JJudgeJustinAfter surviving a passport control queue that felt long enough to qualify as a second flight, walking into 25Hours Hotel Zurich was pure bliss. We’d booked a Large room for our first Valentine’s weekend together, and it was a brilliant call - spacious, beautifully presented, and hitting that elusive sweet spot between ”industrial-chic” and ”actually comfortable.”
The showstopper (quite literally) was the glass shower cubicle standing proudly in the centre of the room. It’s a bold design choice that we loved, and for those who aren’t quite ready to share that much with their partner, it’s easily screened off for a bit of privacy. The free mini-bar and designer coffee were lovely surprises that made us feel like VIPs, and the smart TV’s screen-sharing was a total win; mirroring Netflix from our phones was effortless, making our late-night movie plans a breeze.
The staff were truly excellent. We turned up an hour before the official check-in time, but instead of being sent away to wander the streets, the receptionist checked us in immediately with a genuine smile. Furthermore, after we indulged in slightly more red wine than was perhaps wise the night before, the team graciously allowed us a late check-out with zero fuss and no extra charge. That level of empathy is rare, in my experience.
If you want high-quality, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully quirky accommodation in a prime Zurich location, look no further. It even smells fantastic - I’m convinced there’s a designer scent being pumped through the air conditioning. (Note to management: if you sell that fragrance in a bottle, please let me know - I’ll take five!)
We had a highly enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will definitely be back.

UUtente ospiteI had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at 25hours Hotel Zürich West. From the moment I arrived, the experience was warm and welcoming — the staff were not only professional but genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch that made a big difference.
The rooms are a standout: stylishly designed with bold, playful décor and thoughtful details that give the space character without compromising on comfort. I especially appreciated the roomy interiors, which offered more space than most urban hotels — a real luxury in Zurich. The layout felt both functional and relaxing, making it easy to settle in whether you’re in town for work or leisure.
The hotel also fits perfectly into the creative energy of the Zürich West district, with a modern vibe that feels authentic rather than over-designed. Highly recommended for travelers looking for something with personality, comfort, and consistently great service.

UUtente ospiteVery spacious and pretty room. We've got upgraded by the hotel as well. The staff were lovely. The hotel is small, so there isn't any common dining hall. Instead, breakfast will be delivered to your room at the morning. The rooms are on the more expensive side and there are many facilities in the room I didn't get to use tho.

FFrom SgIt costs 7CHF to reach Hotel Krone Unterstrass from Zürich airport. Take the train from the airport to the Zürich Oerlikon station then switch to tram#11 and alight at ‘Kronenstrasse’ stop. Hotel is just next to the tram stop. The neighbourhood is very quiet once dusk falls. You’ll soon discover that 3 stops more of tram#11 and you’ll be at the Zürich main station (Zürich HB) which is the city centre. The room has manual-controlled ac compressor (thank god) even if it’s fairly cool without it (~14 deg C outside at end-Sep). There’s no mini bar fridge and they provide a petite metal kettle. The whole point of my review is to commend Laura Mannino (spelling), the first point of contact when you visit the daily breakfast buffet. With her ready smile & winning demeanour, she’s an asset to every hospitality business. My 5th floor room has a newish feel to it & I really have no complaints. If you prefer to stay at the edge of the city centre and not pay an arm/limb for those $400~500 a night room at the city centre, Hotel Krone Unterstrass is ideal. Would I come back? Yes!

YYee11Hotel Glockenhof Zurich offers Switzerland charm and modern comfort, making it one of the top choice for leisure and business trip on visiting Zurich. Situated in the heart of the Zurich city, it provides good access to Zurich's main attractions, shopping areas, and near to the Zurich Main Station transportation.
The attentive staffs greeted with warm hospitality, and are always willing to assist with any requests.
The hotel's elegant decorated rooms provide a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city.
This hotel places emphasis on healthy sleep, hence they have worked with a Swiss family company, Roviva for the bedding (there’s a small card information on the benefits of roviva bed provided). The room also comes with a pair of arm chairs and coffee table and amenities, including free Wi-Fi, Nespresso machine and movable flat screen TV. Lastly they have also provided an umbrella and grocery tote bag in case you need it which was very thoughtful on guests needs.
The breakfast buffet comes after booking the room (optional), offering a wide selection of fresh fruits and delicious hams, bread and yogurt options to start the day.
All in all, my family and I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel.

MMiX007L'hotel è un po' lontano dal centro (15~20 minuti in tram), più 4 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Il check-in è stato rapido, anche se secondo lo stile svizzero l'orario del check-in è solo alle 15:00. Fortunatamente ci è stato permesso di trasferirci prima. La stanza è abbastanza grande, ma se hai valigie grandi sarà un po' stretta. Il personale è gentile e disponibile e, se possibile, cerca di accontentarvi. La scelta della colazione non è troppo ampia, ma è ben organizzata e offre la maggior parte di ciò che ti aspetteresti. C'è una palestra vera e propria (estremamente rara) con attrezzature sufficienti per soddisfare tutti tranne i professionisti. Tuttavia, a volte diventa un po' affollato. Hanno anche una discreta piscina. Accanto alla reception c'è una postazione di lavoro con stampante che gli ospiti possono utilizzare gratuitamente, perfetta se hai bisogno di stampare i biglietti. Erano felici di tenere i nostri bagagli dopo il nostro trasferimento fino al nostro volo serale - molto apprezzato.
Abbiamo pagato circa 125 franchi a notte per una camera standard per due, colazione inclusa, che è un buon affare a Zurigo. Tutto sommato c'è ben poco di cui lamentarsi. Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno eccellente e ci piacerebbe tornarci.

WWe360goWe had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The customer service at the front desk greeted us warmly and mentioned that they would make our final hotel experience during the trip a wonderful ending. They delivered our heavy luggage to our room without us even asking, which we greatly appreciated, especially since we had come from Zurich. :)
The breakfast offered a variety of options, although it still needs some enhancement. The meat section is made to order to ensure freshness, but we didn't notice that clause written in the menu.
The hotel's location is strategic, being close to Zurich's old town and shopping districts. The tram stop is just a three-minute walk away, and trams pass right in front of the hotel. Fortunately, our room was located on the quieter side of the hotel, and we were glad to have a balcony in our room.

LLyanne92The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Zürich HB train station. However, if you are traveling with heavy luggage, it may take around 10 minutes as you need to avoid routes with stairs.
The hotel does not include breakfast, and laundry service is available but requires an extra fee. The room itself was spacious, which was acceptable and comfortable enough.
One downside of my stay was the room key issue. I booked three nights, but every single day I had to go down to the front desk to have my key card reactivated. After a long day out, this was quite frustrating and inconvenient.
Overall, the stay was acceptable, but the repeated key card problem really affected my experience.

HHarmonickFine for a business traveler. For couples...eh. Walls are pretty thin as stated. The ”lounge” is just a room on the 9th floor with a TV and some games. There's no deadbolt on the door. That being said, the sunrise corner room gets unbeatable views!
Also, classic European bathroom where water just gets... everywhere when showering. So it's solid for a night in Zurich but not sure I could recommend it for a week of travel or if you're looking for something romantic.
