DDima RezanovWe stayed in the capsule-style cottages and overall had a very good experience.
Pros:
1. Beautiful hotel with a well-maintained and attractive territory.
2. Easy and smooth check-in and access.
3. The cottages are located separately from the main building (about 500 meters away), creating a quiet and private atmosphere.
4. Rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and cozy, with fully working amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a projector.
5. Option to choose between a cottage with a jacuzzi or a private pool.
6. Very pet-friendly policy — pets are allowed with no extra charge or deposit.
7. BBQ facilities available; guests can use a grill, and the hotel can also provide one.
8. Convenience store in the main building with drinks and basic daily items.
9. Underground parking with EV charging stations, plus additional parking near the cottages.
10. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise — very diverse, with a mix of Chinese dishes and almost European-style options. Everything was tasty and plentiful, and there was a wide selection.
11. Guests can also take food in a lunch box to go, which is a great and very convenient option.
Cons:
1. EV charging infrastructure can be inconvenient at times, as the number of stations is limited and they may be occupied during busy periods, especially on weekends.
2. Food delivery is not available directly to the cottages — guests need to go to the main building to pick up orders from the restaurant. For us this was not an issue at all, but for some guests it might feel a bit less convenient, especially in bad weather or at night.
Overall:
A modern, comfortable, and quiet stay with excellent facilities and a very pet-friendly policy. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast and overall experience, and we will definitely come back again. A great hotel overall.

UUtente ospiteI'm an American here in China studying kung fu for the year and took a trip to Jinan for a short weekend getaway to unwind a bit. I really enjoyed the Atour Light hotel! It's my second time staying in an Atour hotel and I have once again been left wanting for nothing. My Chinese is actually atrocious but the front desk staff was helpful and kind. The room was clean and, I must say, I generally really hate bathrooms and need to wear a pair of slippers just to enter the facility but this has not been the case at either of the Atour hotels I've stayed at. The ambience is great, the amenities perfect for what I was looking for, and the location beyond excellent. Local food stops right outside the gate of the hotel and, if you're a westerner looking for something familiar, McDonald's is right around the corner too. No need for that though, the local feed hits the spot. All that to say, I have no complaints. Great service, great room, great location. 10/10 recommend.

MMasalHKRooms: Good size room, 6/F partly refurbished (especially electrics, carpets), 4/F not done. They have an executive lounge but it is just a lounge, no benefits that you get in other hotels.
Facilities: 2/F has pool tables, table tennis, card/mahjong rooms, gym; Floor B1 has a huge pool. All quite busy as they allow members of the public to pay to use.
Breakfast: Good, some western options. RMB40/pax at hotel.
Location: Perfect. easy walk to Daming Lake, Kuanhouli, Black Tiger Spring, shops. It is on the route of the Tourist shuttle bus which costs RMB5/day and goes to all the main sites. Frequent at weekends, less so weekdays.
Restaurants: Lots around hotel. South to malls on Quancheng Road where there are lots of all you can eat hotpot and BBQ. Also south to Kuanhouli, the snack street and some good restaurants (Huixian Floor Restaurant). North is the famous Shandong restaurant: Kui Sheng Ju. There was always a queue so we went to a similar restaurant across the street from it. Also next to it is the Jia Chuan Min Guangzhou restaurant which is excellent.
Service: We had a problem with the shower on 6/F as water pressure was very low or just cut out altogether. Initially we asked the front desk staff to sort it out but not much happened. Then asked the duty manager and he was very helpful and moved us to a suite on the 4/F. So if you have a problem, make sure you ask for some one in authority and the service will be excellent.
Language: Mandarin only
Will defintely consider again if we return to Jinan.

It is convenient. It is near the metro station. There are some local fast-food outlets. We have breakfast and snacks during our stay at these cafes or stores next to the hotel. There is a 24-hour store next to the hotel. Our hotel stay did not include breakfast.
Cleanliness: This hotel group maintains cleanliness in the bathrooms and toilets. The chair upholstery is clean, with no stains.
Comfortable: The bed is firm, and the pillion is very comfortable. The aircon is working, and hot and cold water are all working. Overall, the room colours are comfortable for resting and relaxing.
Customer Service: The front staff speak limited English. However, I am sure that in the digital age, we can use a translator app. So, therefore, not an issue. The check was easy because he provided our Trip.com booking details.
In the lobby, there are free coffee machines available to you.
The staff provided excellent service during our stay. Thanks you.

As a foreigner on a solo business trip to China, when my phone couldn't connect to the local network, it meant I had no way to pay for anything. I couldn't buy food, couldn't get around, and was completely cut off from the outside world. I was filled with a sense of helplessness being alone in a foreign land.
Upon hearing this, the hotel staff immediately contacted a nearby China Unicom service center where I could get a SIM card using my passport. The next morning, Ms. Chu Yi from the front desk, concerned about my language barrier and difficulty getting around, proactively offered to accompany me to the service center to help with the procedures. The moment my phone successfully connected to the network, what I felt was not just the restoration of a signal, but a profound sense of relief.
This warmth continued throughout my entire stay: the housekeeping staff thoughtfully prepared a power adapter in my room; the restaurant staff enthusiastically recommended delicious and agreeable dishes during my meals. From Chu Yi's exceptional initiative at the front desk to the meticulous and warm service from housekeeping and the restaurant, your actions perfectly embodied the meaning of ”a home away from home.” This transcends nationality—it's all about heartfelt care.
Jinan is a warm city, but Atour is even warmer. On all my future business trips to China, I will definitely choose to stay at Atour. I wish Atour and the wonderful Ms. Chu Yi all the best

AAndrew BeagrieThis is the fifth time we have stayed at this hotel. Every time we go to Jinan, we always come here. Location is excellent - right on the beautiful canal and a short walk to both Daming Hu and the food street. The hotel service is excellent - quick check in, any request promptly dealt with. The cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful - my wife lost her watch in the room and the cleaner took extra time to help her look and find it. We stayed in one of the hotel's newly renovated suites - great facilities and amazing view of the lake. I would definitely recommend upgrading to one of you stay. Breakfast has a wide range of tasty options - recommend the freshly made jianbing and roujiamou. The restaurant also has an excellent evening buffet - for a very reasonable price you get a great range of food including seafood, hotpot and barbecue - an drinks are included as well. Overall another fantastic stay at this hotel and looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend this place!

XXYZZEven I received a free upgrade for a night the stay was not so comfortable.
First I did not find a pick up at the Airport to the hotel. It was not possible to reach the hotel by Phone.
Second my room was far away from the elevator and the floor a deep carpet.
Third the dinner at the afternoon was 40 RMB more expensive than on the poster advertised. Most of the buffet was a typical hotpot.
The free Shuttle back to the Airport was ok, the rooms are exklusive and great, free Softdrinks, free tea and coffee… breakfast might be better.
