The private onsen & public one are both very nice! Feel relaxed after using them. Tried dinner (a la carte) at 2/f restaurant. Can tell that their chef is very professional & even clam soup,  fried veggie & avo burdock roll taste so good. Breakfast is so-so. Too many carbs & sweet stuff (& not many protein to choose from). Moreover, steamed sweet potatoes & veggie are cold & some with sour taste - so assume they are not fresh or over-cooked. But overall very positive experience & will find time to visit again.

The room is very spacious with Japanese style of sitting area of chit chat. The private hot spring inside the room is cool as well as the outdoor public hot spring is a different experience. Do take note to bring along your swimming costume to enter the outdoor public. The amenities in the hotel is nice and clean. There isn’t much choice for dinner at the hotel as there is only 1 Japanese restaurant serving the food. The food is slightly on the high side but the taste is delicious. The breakfast area is decent with many variety of food. There is a convenience store nearby which require about 15 mins walk downhill and it’s pretty dark especially at night. Good for staying to enjoy the hot spring and pamper yourself.

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was a little dated but comfortable and clean. Loved the spa facitities.

My extended stat… nice hot spring outdoor facilities and good private hot spring pool in room .. very enjoyable 3 days 2 nights stay ! Greatly recommended with the hrly shuttle bus service !!!

Nice room with very good surrounding. Facilities are good and with beautiful view. There is also a shuttle bus to and from Xinbeitou station which makes travelling to and from the hotel easy. Bus schedule attached for reference. Service of staff in the hotel is also very good which made us feel very welcomed.

Good hotel stay. Staying at the hotel makes it quite convenient to enjoy the hot springs. Each room has its own private bath tub with hot spring water. I liked the breakfast buffet options. They have light meal options for vegetarians such as congee and salad. All the food items are clearly labeled so it's easy for me to know what I can eat as a vegetarian. I think the staff might be overworked due to the large volume of day hot spring visitors. Maybe management should have more manpower planned so the current staff are not exhausted. The shuttle bus makes it easy to get around as the hotel is quite a way from the train station.

Second time here. The 1st time was more than 10 years ago. Friendly staff and good private hot spring bath tub. The room is clean. The shuttle bus is on time. However, the hotel needs some renovation to keep it a 5 star hotel standards, as the room is quite old and the lift only had one side buttons working (the disabled side buttons don’t work).

Old yet well maintained. Check in was a breeze, reception lady was very friendly and allowed for early check in at about 2.15pm as our room is ready. We were also given free upgrade yay! Breakfast is basic, nothing to shout about. Free shuttle to and from Beitou and Xinbeitou stations definitely great, just need to refer to shuttle schedule and be at the designated waiting spot at the stations. For shuttle from hotel to station though, you will need to reserve first.

Excellent hotel with multiple hot spring pools with different temperatures. Clean room and friendly staff.

Staff is very helpful and the room is clean and neat. The view of the room is pretty nice.

We enjoy the hot spring in the room but didn't bring swim suit to try the hot spring outdoor. Breakfast has limited variety.

Affordable for a hot spring resort in that area. Breakfast is commendable.
