biwa. But it is quite small (only good for one person). It was too cold so we didn’t use the hot tub.
Instead, we booked the private onsen for 50mins. The private onsen has a private toilet and dressing area which is equipped with hairdryer, body lotion etc. There is a water dispenser as well if you need to hydrate yourself. The onsen area has a washing area, and the hot tub area is spacious for 2 person. There are privacy screens around the onsen area but there is a small gap to let in cold air for ventilation. Wish there is a good view from the private onsen but it was still enjoyable!
Dinner and breakfast was Kaiseki style, and the meals were one of the highlights for my husband and I. We really enjoyed the courses which are clean tasting yet wholesome, fresh and flavourful. It was such a sumptuous treat!
The ryokan also has a souvenir shop if you wish to buy anything back.
Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed the stay here and we agreed this was one of the main highlights of our 12 days trip in Japan. Highly recommend!

UUtente ospiteThis is my second time at Biwako Ryokusuitei. My husband and I first stayed there in 2022 and we were so impressed with the service that we brought our family there again in 2024. We really enjoyed the convenience of bathing in the onsen in our room and the dinner and breakfast was as superb as we remembered it.
Special mention goes to the kind driver who sent us to Sakamoto Cable Car when we checked out. He went out of his way to bring us to the train station to check whether there were any empty lockers available for our hand luggages and tried his best to communicate with us in English to recommend places to go and restaurants to try. His kindness and joviality stayed with us until we returned to Singapore and is something that we still talk about today.
Thank you to everyone at the Ryokan for making it a memorable trip for my family and I!

NNuonuokafeiGrazie mille per il servizio clienti di Trip.com. Ho salito dal treno di Kyoto a Liugen per contattarlo. Lascia che l'hotel accetti. Ha risolto i problemi velocemente come il fulmine e ha una qualità precisa ed efficiente! Quotidian ha raggiunto la strada di trasporto pubblico di Liugan per circa un'ora. L'arrivo all'automobile dell'hotel è stato chiaramente trovato secondo l'avviso. Mi ha collegato da solo. Cinque minuti di viaggio, nella direzione della città di Liugan, con la strada di bagaglio non è consigliata. Sarà molto stanco se prendo un taxi circa 700 yen. La metà della stanza dell'hotel è diretta verso la metà del castello.La vista del castello è molto bella. Ho soggiornato in fiori di fiori a aprile 2, 2025 solo dopo il 10 aprile, il piano superiore del quinto piano della mia stanza è in posizione di guardia del cielo e il paesaggio è di prima classe. La stanza non è grande, due letti sono inconvenienti su un altro muro. Una persona vive bene, la toilette è stata rinnovata, lo stile della stanza è più vecchio, non vecchio.Un'altra stanza senza paesaggi è più piccola e l'esperienza di soggiorno è peggiore. Ho preparato una tazza di bicchiere, cucina japonesa per cena. Penso che la qualità sia molto buona. Il cibo è un sapore di carne di porcellino, e la sincerità è generalmente piena. La colazione è più semplice senza uova calde, ci sono tutti i tipi di verdure fritte, la colazione è peggiore di quella di acqua verde maschile, il livello di cena è quasi uguale, sono hotel molto attenti a cucinare, e si può fare affidamento per scegliere un pacchetto con cibo.Il salone ha frutta di birra con questi piccoli pasti. La zuppa di soppa di uomo caldo non è sostituita, una zuppa di donna è 38.5 un 42.5, quindi una zuppa troppo fredda e un filtro, 4 1° meglio. La ragione per cui l'igiene ha dato una stella è che un'aquila verde ha trovato un punto di olio per cambiare il colore. Questa è la mia ultima decisione di lavarsi. Dice che non dovrei indossare. Il pomeriggio, il caldo e il caldo sono indossati nella stanza per bere tè. Come ho sentito il sapore di tè. Ho preso l'aquila e ho quasi non l'ho mandato via. Un cattivo cazzo mi ha fatto correre in bagno secco, cioè il tipo di cattivo che una persona con una forte bocca ha colpito diversi vestiti. Let’s talk about the suggested improvements on facilities provided by hotel:
1) parking facilities - there is no accessible ramps or pavements for customers taking their heavy luggage from the parking areas - the only thing that we can do was to carry these luggages up the staircases to the hotel lobby from the parking area.
2) hotel entrance lay-by - it was raining heavily when I checked out today. I planned to drive my car to the hotel entrance so that my family members can jump into the car and I can load all my luggages to the trunk under the canopy of the hotel entrance. “Luckily”, the canopy is too short and has no such design and finally everybody got into the car and they were ALL WET. I have to load those luggages to the car under the rain……
3) Onsen (public bath) - nothing to say about this old, obsolete, small public bath without maintanance.
4) staff - I’d say, with the “name” of Marriott, this hotel is really under staff……

TTimentoDiverRecentemente sono rimasto all'AB Hotel Hikone e ho avuto un'esperienza eccezionale. La posizione si trova a 5 stelle, a 5-9 Daitocho, Hikone, Shiga, che offre facile accesso alle attrazioni chiave. La pulizia dell'hotel è lodevole, guadagnando un altro rating 5-star. Il personale era amichevole e accogliente, anche se un po 'più alto per l'amichevole sarebbe migliore l'esperienza complessiva. Il prezzo è eccellente, con strutture di alto livello che meritano un completo 5 stelle. In generale, AB Hotel Hikone offre un fantastico soggiorno con la sua posizione migliore, la pulizia, il valore per i soldi e le strutture eccellenti.

AArt of MomentsThis isn’t our first stay at a Vessel Inn, and it likely won’t be the last. They’ve become a safe, reliable choice for us whenever we travel around Japan.
The room at Vessel Inn Shiga Moriyama was exactly what we expected—clean, well-maintained, and equipped with the standard amenities and toiletries we’ve come to appreciate. We didn’t get a chance to use the hotel facilities this time, so can’t comment on those.
Our main concern is always the cleanliness of the bed and overall comfort, and we’re glad to say it passed with flying colors. No funky surprises, just a peaceful night’s rest.
One thing that stood out: the room size felt more spacious than what we’re used to in places like Osaka. Definitely a plus when you’ve got luggage or just want to breathe a little easier.
All in all, a solid stay that gave us what we needed—nothing fancy, but exactly right.
