Hotel in zona Zürich Altstetten, Zurigo

Sono rimasto qui con mia moglie per una notte. Arriviamo all'hotel alle 22:00 e il ricevitore mi ha informato che aveva cercato di contattarmi, come ha detto che lavorano solo solitamente fino alle 22:00. È vero che hanno cercato di contattarmi quando ho avuto una chiamata mancante e dopo aver connesso con il wi-fi dell'hotel, ho trovato un'e-mail dall'hotel chiedendomi quando sarei arrivato mentre lavorano solo fino alle 22:00. In generale, mi aspetto che le reception dell'hotel funzionino 24 ore su 24. Forse, quando ho prenotato l'hotel, ho perso le informazioni circa l'arrivo non oltre le 22:00. Mi chiedo cosa sarebbe successo se, per esempio, avessimo arrivato un'ora dopo. Ho contattato l'hotel per posta elettronica qualche settimana prima chiedendo una stanza lontana dalla chiesa e per essere un membro di Platino, mi è stato detto che sarei stato migliorato, che sono stato così apprezzato. Nonostante fosse in una stanza migliorata, era molto piccola e di base. Temevo pensare a come sono le stanze standard. Non c'era A/C nella stanza, quindi dovevamo fare con un piatto in fan. Il piatto non era per me, ma finalmente riuscivo a dormire. La struttura è stata molto confortevole, la posizione è stata buona, perché è a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria Zurich Altstetten, c'è un tram dall'esterno dell'hotel che va al centro della città. Tuttavia, non mi sentivo come se avessi un valore per i soldi. L'hotel è troppo costoso, ma capisco naturalmente che Zurigo è una città costosa in un paese costoso. Era sufficiente per una notte.

Questo hotel si trova nelle vicinanze occidentali di Zurigo, in una zona residenziale tranquilla. In un giorno, ci sono tre siti di costruzione occupati intorno all'hotel, uno al momento della scrittura in corso di demolizione. La finestra di pianoforte si occupa di un intero muro della stanza aperta su una grande terrazza (la mia stanza era sul piano superiore). Dovrebbe essere grande per godersi la balmizia di Zurigo di mezza estate, ma poco un bene in ritardo di caduta (eccetto per i fumatori). La porta di vetro che si apre sulla terrazza è grande, non è punta e non è adatta per l’aria condizionata. Ho trovato il letto sul lato povero, stretto e con una materassi che si è tenuta a scivolare fuori dalla sua base di scatola. La cucina, invece, era quanto buona a ricevere, sicuramente un bene. La luce del letto non era adatta per leggere nel letto. La camera da bagno era praticamente buona, ma il cubico di doccia era un po’ stretto nel mio tappeto e il lavabo aveva una dimensione XS. Il guardaroba è così diviso che la sezione più lunga è troppo breve per appendere un cappotto. Una piccola tavola di lavoro è messa in un nido con l'utente bloccando sia la luce del giorno che la luce dalla lampada massima. Non c'è alcuna fonte di luce nel nido giusto. Poiché questo è un hotel apartamentale, c'è una cucina con un piccolo frigo, due piastrelle calde e una microonde. Per l'uso di cucina, piastrelle e tazze, c'è un onere giornaliero che aggiunge fino al 25% del tasso di camera. Il tasso che ho ottenuto era tutto a posto, ma solo circa, quindi non c'è spaghetti cucinati a casa per me. La microonde, pur essendo stata grande per il riscaldamento di cibi pronti ottenuti dal supermercato in strada. In tutto, sembra un accordo equo.

Ottima posizione. Nonostante il quartiere relativamente frequentato (anche per la vita notturna), il posto è tranquillo. Camere arredate in modo moderno, con il necessario. Non usate il bar della camera che è tutto carissimo. Posteggio coperto disponibile a un prezzo conveniente. Non ho fatto colazione qui, in quanto il posto mi sembrava un po’ triste, rispetto a tutto quello che si può trovare a due passi. Prezzo ottimo. Ovvio che chi cerca un servizio dove ti riveriscono, deve andare altrove. Qui sono cortesi, ma lo stile si avvicina più al self-service.

