Amazing service throughout our stay. Polite staff and an excellent buffet spread for breakfast (didn't try the lunch or dinner, as we were out).

As always everything was good from the beginning... the check in till check out. The breakfast which wasn't quite the usual during our last stay there were totally opposite this time... understood there was a face-lift refurbishment work carried out at the restaurant the last time and as such it was excuseable..This time around the hotel had exceeded our expectation for both the service standard and eloborate buffet breakfast readied for the guests. We would like to thank all the restaurant staff in particular the restaurant manager SK Allarakha for making every morning as a start of a pleasant day with all the courteous services extended to us by him and his lovely team..This has prompted my family to celebrate my 60th birthday in the morning of 16/1/2026 before their departure for flight.Thank you for a great and courteous service shown to my family and i.We will definitely choose to stay at the TRT again the next time around. Way2go all... Cheers!

Amazing service in all senses. The food is amazing there. Do try if you visit salem. Highly recommended. The room-service and in-room dining is a hasslefree thing and we can just relax without any tension.

Arrival and first impressions
i arrived at jc residency and was immediately struck by its elegant architecture and well-maintained premises. The warm reception at the front desk made me feel welcome, with staff greeting me with genuine smiles and prompt assistance. The check-in process was seamless, and i was guided to my room quickly. I had called up the hotel before hand and told them that we will be reaching at around 4 AM in the night please keep room ready , but on arrival they took full fifteen minutes to check us in first they said they only have disable friendly room , I said it's not done , then they reluctantly gave me a normal room, saying that it was meant for some other customer , really said and above all they said the invoice will be mailed , I have called up thrice still no invoice received
Taj is known for its service culture , but it's sad to see such low level

Séjour agréable! L’hôtel est très bien isolé phoniquement.
Petit bemol au petit-déjeuner : la machine à café était en panne et le personnel n'a pas semblé pressé de résoudre le problème. En outre, bien que le service commence à 7h, tous les plats n'ont été mis en place qu'aux environs de 7h30.
Nel complesso, l’esperienza rimane positiva, ma alcuni miglioramenti sulla reattività durante il servizio mattina sarebbero apprezzati.

HHonser TanMy initial stay at this newly launched hotel was excellent. The modern facilities were in perfect working order, and the room was impeccably clean and comfortable. It was a promising start that convinced me to return.
Unfortunately, my second stay was profoundly disappointing and raised several concerns. The first room I was assigned had a strong, unpleasant odor. While I appreciate the staff promptly moving me to a second room, it only partially resolved the issue, as a faint strange smell persisted.
The second room had multiple functional problems:
* Non-Functional Power:** The USB ports and power sockets on the wall faulty.
* Inconsistent Hot Water:** The water heater took an excessively long time to heat up, disrupting my routine.
* Purify water contamination:** There's particles and oil from the purify water. It seems contamination from central filter.
Most alarmingly, at approximately 6 AM one morning, a **very loud alarm sounded from the door area.** This was highly disruptive and concerning, as it was unclear whether it was a security breach alarm or a triggered fire alarm. The lack of any immediate information or follow-up from the hotel staff regarding this incident left me feeling unsettled and concerned about the emergency protocols.
While the front desk staff were helpful in changing my room, the combination of maintenance failures and a confusing safety alarm indicates a significant lapse in operational standards. For a new hotel, this is troubling. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure the safety and comfort of all future guests.

VValentine56My wife and I stayed there for 3-days in mid July, overall stay was good and pleasant and we take this opportunity to thank Mr Ramar (Manager @ Cilantro) who was not only polite and professional, he went the extra mile to help us out in a complex situation that arose on our 1st day.
A well deserved PAT for Mr Ramar in exhibiting his professionalism
But I cant say the same for the Travel Manager Mr Balaji who vehemently refused and not even seeking any other avenues or alternatives to assist us, totally
no empathy shown at all bearing the fact that we being tourists cant access to all your facilities
This we consider a major setback as its reflects horrid customer service

They need lots of improvement in service and the rooms need some renovation as the wardrobes n carpets look old. it will also be better if they use some room freshener or candles with fragrance as the room doesn't have a pleasant smell. Overrall, it's not that great for a premium hotel.

PPraveenKrishnaI highly recommend this place for families with children. The location is excellent and the ambience is extraordinary. The resort's theme is Rajasthani and is very well-maintained. The hospitality and food are good, although there are a lot of flies, which can be a bit bothersome. The resort has a swimming pool suitable for children of all ages, but please be cautious as the pool area can get slippery. The resort also offers daily programs which are posted near the reception area to keep everyone entertained. It's not just a place to stay for the night, but a great spot to spend quality time with your family and relax.

SSawar Mal AgarwalOverall, the hotel is good and the staff are polite and welcoming. The evening 6:30 PM carnatic music combine with fire show was especially beautiful and truly enjoyable.
However, there are a few areas where improvement is needed:
There was no response from the Palace service number. I tried calling 3–4 times on 19th February at around 9:45 AM, but no one answered.
On 20th February at 6:15 AM, I requested a scissor or knife to cut the tag from my dress. No one turned up for about 15 minutes, and I had to change my outfit and leave by 6:32 AM.
The breakfast spread was very vast with a wide variety of options, which was impressive. However, the masala tea was very disappointing. It seemed like masala was simply mixed into regular tea. In India, masala tea is prepared authentically and is refreshing, giving a great start to the day. The taste and preparation could definitely be improved.
Overall, the stay was pleasant, but attention to these details would significantly enhance the guest experience.

Il personale è stato eccellente - soprattutto Sneha M. che aiuta gli ospiti nel lobby e offre soluzioni rapide ed efficaci, e anche un altro Sneha che lavora al ristorante.
La musica 🎶 nel ristorante è la peggiore che abbia mai sentito in un hotel in India.
Sono due tipi di musica (tradizionale indiana e anche occidentale) che vengono giocate contemporaneamente!
E' ridicolo e irritante e troppo alto, per questo alcuni dei dipendenti sembrano miserabili.
Il cuoco andava in giro per la sala da pranzo, scambiando piaceri con gli ospiti, ma doveva essere in cucina per controllare quello che c'è.
Il ”chai masala” non aveva gusto di ginger e il latte era così bruciato che continuava a vaporizzare per un'ora (era imbevuto, quindi l'ho restituito).

Le camere sono ciò che si aspetta di trovare in un hotel che è stato considerato lussuoso negli anni '90.
Purtroppo, il sistema di condizionamento dell'aria è ancora l'originale e non può più essere regolato (solo può essere commutato o spostato).
