L'hotel era accettabile, ma la vista non era come la pubblicità. Prenotiamo una stanza con una vista del porto di Darling e pagavano un'altra per la stessa, ma nessuno ha detto che c'era costruzione che avveniva direttamente davanti al nostro balcone. Se vuoi una stanza con vista, non consiglio questo hotel.

I had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. We chose this hotel for its location. Just step outside and you can hop on a tram to head down to Circular Quay or up towards Broadway. Great view from room too. The hotel was very clean; the foyer, the elevators, the hallways and the room. The extra bed for our teenager was very uncomfortable and certainly not worth the quoted $110 per night. We had to ask for extra towels/cup/glassware as there were three of us in the room. The main bed was comfortable but one of the legs/wheels was broken. The main television in the room did not work at all for the first 24 hours of our stay due to a ”global network failure”. It was only after this was fixed that we were able to discover the amenities/facilities offered by the hotel. Complimentary water bottles were only replenished once in a three-night stay, and used glasses were not always replaced/washed by housekeeping. The staff were pleasant enough but I expected a better overall experience staying at Hilton Sydney.

Amore la posizione e un ottimo servizio a Marriot. Sembrano essere 1 passo avanti di quello che i clienti hanno bisogno. Il personale è sorprendente nel aiutare i clienti. Hotel is located a short walk away from Town Hall station, so it was really convenient to get to places. The hotel room was clean and spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Check in and check out was really smooth and fast too. Their food ordered via room service was good too. The only thing I thought could be better was the variation of food served at the breakfast buffet. But anyway, I enjoyed my stay at ParkRoyal and will choose this hotel again next time! (:

Viaggi d'affari e familiari. Viviamo nella parte occidentale di Sydney e abbiamo deciso di passare una serata fuori in città con qualche famiglia. Il mio partner lavora in città, quindi la posizione dell'hotel è comoda per l'ufficio e tutti gli altri negozi e ristoranti principali. Praticamente tutto a portata di mano. La nostra camera era pronta entro le 12 di sera, quindi io e mia figlia abbiamo potuto fare il check-in, il che era utile per poter lasciare i bagagli. Per noi è stata la prima volta in assoluto ad avere un minibar gratuito rifornito con le bevande che ci piacciono, quindi ne abbiamo approfittato appieno! È stata una bella sorpresa, grazie Grace Hotel! Abbiamo prenotato una camera con 2 letti matrimoniali in modo da poterli unire in modo da avere un letto grande da condividere con il piccolo che dorme in mezzo a noi. Semplicemente più facile che usare una culla. Direi che è più a suo agio. Se fossimo rimasti più a lungo avremmo utilizzato gli accappatoi, le pantofole e la sala da pranzo. La camera era pulita, ma il porto USB nella camera da letto non funzionava, l'orologio di allarme non era stato impostato e aveva un buzz estremamente annoiante, e quindi dovevo sbloccarlo comunque. Le direzioni del parcheggio erano estremamente povere, non menzionando l'uso di ascensore o cosa aspettarsi, e ho suggerito che si potesse fare un volante per rispondere a qualsiasi domanda per i clienti che hanno bisogno di utilizzare il servizio di parcheggio. Non c'era molto da fare per il personale, e non potevano che ripetere le informazioni scarse già fornite, e mi sentivo come un numero e non un cliente pagatore. Sembra che non vi sia alcuna attenzione per i dettagli, e questo scenderebbe dal personale di gestione al personale di pavimento.

The hotel is very convenient located near the opera house. The service is great and the rooms are quite large. It is a luxury hotel but the furniture is a little dated the hotel could use a make-over, though the rooms were clean. Breakfast was disappointing for the price, every day the same and just not what I would expect for the price paid.
