Hotel 3 stelle a Edimburgo

Questo hotel non è solo vicino a Calton Hill e al castello di Edimburgo, ma è anche sul retro di Princess Street, molto tranquillo. Ho accidentalmente lasciato cadere lì il mio passaporto, l'hanno trovato e l'hanno tenuto per me finché non sono tornato, sono stati molto premurosi.

Great location as not too far from Edinburgh Waverley Station and a couple of minutes off the Royal Mile. Lots of pubs and eating places nearby. Staff very welcoming and always available. We were about half an hour early for check-in time, but our room was available for us. Sweet double room was large enough for 2 people. Hanging space for clothing with hangers included. Large desk/table with fully stocked tea/coffee station. Clean room and bedding, plus extra pillows were available. Bed was comfy, think they use mattress toppers. We stayed for 3 nights in January and the room was warm enough with the use of the heater/cooler system. Our room overlooked Hunters Square, so quite a nice view of what was going on. Small bathroom, but shower cubicle was big enough and shower easy to use. Large mirror with lighting around it in bathroom and long mirror on the wall in the room. Hairdryer in room also. Free WiFi was always available. Large flat screen TV was in working order. We had no issues with noise from other rooms or from the street outside, even though we occasionally had the window open. Key cards worked with no problems. You also have the option to ”Skip the daily clean”, which we did, but changed the towels. Corridors always smelled clean and fresh. We didn't opt in for the breakfast and didn't eat or drink in the hotel, as we ate out alot. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We had a pleasant stay at Premier Inn Edinburgh Park (Airport). The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what you would expect from the Premier Inn standard. The location is very convenient, being right next to Edinburgh Park train and tram stations, making airport access and travel around Edinburgh easy. However, it is quite far from the city centre, so journeys into town take a bit longer. The facilities were adequate for our needs, and overall the hotel offered good value for money. One area for improvement would be the service, as the afternoon staff appeared somewhat unfriendly and not particularly welcoming. Aside from that, everything else was excellent, and we enjoyed our stay as a family. I would recommend this hotel for travellers looking for convenient transport links and a comfortable stay.

Easy to find, within walking distance of the bus station. Very central, situated just off Princes Street. Staff friendly and helpful at all times. Room for 2 was quiet, clean but thankfully we brought our own kettle as there were non in the rooms. There is a TV but had to pay for current films but all in all really enjoyed our stay. Well worth the money 😀

This is a photo I took at my accommodation in Edinburgh. It was only about a one-minute walk from the station, and most of the main tourist attractions were nearby, which made getting around very convenient. The only surprise was that I didn’t realise it was a triple bunk bed when I booked it. I booked it without thinking much about the bed setup, so I was a bit caught off guard. As a result, I hit my head a few times! Other than that, everything was fine. Interestingly, the top bunk (third level) actually looked like the best spot.

È a 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria. La camera dell'hotel non è grande e non è facile spostarsi a causa delle curve e delle svolte. Tuttavia, sento che ci sono molte persone che soggiornano qui, e potrebbe essere molto albergo conveniente. C'è un altro ibis nelle vicinanze, te ne consiglio un altro, è più vicino e sembra più organizzato. Il bagno è una stanza separata, il che è un po' strano. Al piano inferiore c'è un bar e potrebbe essere rumoroso se la stanza è rivolta verso l'esterno. La colazione dell'hotel è buona e ricca di contenuti.

L'hotel dispone di una decorazione moderna, un'atmosfera piacevole, e è pulita e pulita. La stanza è un po' piccola, ma è comoda e ok per un breve soggiorno. E' ben decorata e tesa. È un po 'di distanza dal centro, circa un passo 20-minute, ma è molto conveniente per viaggiare sul tram, che si ferma davanti all'hotel, raggiunge il centro solo 5 minuti. Se vieni in treno, partendo alla stazione di Waverley, si cammina al mercato di Waverley, alla uscita della Princess Street, e si può arrivare sul tram fino all'hotel, partendo alla fermata di Haymarket, molto conveniente. Come Thai, ho incontrato un membro del personale thailandese alla reception, ed è molto gentile, amichevole e utile. Sono sicura che tornerò qui per rimanere se torno a Edimburgo. Edimburgo è così bella, come una storia fatica.

The biggest issue is the excessive noise after 11 PM. The nearby disco and nightclub open til 3:00am. from 11 PM to 3 AM, with drunk people talking loudly on the street. The room windows are not double-glazed, so it feels as if you are right on the street. At 6 AM, the garbage truck adds to the noise while collecting trash. Basically, if I hadn’t only slept for two hours due to the noise on the first night, there would have been no way to sleep at all on the second night. The hotel provides earplugs, but they are completely ineffective. I hope they can replace the windows with soundproof glass.

Excellent Location, but Serious Security Lapses I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a bit of a mixed bag. While there are some undeniable perks to the property, a few significant service and security issues made for a rather unsettling experience. The Highlights Prime Location: This is easily the hotel's strongest suit. It’s situated right next to Haymarket station, and there is a bus stop literally just outside the front door. Getting into the city centre takes no more than 10 minutes, making it a perfect base for exploring. Commendable Service: The reception team provided a decent welcome. I’d like to give a special mention to Shreyas, who was incredibly helpful and professional throughout our interactions. Quality Dining: We ate at the on-site restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was of a high standard, and the waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Room Maintenance & Tech Issues Unfortunately, the shine started to wear off once we settled into the room: Housekeeping Oversights: Despite this being a multi-day stay, the complimentary water bottles were never replaced after the first day. Faulty Tech: The in-room tablet was practically useless. It kept restarting due to a battery fault; ironically, it even cut out while I was trying to use it to contact reception. Privacy Concerns: When we requested extra toilet roll, the staff member who delivered it attempted to walk straight into the room using their key, rather than knocking and waiting for us to answer. It was a complete breach of basic hospitality etiquette. A Major Security Concern The most distressing part of the trip occurred on our second day. Upon returning to our room in the evening, we were shocked to find the main door open. It appears the cleaning staff had failed to secure the door after finishing their rounds. Finding your hotel room left open to the public is, quite frankly, scary. It’s a massive security fail that overshadowed the rest of the stay. While the location is brilliant, the hotel desperately needs to tighten up its staff training and safety protocols. Would I stay again? Only if I were certain that the security and maintenance issues had been addressed.

Il mio secondo soggiorno qui. Ottima posizione a un buon prezzo. A Edimburgo passerete la maggior parte della giornata fuori, in questa splendida città, quindi avrete bisogno di un sonno confortevole in una buona posizione, e questo hotel lo offre, trovandosi all'estremità del Royal Mile e a pochi minuti a piedi dal Waverley Bridge, da dove si può prendere l'autobus express per l'aeroporto e anche la stazione ferroviaria. Le camere hanno una bella vista su Balmoral. Evitate solo le camere d'angolo perché hanno una connessione internet lenta.
