Hotel 5 stelle a Taipei

Eslite hotel.... what can I say? It was a fantastic stay at this hotel. Our family left and already wanted to come back to stay. The location is tops 5/5 if you are in to design and creative environment - being right next to the Songshan Cultural and Creative district and a 24hour Eslite Spectrum next door! What more can one ask for?!! It was a total treat to stay here for 2 nights and it isn't enough. A point to note - there is not hotel swimming pool but there is a 24h gym, though it is a simple set up. There could have been more free weights. We had a surprise, a complimentary room upgrade to a larger one so the photos are what we stayed in and not what we booked (double deluxe room). This room was super well-appointed. The little design details and the spaciousness was perfect for our family of 3. We felt so at home and comfortable that we lounged in the room so much instead of going out. Most notably, the hotel lobby is designed to feel like a living room / reading room with extensive book collection which you can request to borrow up to your room. Every Thursday and Saturday, there is a happy hour for guests and free flow of beverages (alcoholic and non) and finger snacks. We enjoyed this little treat very much! I highly recommend Eslite hotel. We will be back!

Everything is great, except breakfast little choice. I left my shower gel in room 1007. Please ask the hotel to keep it. I am coming back tomorrow night to get it. Thank yo

Very good and sizable room. The decor is a bit dated but the overall experience is great. Special thanks to Jenny and the valet staff for helping us make restaurant reservations and communicate with the taxi who tried to overcharged us.

La posizione era ottima, proprio nel cuore di Taipei, e la pulizia generale era eccellente! Ho potuto viaggiare comodamente anche durante la gravidanza. La piscina era piccola, ma confortevole, e la qualità dell'acqua sembrava essere mantenuta costante ogni ora. Era anche bello che non ci fosse l'odore chimico tipico delle piscine.

Sono estremamente soddisfatto della mia esperienza complessiva all'Hotel Royal Beitou. La posizione dell'hotel è splendida, convenientemente vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e diverse attrazioni turistiche, rendendolo una scelta ideale per i viaggiatori. Il prezzo è anche molto ragionevole, offrendo un grande valore per la qualità del servizio e delle attrezzature fornite. La stanza era senza spazi e ben mantenuta, dotata di una vasta gamma di strutture e di servizi che soddisfavano tutte le mie esigenze. Apprezzo anche le sofisticate aggiustamenti come candele spezzate, un sistema audio, un deumidificatore, un snack e bevande uniche. L'unica questione minore è che la connessione Internet della TV era sbagliata, che mi ha impedito di guardare qualsiasi programma. Il servizio offerto dal personale dell'hotel è stato eccezionale, amichevole, professionale e attento, assicurando che ogni aspetto della mia permanenza fosse confortevole e piacevole. Dopo l'ispezione, hanno preso il tempo di introdurre in dettaglio tutte le strutture della stanza, che è stato molto utile. Il colazione offerto dall'hotel è stato delizioso, con una vasta gamma di opzioni da scegliere, la catering a diversi gusti e preferenze. In generale, il mio soggiorno all'Hotel Royal Beitou è stata un'esperienza piacevole, grazie alla sua posizione migliore, alle camere ben designate e al servizio eccellente. Raccomanderò molto a tutti gli amici questo hotel e mi riferirei certamente a restare qui per il mio prossimo viaggio a Beitou per un sollievo caldo di primavera.

1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Mi è piaciuto molto vicino a Ximending e alla stazione MRT, il servizio di pulizia è stato eccellente e l'ambiente è stato pulito. Una cosa è che la palestra era un po' insostenuta e aveva attrezzature rustiche, tutto il resto era perfetto, ecco! Mi piacevano soprattutto il bagno e i letti confortevoli. A questo hotel vorrei consigliare ai viaggiatori che cercano un soggiorno confortevole vicino al giù di fiori!

Solo in fondo era il telaio con tinture di vetro e la stanza è leggermente polverosa quando siamo arrivati. Il giorno dopo abbiamo chiesto al servizio della stanza di pulire il giorno dopo, ma le stoffe di tappeto erano ancora là, ma credo che fossero principalmente di pittura mobiliare. Ciò che conta è che le pareti non hanno forma, il bagno e il letto sono molto puliti. La posizione è grande e a circa 8 minuti a piedi da MRT.

Excellent location. Without going outdoor, we can access to MRT, airport train, and the underground shopping arcade which links up different stations.  My request for room in upper floor and not at the end of corridor were acceded to, and our room has excellent view of Taipei station. Staff are friendly and communicate well in English. Will book this hotel if visit Taipei again.