CLEANLINESS: General overview was fine, nothing special to say STAFF: Met a lady who was kind and calm, got my check in and invoice quite quickly CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT: 10 min check and just left the key to a person in the morning at the breakfast area for my check out since nobody at the desk HALL: Small, clean, nothing special to say. HOTEL LOCATION: 300 away from Schlieren railway station and 7 km away from Zurich city centre. SUPERMARKETS NEAR HOTEL: Several ones near the hotel ROOM EVALUATION Room size: standard size for Swiss criteria, enough big Cleanliness: That is a key topic for me to give a score to an hotel. Room was very clean, simple but well organized as spaces. Bed: Large one, quite comfortable, king size Pillows: Available both soft and hard pillows. Bathroom: Very clean, good shower, provided with soaps and hair products Slippers: Not provided Bathrobe: Not provided Soaps/Cosmetics: Provided Hairdryer: Provided Unpleasant smells: No unpleasant smells Soundproofing: Poor, I got a room ground floor in front of hotel parking WIFI: Free of charge in the room as well in the hotel. Connection speed was average and stable. I did not have any problem to connect all my devices. TV: Good one, Samsung last generation. Air conditioning/heating system: Working well, did not have any problem. Wardrobe: very small one but enough for 1 person and small luggage Mini-bar: No mini-bar Key/Card: Key working well, no problem opening the door FACILITIES OF MY INTEREST Parking: Hotel does provide this service but I did not use it Shuttle to Airport service: Hotel does not provide this service. Gym/SPA: No gym or SPA BREAKFAST: I did not use it since, in Switzerland better to pay for what you eat GREEN ASPECTS: I did not notice anything. COVID PROCEDURES: Just a glass at the desk. PROBLEMS AND DISSERVICES: Nothing special to notice. It is a basic solution, good ones if you work in Schlieren area or you want to stay close to Zurich getting more affordable prices since prices in Zurich area are quite high for hotels. If do not have too much expectations and you look for an hotel where to sleep that is clean and not too much expensive this is a good compromise.

L'hotel è stato molto piacevole, fabian e tutti i funzionari del front desk dove ci hanno fatto sentire così benvenuti. E' molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e a piedi dalla città antica. La colazione era anche buona nel salone M e la vista dalla nostra suite junior era sorprendente. La nostra unica denuncia è la situazione dell'ascensore. Ci siamo quasi persi il volo perché ci ci hanno volato 30 minuti per scendere. Solo 2 ascensori su 3 dove lavoravamo il giorno in cui andavamo. Altrimenti, è un ottimo hotel!

Spesso per lavoro a Zurigo (Oerlikon) ho abbandonato gli hotel cui ero avvezzo per abbracciare ACASA Suites e la sua filosofia, elegante, young e easy going. Un hotel recente e ben organizzato, dove non mancano una piccola e completa palestra, sauna e bagno turco, oltre che il gusto Nespresso in camera. Ottima location, comoda ai mezzi e dotata di parcheggio, è un luogo ben curato e sempre pulitissimo, elegante e accogliente, con quel tocco in più di simpatia e attenzione dell'intero team che rende il soggiorno perfetto. Si viene impeccabilmente accolti dal sorriso di Eugene o della collega con cui si alterna in reception, per poi lasciarsi coinvolgere dalla simpatia di chi vi accompagnerà al ristorante, Elisabetta. Sempre impeccabile nel mettervi a vostro agio quando vi accomodate, può essere discreta e rispettare la vostra privacy o capace di intrattenervi mentre la Chef de cuisine realizza piatti fantastici anche fuori programma o oltre orario. La simpatia di Marina e quel quid in più tutto italiano emergono già alla vista delle sue composizioni, preludio di sapori a cui sarà poi bello abbandonarsi. Meraviglioso anche il sorriso che viene sempre regalato da chi ti accoglie all'inizio della giornata, mentre ti accosti alla colazione. Proprio bravi !

