"Our stay at this hotel was wonderful from start to almost the very end….. and because of the last encounter I would unfortunately leave it as 3/5.
The room was spacious and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We especially loved having a balcony with a tub on it, which made for such a relaxing experience. The outdoor pool was beautiful and refreshing, and having on-site laundry facilities was a huge convenience. Aspecial highlight was the Russian-speaking translator, who was incredibly helpful and even assisted us in booking a buffet dinner and another hotel, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Throughout most of our stay, the service and amenities were truly excellent.
Unfortunately, our experience took a disappointing turn on the last day. The day before checkout, we were OFFERED a late checkout. When we asked if there was a charge, the staff said it was free—but only if we left a good review. Since I was already planning to leave a positive review, I agreed. However, on checkout day, things became uncomfortable. Around noon, we received a WeChat message saying our keys needed to be exchanged because they would soon stop working. A staff member brought us new keys and a couple of complimentary drinks, but then insisted that I write a positive review on the spot. I explained that we needed to pack and would write it later, but she stayed for about 15 minutes, pressuring me to post the review immediately. I repeatedly said I felt uncomfortable and pressured, which completely undermined the goodwill from the rest of our stay. After she left, the hotel continued to send apologetic messages, offering various gifts—a toy, a candle, even a complimentary afternoon tea—to make up for the encounter, but by that point it felt more like a trap than a genuine apology. This incident unfortunately spoiled an otherwise fantastic stay. Everything else about the hotel was truly excellent, but this aggressive push for a review left a very negative final impression. I hope management addresses this issue so that future guests can leave with only the positive memories this property is otherwise capable of providing."
