"Situato in una tranquilla strada residenziale, ma a 300 metri da bar, ristoranti e negozi, il Woodroffe dista anche 300 metri dalla metropolitana leggera e da numerose linee di autobus. Una posizione perfetta. Moderno, pulito e progettato per soggiorni di lavoro o di piacere. Una lavanderia è disponibile al piano della hall, insieme a una caffetteria e a un forno a microonde per gli ospiti. Le camere sono tranquille e spaziose. Il personale è semplicemente delizioso. Vista dalla camera sullo yacht club e sull'oceano."

"The hotel is in a very good location for exploring Cairns, a short walk to the harbour and even shorter walk for all kinds of restaurants, the hotel has its own restaurant where they serve a BBQ type meal with the meats being carved at your table. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful, Francesca was really lovely, there’s three lifts to all floors, our room 718, was very clean and tidy, lovely cool cotton sheets on a massive bed, a large TV and coffee and tea making facilities, the shower and toilet was ok maybe a bit dated but it served a purpose, the room was cleaned with fresh towels every day, we had breakfast in the hotel which was $25 each, its buffet style so have as much as you need, the restaurants around the hotel are very eclectic, but YaYas’ Greek restaurant is fantastic, the food the staff the atmosphere are all great, highly recommend you try it. All in all the hotel is at the heart of Cairns and all it has to offer."

"Pensavo che, visto il prezzo, non sarebbe stato granché, ma siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi. La vista è magnifica, la posizione è perfetta ed è un posto incantevole ma allo stesso tempo accogliente. Il personale è stato fantastico e i servizi offerti sono un ottimo modo per trascorrere una serata, lo consiglio vivamente!"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Stay! La villa era moderna, senza spot e molto comoda, tutto si sentiva fresco e ben mantenuto. La posizione è eccellente, conveniente, ma tranquilla, rendendola perfetta per le famiglie. Quello che ci ha colpito davvero è stato il servizio sorprendente, ma la nostra figlia ha lasciato involontariamente il suo amato Kindle, e il personale si è spinto sopra e oltre per aiutare. Lo hanno accuratamente imballato in un bubble-wrap e lo hanno messo a noi gratuitamente, anche se abbiamo offerto di coprire il costo e il loro tempo. È arrivato in sicurezza, e siamo così grati per la loro gentilezza e onestà. È raro trovare una così autentica ospitità in questi giorni. Avremmo fortemente raccomandato Chinchilla Motor Inn a chiunque fantastiche strutture e anche persone migliori!"

"Ho soggiornato qui da sola. È un tipico ostello. Il bagno e la biancheria sono puliti e i prezzi sono ragionevoli. Tuttavia, è lontano dalla stazione e l'autobus passa solo una volta all'ora dalla fermata più vicina. Sebbene sia vicino al centro, non è molto accessibile."

"First time I've stayed here. I was aware of the mixed reviews & I've stayed at other hotels in Chermie but they were booked out on this occasion. It was raining heavily when I arrived so appreciated the undercover parking spaces immediately outside the reception. Check-in was seamless (thx Trip.com) & they didn't require a security deposit or CC scan so my customer trust box was ticked :-) The car park is secure & at ground level but spaces are limited; I was able to find a spot though at 4pm. There is public parking out on the street without restriction after 5pm. I had a Hotel Queen Room on the 2nd floor. Easy access via lift and the common areas were clean & well lit. The room and bathroom were clean with a pleasant aroma & no smell of mould (reported by others), air-con was on. I had a choice of two sliding doors to access the balcony so good for fresh air (but no insect screen). Overall, the room was comfortable whilst showing some signs of wear & tear. The shower had a choice of either hand-held or fixed head (rainforest type) & had plenty of pressure - great. I would recommend bringing your own toiletries, unless you're happy with generic multi-function liquid soap! The fridge was empty except for a small uht milk with no complimentary springwater or mini-bar that you might find in other hotels. There was TV, tea/coffee making supplies and a small microwave. If you like to sleep in complete darkness (like me), bring an eye-mask as the hallway lighting outside the room is bright & on all night, creating an aura around the front door that is hard not to notice. The area was relatively quiet with the hotel located on a side street. It's an easy & short walk to a major shopping centre and the bus station if you need to head into Briz City, which is a 20-30min ride away & only $0.50 fare - awesome. Breakfast (from 7am) was also included but I had to head-off early so wasn't able to grab a bite this time. In summary, I felt that the room rate was appropriate and score my overall experience as good."

"Logger’s rest was a great stay. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and interesting to talk to. The room was cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was well prepared."

"Arriving after 5pm on a Thursday, I followed the explicit directions provided by Ascot management. There was a short walk (150 meters at most) to my room but the directions provided ensured that I was in my room in quick order. The fellow on the desk was able to assist with directions to fine dining close by and in the morning assisted again with directions to the train getting me to the airport easily on time. It's a well kept, conveniently located accommodation. I'll stay again next time in Brisbane."

"Darei un solido 9,5/10 a questo ostello. Tutto è fantastico, il personale è fantastico, molto cordiale e accogliente, ogni giorno c'è un evento ed è sempre gentile, la posizione è perfetta, a pochi passi da tutti i punti principali della città e molto vicino ai trasporti pubblici (fermata degli autobus Greyhound e stazione ferroviaria per l'aeroporto). Anche gli ospiti sono fantastici e questo è un ostello molto socievole, ma fortunatamente non un posto per fare festa. Perfetto per fare nuove amicizie ma anche per dormire bene in un posto tranquillo. I bagni nelle camere sono un po' vecchi e la pulizia non è eccellente, ma comunque buona. Altamente consigliato se volete trascorrere un bel soggiorno a Brisbane in un ottimo ostello sociale."
