There are some positives, such as, the breakfast which was very tasty and hot, the comfort of the bed, the shower was powerful and hot and the TV, which allowed me to watch programmes that I wanted.
However, the negatives are not so good.
These include: -
1. When I booked, I saw nothing mentioned of how the elevator did not operate from lower ground (LG) to upper ground (UG). The only means of getting to the reception, which is on the UG level is by climbing 12 steps. This was totally unacceptable as two of my party are elderly, very frail and have extreme difficulties in ascending and descending stairs. Had we have been advised prior to booking, I am certain we wouldn't have booked.
2. The gentlemen's toilet in the reception has an awful odour as you enter it.
3. On to our designated rooms. We stayed in rooms 527 & 523 (second party).
With 527, the air conditioning does not operate and on entry to the room it was particularly stuffy and hot. Moreso, as a safety precaution, and because it is a high level floor, it is not possible to open the windows to allow airing of the room. This just accentuated the discomfort as the room was too warm.
The toilet flush pressure was poor and flushed too short. I should leave that to ones imagination.
In 523, the hairdryer does not work.
4. One annoying issue; which was not only experienced by us, but also by the patron of room 511; was after we had finished our breakfast and returned to our rooms, none of us could enter due to the key cards being disabled. This was at 1040, and we were prior advised that check out was at 1100.
This was corrected by Tracey, who was apologetic and very nice to deal with (which is another positive, of course).
All in all, my memory of this stay, which was only for 20 hours, will not be the best experience of a hotel stay that I've ever had, and unless they can correct the negatives very soon, I am sorry to say that I would not recommend to family or friends to stay here.

UUtente ospiteOur stay at this hotel left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. While I wouldn't go so far as to say avoid it entirely, I can't recommend it or see myself returning.
The room, advertised as having a king-size bed, disappointingly turned out to be a double. Despite the hotel's emphasis on green choices, the room was unbearably warm upon arrival. We had to open both the windows and the door just to cool it down. This lack of basic comfort seemed counterintuitive to their eco-conscious branding.
Furthermore, small but crucial amenities were absent, such as a hairdryer, and some lights weren't working. The absence of an in-room phone meant there was no easy way to request these missing items, adding to the overall inconvenience.
The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The so-called buffet consisted of a small, albeit pleasant, continental breakfast. However, being asked immediately upon arrival if we'd like to pay an additional £10 for a cooked breakfast made the setup feel misleading. At £14.50, the continental breakfast alone did not feel like good value.
The restaurant also had a notice about a £2.50 charge for menu amendments. While I understand the principle of upcharges, this particular policy felt excessive and off-putting.
These issues were compounded by a lack of personal touches that form the foundation of good customer service. No one asked at checkout or during breakfast how our stay had been, a small but impactful gesture that could have mitigated some of our disappointments.
In hindsight, I feel I overpaid by about 20-30% compared to the value I received. Knowing what I do now, I likely wouldn't have chosen this hotel for our stay.

Kkerrie41Excellent reception staff on arrival friendly and helpful, bar was nice and relaxing plenty of places to sit and drink...restaurant looked equally as nice although we didn't eat ...pool looked plenty big and gym facilities looked good to ...we only stayed one night so didn't use everything but I would definitely stay again ...room was a good size bathroom looked a little tired but was nice and clean plenty of towels ect and soap,hand lotion, body wash,shampoo ect was nice for a quick shower before check out.

UUtente ospiteIl receptionista di mattina era piacevole aveva le questioni in hotel doveva controllare in più tardi . Quando si accendeva più tardi il giorno dopo le 4:00, un ricevitore diverso ci ha dato 2 camere doppie, ma non era a conoscenza della zona né se la cena fosse dal menu o buffet, perché non lavorava in quel dipartimento ! Miserabile ragazza, l'ospitalità non è certamente la sua forte. La colazione inizia alle 8:00 ma il caldo colazione non è stato messo fuori fino alle 8:30 e perso il nostro treno a causa di questo come abbiamo dovuto sbrigare. Il nostro colazione imperativo è servito al momento indicato. Il personale era scusato, ma questo è successo prima.Hotel molto centrale e in generale molto piacevole soggiorno.

GGeeTurnerIl personale era bello, ma ci trovavamo in una stanza dove la TV non funzionava, la finestra non si chiuse completamente e non avevamo acqua calda.
La struttura è stata molto attraente, ma la posizione è molto grande se avete una macchina!
