"The hotel's right by the lake, but a building in front blocks a good part of the view. Still, it's super easy to get to the lake, and the sunsets are beautiful. The facilities are definitely a bit dated; the decor feels like it's from over 10 years ago. On the bright side, the room is genuinely huge, and the balcony is massive – sitting out there feeling the breeze is incredibly relaxing. The breakfast setting is lovely, especially sitting outdoors surrounded by trees; it's very chill."

"The room was great, and I even got a free upgrade. The hotel provided welcome fruit, and I was surprised to find butler service offered at this price. As a university student, this staycation was incredibly good value for money. They helped me with a late check-out and even gave us a lovely souvenir gift. On the second day, they sent up two more welcome fruit plates. Breakfast was bountiful, with freshly baked bread and mini wontons – it felt like the hotel wasn't even making a profit! The value for money is truly exceptional! Highly, highly recommend! IHG properties always have such high standards. I'll definitely be staying here frequently in the future!"

Personalmente ritengo che questa esperienza sia fantastica, anche se ho dei dubbi dopo aver letto alcune recensioni negative, ma provare per credere. Anche se volete venire qui per rilassarvi, è un'ottima scelta. Dopotutto, la felicità non si può comprare con nessuna somma di denaro. "Amazing living area. Really nice stay. Did find hairs on the bed head. Overall great service our butler helped out where she could. Pool wasn’t open even tho it was 30 degrees and very hot. And the kids weren’t aloud to have fun in the indoor pool. Kept getting told off for small jumps into the pool. Such silly rules. Our house was located a ways away from the resort, so a car is useful if you are wanting to use the resorts facilities."

Avoid crowded scenic spots and sit on the front line of Qiandao Lake Mountain and Lake. The whole family can spend a relaxing holiday easily. 🍀 The large lakeside lawn is full of 1888 ㎡, facing the beautiful scenery of the lake and mountains. The children fly kites, chase bubbles, run wildly and enjoy themselves. The swing by the lake takes a large film of parents and children. The hotel also presents a travel shooting service. The children run and play. We are paralyzed on the lounge chair and blow the lake breeze to empty the baby. 🌊 The infinity pool built on the mountain has its own shallow water area for parents and children. "I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the InterContinental Qiandao Lake. The room was absolutely stunning, and the lake view was breathtaking. One of the most special features of the room was the bathroom design — the bathtub was positioned so that you could relax while enjoying the beautiful lake scenery, which made for a truly memorable experience. The staff were polite, friendly, and always willing to help. I also loved the hotel's interior design, which features a lot of natural wood, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere throughout the property. The breakfast offered a good selection of both Western and Chinese dishes. There is also a nice local Chinese restaurant nearby where you can try the region's famous fish, which I highly recommend. The only downside was transportation. Unfortunately, I missed my train because we were unable to get a taxi for about 40 minutes. Even though I tried to arrange transportation in advance, it was still not enough. The hotel does not provide a taxi service, so I would strongly recommend allowing plenty of extra time if you need to catch a train or have a fixed schedule. Apart from that, everything was wonderful, and I had an amazing stay. I would happily return in the future ☺️"
