Ottima posizione. Ci siamo stati per due notti. Colazione semplice ma buona. L'orario della colazione diventa affollato e dobbiamo aspettare i piatti freschi e ci è voluto un po'. A parte questo, abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno fantastico. Parcheggio gratuito e caricabatterie per EV disponibili. Ci tornerei :)

Absolutely stunning hotel. Undersold on its website. Original Tudor hall with many original features which compare favourably to any that you might see in a National Trust property - especially the two incredible fireplaces. Great views towards central London from the terrace at the back. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was large, well furnished, and quiet (as I think would be all the hotel as in large grounds). Shame that pond was drained. Annex at the back where the bedrooms are not very sympathetic design to the rest of the stunning hotel, and the gym could be better furnished. I think that Laura Ashley was involved in the interior design. Some reviews say that it is a bit down at it heels, but I didn't think so - more of a lived in air which made me feel more at ease. Looks of quirky design features which work well in a sort of 1960s New Avengers way, but I didn't like the fake wood pattern wallpaper in the bar as it cheapens the glorious fireplace next to it. My daughter loved sitting in one of the James Bond super villain blue chairs in the bar - she moaned that she didn't have our cat with her to complete the effect. We booked this for not much more than the local Premier Inn that I normally stay at - but this is in completely a different league. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful hotel.

We (family of 5) stayed in the family room as we had an early flight from Stansted in the morning. We emailed Julie with our arrival time and she had everything prepared for us including an additional camping bed in the room. We were greeted warmly and showed around our and the breakfast room. Julie even went as far to place boy/girl napkins on the table for us which was very sweet. The room itself was lovely - large enough for 5 of us and our luggage. Beds were comfy and we had good hot water and biscuits/hot drinks. The location is perfect for Stansted, it took us less than ten minutes to get to the Mid Stay car park but note that if you're in the Long Stay it's a longer journey. Another advantage is that they will let you park your car on-site for a small fee, and you can then taxi to and from the airport which is only a few minutes (we will definitely do this next time as it's considerably cheaper than the airport car parks). Breakfast was amazing - since we left early we weren't that hungry but they had a huge variety of cereals, bread/crumpets, yoghurts, drinks, cereal bars, cheese, fruit ... the list goes on. Price was also very affordable especially for larger families as we could book a single room vs. having to book two (most places are max. occupancy of four). Many thanks and hope to see you soon!

Ho prenotato prima una notte perché non sono sicuro che questo hotel sia abbastanza confortevole, il primo giorno in cui siamo arrivati ​​era una giornata piovosa e dopo uno spettacolo a Londra siamo arrivati ​​all'hotel intorno alle 18.00. Il parcheggio Sutton è chiuso all'hotel e abbiamo speso £ 6 per il parcheggio 24 ore su 24, un prezzo abbastanza ragionevole (ma potete ottenere uno sconto di £ 2 alla reception, ma sfortunatamente nessuno mi ha informato, non importa!! ) Abbiamo ordinato una cena serale dal sapore piuttosto buono. Ho ammirato il loro servizio di check-in e check-out online. Ma il giorno dopo, mentre stavo dormendo e ho appeso un cartello alla porta, il loro personale ha bussato alla mia porta due volte, abbastanza ridicolo, possono chiamare io invece, ma i loro modi sono gentili, quindi spero che possano migliorarli. Se dovessi soggiornare di nuovo a Watford, tornerò sicuramente in questo hotel.

Siamo rimasti solo per una notte, in viaggio verso nord. Il parcheggio era disponibile gratuitamente. L'ingresso era veloce, la stanza era meravigliosa e il buffet era tutto, e io significa tutto ciò che si potrebbe desiderare di un colazione. Abbiamo avuto un terribile tempo e rimarremo certamente di nuovo.

The hotel staff said that he couldnt find my booking although I provided my booking reference and voucher and request 15 pounds for Early check in and charged my account 51 pounds in total. Although I kept saying I booked via Trip.com and paid while I booked the hotel online. It was a prepaid booking. I am so disappointed that the hotel sent me the invoice & receipt on 14 March but I was told I would get the balance of receipt and I would be charged the early check in fee 15 pounds only, the accommodation fee after I checked out at 12pm on March 15. On March 15, when I was checking out, I checked with another staff who was on duty, he said the hotel didn’t charge my card, but the agency card, it was acceptable. Unfortunately, on my bank statement I found that the hotel charged my card for all. And it was really disappointed because they didnt really dealed with my questions and my situation. I did double pay for the accommodation to Trip. Com and the Primier Inn Richmanworth.

This hotel is very conveniently located for access to and from the M1 (which is why I chose it). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for location is because if you fancy taking a stroll into the nearby village, perhaps for a pub meal and a drink, then the footpath is non- existent in places and you need to be careful in the dark. But that's not the hotel's fault and as the hotel is clearly set up for travelling business customers, I suppose most people would just drive a couple of minutes to the local pubs (which were more lively than the hotel bar). Aside from that, everything else was fine. The staff were all helpful and polite and the breakfast was delicious and filling. And the room was fine too. Overall, this hotel worked well for me on this occasion and I am happy to recommend it
