Hotel 3 stelle a Venezia

Il mio volo era la mattina da MXP, quindi ho lasciato l'hotel alle 4 del mattino. Ho chiesto alla reception almeno 5 volte dove si trovasse la stazione dei traghetti e gli orari, e Lorenzo mi ha dato una risposta molto precisa e ha stampato l'orario, indicandomi la stazione sulla mappa. Tuttavia, la stazione che mi ha indicato era sbagliata (sono arrivato con 10 minuti di anticipo), quindi ho perso il traghetto alle 4:21... non c'era assolutamente nessuno vicino alla stazione, quindi sono corso disperatamente con i miei bagagli in hotel, dove c'era un ragazzo anziano alla reception che mi ha detto che era la stazione successiva a quella che mi aveva indicato Lorenzo, il che significava un altro ponte. Eppure, ho chiesto a questo ragazzo anziano prima di lasciare l'hotel alle 4 ed era molto sicuro. Quando la seconda volta ho dubitato di lui, mi ha detto ”Può andare dove vuole, signora!”. Non c'era empatia, come se non fossero affari loro! La seconda volta mi sono precipitato alla stazione giusta e ho preso il traghetto alle 4:55 e ho perso il treno per Milano! Acquistare un altro biglietto Italo non è stato un problema, ma è una questione di vita e di incolumità! Spero solo che la reception sia più professionale e controlli attentamente quando danno suggerimenti. Perderei sicuramente il volo se non ci fosse il treno veloce Italo, inoltre ho preso un taxi subito dopo essere arrivato a Milano Centrale per arrivarci! La camera era piccola, non si potevano aprire bagagli grandi, ma era pulita, la donna delle pulizie meritava una mancia generosa! Mi piace che forniscano acqua e pantofole. La vista dalla mia camera è autentica. L'hotel è comodo se siete nei pressi di Piazza San Marco o se dovete sempre andare in bagno. Se prendete il traghetto notturno per la stazione ferroviaria di Santa Lucia, ricordate che si trova all'estremità destra di San Marco, c'è un altro ponte da attraversare.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations. You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right! We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed. The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible. A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated. Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus. All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

La posizione è ideale, si arriva rapidamente camminando dall'autobus dell'aeroporto e da ogni lato camminando. Ci sono bar intorno e è una zona tranquilla. Quello che potrebbe migliorare sono le istruzioni di check-in, perché ho contattato con un po' di anticipo l'app per fare il check-in e ho avuto problemi al momento di arrivare. La cosa buona è che rispondano e risolvo rapidamente, devo sottolinearlo. La vista dalla nostra stanza era bella, dava un piccolo patio.

Per la seconda volta in questo campeggio, trovo sempre ottimi servizi tra cui le piscine e il ristorante con buon rapporto qualità prezzo, considerando la vicinanza a Venezia. Sicuramente migliorabile la possibilità di comunicare con la struttura, perche alcune cose si possono fare solo tramite sito ma senza la possibilità di avere feedback veloci. Ho fatto una richiesta speciale: che fosse messo in camera un mini frigo, probabilmente non era possibile ma aspetto ancora la risposta da parte della struttura.

We’ve stayed in many hotels and apartments around the world, from tiny rooms to beautiful villas, and this was honestly our first experience like this. We arrived around 2:30 PM, right after check-in time. There is no elevator, but that’s completely understandable for an old Venetian building. We carried our luggage to the third floor, and while my wife was speaking with the host, we suddenly found out that the bathroom was shared with another room. This was a huge surprise for us because on Trip.com the booking clearly mentioned private facilities in the room and a shower. Only later did we realize that the bathroom was actually outside the room and shared between two rooms, with separate keys for the wooden bathroom door. The bathroom itself was clean and decent, but for us this completely changed the experience. We have never stayed in a place with a shared bathroom before, and finding this out only at check-in was very disappointing. Another frustrating point was the check-out policy. Check-out was at 10:00 AM, which we already knew from the booking, but honestly this was only the second time in my life I’ve seen such an early check-out time — and I’ve probably booked more than 200 hotels. I think the only earlier one I ever had was 9:30 AM. I genuinely do not understand why there needs to be a 4-hour gap between check-out and check-in for cleaning a room that does not even have a private bathroom. On top of that, the host said it was impossible to leave luggage after check-out because she had “negative experiences” before. So after an already disappointing stay, this just added another layer of inconvenience. Other downsides: * terrible pillows — sleeping felt like your head was at a 90-degree angle; * extremely poor sound insulation, you can hear literally every movement from other guests; * in the shower there was nothing except hand soap near the sink — no shampoo, no conditioner, no basic amenities. Positive points: * very good location; * the room itself was clean; * coffee was available in the room. Unfortunately, the bathroom situation completely overshadowed all the positives for us. Because of that, I would rate this place 2/5.

