Questa gita popolare del lago di Mill Island mi ha davvero dato una sorpresa piena e un senso di esperienza è pieno! As an international traveler, I found communication quite difficult. The staff spoke very limited English, and even though I can communicate in Chinese, it was still difficult to understand their accent and get clear information. I often had to ask the same question several times before receiving a helpful response. Another issue was that many services were not explained properly. The hotel provides transportation to different facilities, such as the swimming pool and other attractions within the resort, but no one clearly explained how it worked. I had to figure everything out on my own, which was frustrating. The barbecue experience was also disappointing. Although the hotel provided vouchers, we still had to pay additional fees to use the barbecue area, even though we brought our own meat and ingredients. At first, the staff said there was no available space, but after repeatedly asking, they eventually arranged it. I felt the staff were not very proactive or accommodating, and guests should not have to keep insisting to receive assistance. The location is another factor to consider. The resort is quite far from the main tourist attractions around Qiandao Lake, so you should expect to spend extra time and money on taxis if you plan to explore the area. If sightseeing is your priority, I would recommend staying closer to the main attractions instead. Overall, while the rooms, cleanliness, breakfast, and facilities were good, the service significantly affected my experience. I even contacted Trip.com customer service regarding my concerns. Personally, I don’t feel the current 9.2 rating reflects the overall guest experience, mainly because of the lack of communication and customer service. If you’re a foreign traveler, especially someone who doesn’t speak Chinese, I would recommend considering other accommodation options with more international-friendly service. Overall Rating: 4/10

La stanza era spaziosa, improvvisamente pulita, e aveva tutte le attrazioni necessarie per un soggiorno confortevole. L'hotel è situato in una posizione ideale, a pochi passi dall'incredibile area del lago Qiandao (Central Lake Area), dove ho goduto di belle viste e attività all'aperto. Si trova in una posizione relativamente conveniente tra il centro e il centro turistico del lago, circa 1-1.5 km in ogni direzione. L'hotel ha un buon colazione per un piccolo prezzo con stili cinesi e occidentali. È assolutamente piacevole e lo consigliamo. L'unico svantaggio è la mancanza di mappe o materiale guida, quindi dobbiamo studiare per le nostre tour auto-guide. Sarà meglio se le carte turistiche e alcune informazioni turistiche sono postate nel lobby. In generale è un ottimo luogo per soggiornare e godere.

L'ambiente è bellissimo, sembra di essere a Erhai, Dali, con il lago Qiandao proprio di fronte e le piantagioni di tè in alto. L'esperienza di soggiorno per tutta la famiglia è stata ottima. Nel pomeriggio, con la brezza leggera, sedersi al Qingjing Meisu, godersi il vento, ammirare il lago Qiandao e scattare foto è molto piacevole. Si può anche fare paddleboard. La colazione è deliziosa e abbondante, e c'è anche un adorabile Labrador. È un hotel pet-friendly. La cosa che mi è piaciuta di più sono state le camere, con finestre a 270 gradi che si affacciano sul lago, la vista sul lago è mozzafiato. Le camere sono pulite e ordinate, e il servizio è attento e premuroso.

We chose this hotel primarily for its promise of a secluded, nature-connected experience and its on-site hot springs—a perfect antidote to busy city life. The room was warm, cozy, and wonderfully quiet. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable, ensuring great sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The best feature was the house's layout—separated from others, it felt private, secluded, and truly integrated with the natural surroundings. It was the peaceful haven we needed. The hotel territory is vast and beautifully maintained, perfect for calming walks. The dining experience was excellent: the food was tasty, presented in a clean environment, and offered a satisfying variety. Unfortunately, the main attraction became a source of stress. The culture of quiet, therapeutic relaxation expected at a hot spring was completely absent. The most visitors were behaving like they are in a public swimming pool, with yelling and kids jumping, splashing, and running around. This chaotic atmosphere made it impossible to relax or enjoy the springs' intended benefits. It felt like a disaster for anyone seeking the tranquil, restorative experience hot springs are known for. Despite the hot springs issue, our overall stay was very nice, thanks to the superb room, excellent food, and beautiful grounds. The core product—the accommodation—is outstanding. I will definitely return, but I will plan my visit for a much less busy period (perhaps weekdays or off-holidays). If you are seeking solitude and quiet, I highly recommend the rooms but advise cautious timing for the hot springs. This place has all the ingredients for a perfect retreat; you just need to find the right moment to enjoy them fully.
