UUtente ospiteMy first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3.
The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”.
Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review.
1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels.
2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative.
3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious.
4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable.
Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

DDenne GohHo soggiornato 5 notti al Little National Hotel Sydney e nel complesso è stata un'esperienza positiva. È estremamente comodo e a misura di singaporiano: la posizione è fantastica, letteralmente accanto alla metropolitana, a pochi passi da Westfield per lo shopping e vicinissimo a Darling Harbour. Inoltre, il personale è sempre stato cortese e professionale, rendendo il soggiorno piacevole e senza intoppi. L'unica vera pecca, e per me non è da poco, è che per un hotel che costa oltre 200 dollari a notte, non dovrei essere costretto ad andare in palestra ogni giorno solo per riempire la mia bottiglia d'acqua: hanno chiaramente spazio nella hall degli ascensori (abbastanza per mettere un divano), quindi installare un distributore d'acqua su ogni piano migliorerebbe notevolmente l'esperienza. Nel complesso un ottimo soggiorno, ma questo problema dell'acqua è qualcosa che dovrebbero seriamente prendere in considerazione di risolvere.

I recently stayed in a One Bedroom King Suite at Meriton Suites Mascot Central for a few days in early February. We booked during a quieter period, which meant we scored a very decent price for such a spacious and well-equipped apartment – highly recommend checking for off-peak deals if you’re flexible with dates.
The standout feature for us was undoubtedly the location. It’s incredibly convenient, with Mascot Station just a short walk away for easy access to public transport (a quick train ride to the Sydney CBD or airport). The surrounding area is packed with great restaurants, cafes, and a supermarket right in the Meriton Retail Precinct – perfect for grabbing meals or essentials without venturing far.
The suite itself was modern, comfortable, and spotless. The king bed was excellent – we slept really well every night, which made the trip feel relaxing and enjoyable. The facilities (indoor pool, gym, and other amenities) added a nice touch, though we didn’t use them extensively.
Service was generally okay, though not exceptional. We had to proactively request a few extra amenities, and the staff seemed a bit reluctant or slow to deliver them at times. Also worth noting: our booking didn’t include daily housekeeping (which we only realised after check-in). For a short stay of just a few days, it wasn’t a big issue and was still manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re planning a longer visit.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable experience in a practical, well-positioned spot near the airport and city. The comfort, sleep quality, and accessibility outweighed the minor service hiccups. We’d happily book here again in the future – great value for Sydney!

AAkhil655The property is located very close to the airport, which made travelling very convenient. We stayed for 2 nights and had a comfortable experience overall. There were not many eateries nearby, but the hotel’s location near the highway made it easy to travel to different outing and sightseeing areas around Sydney. The Mascot railway station train line is also very close by, which is an added advantage for public transport access. However, you would still need a vehicle to travel around comfortably.

La stanza era spaziosa e disponeva di buone strutture, come caldaia, caffè, lavastoviglie, ecc. Alcuni aspetti della stanza avrebbero bisogno di un po' di aggiornamento, perché si può vedere che non è più di nuovo.
La sauna, la piscina e il jacuzzi erano bellissimi, ma il jacuzzi non lavorava sempre e non aveva luce di lavoro la sera.
In generale, bellissimo hotel, il personale era amichevole - ci rimarremmo :).

UUtente anonimoOttimo luogo. Più vicino a tutto. Personale amichevole. Buona stanza di dimensioni.Abbiamo prenotato una stanza superiore con due letti grandi. Facile da adattare alla nostra famiglia di due adulti e due bambini.
La manutenzione delle case potrebbe essere migliorata. La stanza è pulita in generale, ma non presta attenzione ai dettagli. Ad esempio, alcune superfici sono polverizzate. Il carpetto può essere fatto con un accurato vuoto. I bagni usati possono essere appeso o piegato. Non è semplicemente lasciato sul sedile piegato.

PpornphunWe had a brilliant experience at the Langham for our wedding anniversary! I forgot how much I like the Langham brand. From the pink ribbon around the toilet paper to the sleep ammenities (we asked for the sleep pillow mist and the room diffuser) to the suggested third eye massage technique and the chamomile tea before bedtime, we felt totally pampered and taken care of. Reservation was made for our celebratory dinner with fine steak dinner over the fantastic view of the Opera House. In room breakfast was delivered on time and the quantity copious. The Spanish bell boy was helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded to a harbour view room to our delight. Location was convenient to walk either to Barangaroo or the Rocks, for ferry ride or metro. Very pleased to have chosen The Langham, it was absolutely the right decision for us!

On the water, just far enough away from the busy CBD yet you can walk there for shopping, beautiful walks around the point and through the gardens, all staff provided fabulous service, incredible wharf converted into modern hotel, loved the brekkie too.