Situato in una posizione comoda a una fermata del traghetto, quindi non devi trascinare i bagagli troppo lontano. Non ci sono scale nell'hotel, quindi è un po' una lotta. La nostra camera si affacciava sull'acqua, il che era molto carino. La colazione era piuttosto buona. Non hai scelta, ti portano solo quello che offrono. L'hotel e la camera sono datati, ma penso che questo abbia dato loro un po' di carattere

Arriviamo all'hotel il 12 gennaio alle 10:30, la stanza era assolutamente incredibile e divisa in due livelli. Nel pavimento c’era un bagno e una doccia separata, tutto era molto bello, pulito e in condizioni di lavoro perfette, e non fugava affatto, e non c’era odore di malavoglia. Nel piano superiore c'era una camera da letto con un letto grande e un divano supplementare. La stanza era dotata di una grande TV intelligente, un guardaroba spazioso, una cassaforte e un asciugacapelli. Abbiamo anche due bottiglie d'acqua 0.5 L. C'era un riscaldamento e un aria condizionata, e tutto funzionava perfettamente, quindi non era freddo. La posizione è eccellente. Potrebbe sembrare un po' confuso sulla mappa all'inizio, ma abbiamo scoperto rapidamente. Quando vedi il negozio “Ca’ Macana Atelier”, giri subito a destra. Viene visualizzato un vecchio telefono pubblico, e tra gli edifici c'è l'ingresso dell'hotel (il nome dell'hotel è scritto sulla porta). L'interno dell'hotel è molto bello. Il proprietario è una signora molto gentile e benvenuta davvero meravigliosa. Parla inglese e pulisce le camere ogni giorno. Se preferisci non tenere la tua stanza pulita, puoi semplicemente informarla o appendere il segno sulla porta. L'imposta sul turismo è di 3 euro per persona al giorno. Il nostro hotel e la nostra camera sono senza dubbio il nostro numero uno preferito. Grazie mille. Se torniamo a Venezia, rimarremo certamente qui di nuovo. ❤️

We found the location quite easily. It’s conveniently situated within a comfortable walking distance from the bus stop where the airport buses arrive, which was a big plus after traveling. The administrator was very welcoming — we would especially like to thank her for the warm reception. We arrived before check-in time and were able to leave our bags, which was very convenient. When we returned at the scheduled time, we were able to access our room without any issues. During our stay, renovation works started in a neighboring apartment (apparently upstairs). Because of this, there was a bit less natural light in our room, and we could hear construction noise in the mornings, which started quite early. It turned out that the host was not aware that the work would begin so early either. We would like to especially highlight how the situation was handled. The host personally spoke with us, apologized, and managed to arrange for the work to start later. It was clear that our comfort truly mattered. For us, the situation was completely resolved. The room itself met our expectations. It was spacious — not one of those layouts where you walk straight into the bed with the bathroom door right there. The room was warm thanks to central heating. The water pressure was excellent, and the bathroom was simple but cozy. There was no breakfast option during our stay, but that did not significantly affect our overall experience. We had a pleasant stay and are grateful for the hospitality. It is clear that guest comfort is a priority here — if you experience any issues or need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask.

We arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor. I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases. The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would. The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed. The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it. The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it. The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket. The safe was not working. The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them. The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working. You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool. The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off. The bathroom bin was broken and filthy The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am. I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy. We would be extremely grateful if you could offer us a credit for our next hotel booking with trip.com, we are in the process of booking our November Asia tour. Kindest regards

Un'opzione relativamente più economica a Venezia. Le camere erano molto antiche e le condizioni non erano delle migliori, ma comunque funzionali. Potrebbe essere un po' rumoroso, dato che c'è un molo dei vaporetti proprio di fronte. Buona colazione e servizio, comunque. A piedi sarà piuttosto distante dal centro e dalla stazione ferroviaria, ma il vaporetto sarà una buona opzione da questo hotel.