I have spent 18 days working from JOYN Zurich so think this should be a fairly accurate review of my experience. For context, JOYN is new so may still be working through teething issues, but hopefully this is useful feedback. Pros; - Comfortable, well equipped rooms. I was in one of the largest apartments they offer and it is a good space to spend a lot of time - The kitchenette whilst small is workable and has most of what you'd need - Well located close to the airport and about 25 mins by tram to central Zurich - Nice bathroom and good shower pressure - Gym is good with nice new equipment - Very close to great supermarkets (Coop and Migros next door) - The communal spaces are lovely, including the central courtyard and roof gardens - Strong water pressure from the shower (although the drain didn't seem to be able to cope with the volume of water which meant potential overflowing of the shower unless carefully managed) - The room has a small dishwasher. There were two dishwasher tablets provided and these weren't topped up by the cleaners, meaning you'll need to buy more Unfortunately the cons are pretty significant though, particularly if you want to work from here; Cons - The wifi is atrocious. At best the speeds hover around 1mbps which isn't good enough for stable whatsapp or facetime calls, let alone Teams or Zoom work calls. I thought this may have been my room but is pretty much my experience in all the open spaces including the ground floor communal spaces (see screenshot from Speedtest). This makes it unsuitable for any work. - The cleaning services are a bare minimum. After one week they changed my linen and towels but didn't vacuum, sweep the floor, empty bins or clean the bathroom. After another 7 days they'd hadn't come to clean again and when prompted they said it would be cleaned that day (but it wasn't). On the 8th day I asked and again they promised to have it cleaned. Whilst I wouldn't mind cleaning myself, there is no vacuum cleaner, cleaning cloths or anything else in the room to clean with, so unless you want to buy your own, be prepared for it to get pretty dusty and the bathroom to get dirty. Cleaning also didn't include replacing the kitchen towels so you'll have to wash these yourself if you're staying for an extended period. - Other than the supermarkets nearby there is pretty much nothing else around Perhaps they're not used to guests having longer stays, but with cleaning services like this, it will become pretty horrible unless guests buy the cleaning products and do it themselves.

I was plagued with trepidation before staying at the Swiss Star California. I had read some negative comments on Google Maps and trip.com, and the dread of what might go wrong loomed heavy over me. However, as fate would have it, my fears were unwarranted - the hotel, or rather, the service apartment, turned out to be a pleasant surprise and surpassed my expectations. The room was clean, well-equipped, and not too shabby. The heater functioned perfectly, which was a relief since it was a frosty February in Zurich. They had everything one would expect from a basic hotel room. But here's a word of caution: after booking your stay, make sure to check your email. You will receive a message from the hotel, not just a confirmation, containing the passcode and room number. Without this information, you might find yourself stranded outside the door, with no one to receive your calls or help with check-in. Trust me; I know how it feels to be left out in the cold, frantically seeking assistance from Trip.com. Furthermore, if you have a lot of luggage, you may want to pray for a room on the ground or first floor. Unfortunately, there is no lift in the building. However, let's not forget that this is one of the most affordable places to stay in Zurich. With that in mind, who could realistically expect luxury amenities and top-notch service? All in all, Swiss Star California proved to be a pleasant surprise and an excellent value for the price.

Abbiamo trascorso 10 giorni all'Hotel Conti . Il personale era molto amichevole. Soprattutto Diego ci ha aiutati molto in tutti i nostri problemi. La colazione era sufficiente e deliziosa. La nostra camera era molto luminosa e tranquilla, anche se era vicino alla linea ferroviaria. La nostra camera è stata pulita ogni giorno. Vorrei aver saputo che hanno camere da noleggio mensili.

Hotel bello, pulito e moderno. Ha un bus navetta gratuito dall'aeroporto dal Terminal 2 vicino alla linea dei taxi. C'è un programma elettronico lì. 8 euro per la navetta per l'aeroporto e assicurati di effettuare una prenotazione. Buona selezione gratuita per la colazione. Ha uno staff ben addestrato e amichevole.
