Trova hotel a 5 stelle a Sydney

We were greeted by a very friendly asian man receptionist even if we arrived too early. We had marvelous time following his suggestion to look around close market. The hotel is very luxurious & clean. Located close to all the great attractions as well as the airport. Especially, the fast checkout option was very convenient. Wish they had postcards with historic information about this hotel and if I could have sent postcards to my family back in Korea since this hotel is a historic place(post office building). I'm looking forward to coming back to Sydney and staying here again and exploring other branches around the world.

The location is really central and convenient for shopping and access to the main attractions in Sydney. The food from the restaurant was excellent, and prices are reasonable. The buffet breakfast was also good, but could be better with slightly more variation, especially since we stayed for 5 nights. Our room was booked for 3 people, but we were only provided with two towels and no extra pillow. Additionally, the glass windows could be cleaner.

La struttura è molto buona, ma un po' costosa per l'hotel. Non è molto sicuro di essere un hotel a cinque stelle, perché ho soggiornato in molti hotel in Asia e Medio Oriente. Il buffet per colazione non era in grado di rispettare i miei standard.L'ordine di omelette è preso in privato dal cameriere piuttosto che vedere la vostra omelette e così via.La varietà di pasticceria era buona.Non c'era una stazione ufficiale di caffè quando l'ordine è preso all'arrivo. Buona questa era che i bambini al di sotto dei 12 sono liberi.

I frequently stay in hotels in Sydney, and this has been the worst experience. First, I booked a twin room, but when I arrived at 5 p.m., they gave me a double room. When I went downstairs to request a change, they said I had to wait. After complaining, they finally gave me a twin room, but it was the smallest twin bed I’ve ever seen in all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Sydney. The next morning, when I left, I forgot to take a T-shirt that was hanging in the wardrobe. I called the hotel the same day to ask about it and was told to wait. After waiting for a whole day, I called again, and the security team said they couldn’t find it from their database. How ridiculous it is! Overall, I will never stay at this hotel again!

In termini di scena e di attrazioni, questo hotel è perfetto. Ho prenotato una stanza di alto livello con vista Habour, in modo da poter guardare i fuochi d'artificio mentre sto godendo di champagne nella mia stanza. Questa è stata una esperienza di topnotch. Tuttavia, la pulizia lascia molto da desiderare. La grande finestra ha tinture notabili che influiscono molto sulla vista. Il bagno è mal progettato per far sì che il coperchio non possa mai stare in piedi. Le ali sono in tutto il lavabo che è irritante!

Il servizio era buono e attento. Arriviamo presto al mattino e la ricezione mi ha offerto di mandare un lavastoviglie una volta che la mia stanza era pronta e i miei bagagli erano già in attesa. La posizione è vicino a circolare Quey e a una breve passeggiata alla casa dell'opera. Il personale vi rende molto benvenuti. Credo che mi hanno pagato 20 dollari per un bicchiere di ghiaccio che ho chiesto, perché il loro frigorifero nel minibar non era abbastanza freddo per raffreddare le mie bevande, ho solo visto che sul mio biglietto di credito dopo aver controllato, che era inaspettato ma bene, Non posso essere disturbato a sfidare, perché è stato un piacevole soggiorno comunque.

L'hotel è facilmente accessibile dalla stazione ferroviaria (come è un po' in basso). Il personale, dal suo ampio sorriso al personale di check-in, è amichevole, professionale e semplicemente un piacere di interagire con. Le camere sono ben progettate, le camere sono assolutamente senza spazi e il letto è molto confortevole. La colazione è buona, ma poche opzioni asiatiche sono disponibili. Va notato che le mappe di Google non sono vere sul fatto che questa parte di Sydney è ”molto piatto” ... così le scarpe da camminare sono un MUST perché l'hotel è così vicino a un certo numero di meravigliosi luoghi per vedere, esplorare e godere di un pasto.

My first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3. The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”. Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review. 1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels. 2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative. 3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious. 4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable. Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

Best place to stay in Sydney every popular location is easy to access and room are so nice and clean staff were so nice too

There are a lot of things to like about The Porterhouse. The hotel was newly renovated. It’s a modern property with good technology- eg there is one in room tablet that controls everything. TV. Aircon. Do not disturb etc etc. In room housekeeping was done well- everyday we returned to a clean and tidied room. Bed well made and fresh towels. There was one day the cleaner forgot to empty one bin. But that was minor. Inclusive a la carte bfast was also tasty. Service can be a bit slow, food can take a while to come out when the bfast room is full, but we expected that and no issue to us. If there is one minor thing that can be improved upon- I’d suggest pls clean your open area carpets and corridors more frequently. Our floor’s corridor wasn’t cleaned for 4-5 days in a row (there was a cotton bud outside our room on the carpet for 5 days and it wasn’t picked up. Hence we knew no one was cleaning the carpet there). The 3rd floor corridor does start to smell stale/mouldy becos it wasn’t cleaned frequently.
