Hotel 3 stelle a Edimburgo

Ambiente: proprio al confine di una miglia reale con il ponte meridionale, è conveniente ovunque. Non si può sentire il rumore vicino alla città di Liu, ma a volte il rumore nelle strade è grande.C'è un supermercato vicino Servizio: la fornitura di colazione non può essere seguita, e il team può essere incastrato per molto tempo per mangiare. L'unica cosa che era buona su questo hotel era la posizione più centrale. Tutto il resto era piuttosto cattivo. Ho chiesto una stanza con una bella vista per la nostra occasione speciale, ma è stata data una stanza con la vista del muro industriale posteriore. Chiamò il manager e venne a scusarsi e disse che non c'erano altre stanze. La stanza stessa era antiquata, sembrava un ostello piuttosto che un hotel.Abbiamo viaggiato molto, ma questo è stato il peggiore hotel in cui abbiamo soggiornato. La nostra occasione speciale è stata rovinata. La camera era così piccola che era difficile spruzzare una valigia tra il letto e il muro. La TV non aveva connessione internet. Non c'era mini frigo. La porta della camera da bagno era spruzzata. Il bagno era così vicino al muro che non vi sarebbe stato spinto in un muro. Il ristorante è in riabilitazione e offre tee/caffè e pasticceria al livello 3 gratuitamente per colazione. C'è un menu costoso limitato per ordinare dalla ricezione alla tua stanza se ne ha bisogno. La struttura di deposito dei bagagli è limitata. Quando si è verificato, molti hanno detto che non c'era più spazio per il deposito dei bagagli e quegli uomini dovevano andare a cercare il deposito dei bagagli preziosi fuori. Abbiamo incontrato alcune persone che si lamentavano anche dell'hotel. Non tornerà mai più a questo hotel.

Questo hotel non è solo vicino a Calton Hill e al castello di Edimburgo, ma è anche sul retro di Princess Street, molto tranquillo. Ho accidentalmente lasciato cadere lì il mio passaporto, l'hanno trovato e l'hanno tenuto per me finché non sono tornato, sono stati molto premurosi.

Easy to find, within walking distance of the bus station. Very central, situated just off Princes Street. Staff friendly and helpful at all times. Room for 2 was quiet, clean but thankfully we brought our own kettle as there were non in the rooms. There is a TV but had to pay for current films but all in all really enjoyed our stay. Well worth the money 😀

La stanza era troppo piccola per tre persone, non c'era spazio per le valigie e non c'era quasi spazio per muoversi. Il bagno sembrava un po' sporco, con perdite d'acqua che invadevano il lavandino mentre lavavo i calzini. La posizione è piuttosto isolata. Sebbene Edimburgo non sia grande, ci vuole circa mezz'ora per raggiungere la città in tram, il che non è molto comodo. Ho avuto l'impressione che l'intero viaggio a Edimburgo non sia stato un granché. C'era molta gente, il clima era freddo e l'hotel non era molto piacevole.

Dato che abbiamo prenotato la camera con largo anticipo, non so se sia stato un errore mio o dell'hotel. Io e la mia amica avevamo prenotato una camera con due letti, ma le camere nelle foto avevano tutte due letti singoli! Quando abbiamo fatto il check-in e siamo andate in camera, abbiamo visto che era solo un letto grande, quindi siamo andate subito alla reception per segnalare la situazione. Dopo soli dieci minuti, ci hanno cambiato la camera con una con due letti singoli! Grazie per il vostro aiuto! Grazie!

Stayed at St Christopher’s Hostel, Edinburgh for a night and it was a good budget choice. The location is excellent, right in the city centre and close to the Old Town and main attractions. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The dorm was basic but comfortable enough for a short stay. It can get a bit noisy, so earplugs help. Bathrooms and common areas were generally clean considering how busy it is. Overall, it’s a social, well-located hostel—great for meeting people and exploring the city, but not ideal if you want total quiet. Perfect for a short stay in Edinburgh.

Ottima posizione, nel centro di Edimburgo, a soli 10 minuti a piedi dal Castello di Edimburgo. Ottima luce naturale e tende per la notte. Tuttavia, le porte erano davvero rumorose, non importa quanto ci provassi, facevano un rumore enorme quando le chiudevo o le aprivo. La stanza in cui ho soggiornato aveva un'insonorizzazione scarsa, si sentivano chiacchiere ad alta voce dall'interno quando la gente passava al mattino, i tappi per le orecchie sono consigliati se soggiornate lì e siete sensibili al rumore. Nel complesso, vale comunque il prezzo.

Excellent Location, but Serious Security Lapses I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a bit of a mixed bag. While there are some undeniable perks to the property, a few significant service and security issues made for a rather unsettling experience. The Highlights Prime Location: This is easily the hotel's strongest suit. It’s situated right next to Haymarket station, and there is a bus stop literally just outside the front door. Getting into the city centre takes no more than 10 minutes, making it a perfect base for exploring. Commendable Service: The reception team provided a decent welcome. I’d like to give a special mention to Shreyas, who was incredibly helpful and professional throughout our interactions. Quality Dining: We ate at the on-site restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was of a high standard, and the waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Room Maintenance & Tech Issues Unfortunately, the shine started to wear off once we settled into the room: Housekeeping Oversights: Despite this being a multi-day stay, the complimentary water bottles were never replaced after the first day. Faulty Tech: The in-room tablet was practically useless. It kept restarting due to a battery fault; ironically, it even cut out while I was trying to use it to contact reception. Privacy Concerns: When we requested extra toilet roll, the staff member who delivered it attempted to walk straight into the room using their key, rather than knocking and waiting for us to answer. It was a complete breach of basic hospitality etiquette. A Major Security Concern The most distressing part of the trip occurred on our second day. Upon returning to our room in the evening, we were shocked to find the main door open. It appears the cleaning staff had failed to secure the door after finishing their rounds. Finding your hotel room left open to the public is, quite frankly, scary. It’s a massive security fail that overshadowed the rest of the stay. While the location is brilliant, the hotel desperately needs to tighten up its staff training and safety protocols. Would I stay again? Only if I were certain that the security and maintenance issues had been addressed.

La pulizia e la posizione non sono i migliori, ma credo che sia un livello soddisfacente per il prezzo.
