If you’re looking for an English review, here it is! Location: We stayed for 6 nights in the Jade Room, and the location couldn’t be better. The hotel is only a short 3-minute walk from Huangxing Pedestrian Street, tucked inside a small alley off the main road. While taxis can’t drop you right at the entrance, the walk is easy and luggage-friendly. The surroundings are quiet at night but still feel very safe. There’s also a nearby corner shop that holds Taobao parcels, which is super convenient, and the reception staff will guide you if needed. Service: The service was genuinely outstanding and truly made the stay feel like a home away from home. Communication was clear, warm, and responsive from the beginning. We confirmed our booking via WeChat and received prompt replies along with helpful directions and a clear map. We arrived past midnight, but the staff kept in touch and reassured us that someone would meet us on arrival. A friendly young gentleman greeted us with a big smile, brought us to our room, and followed up with the passcodes for Wi-Fi and door access (the lobby area locks after 10pm). Most evenings, they sent a message about homemade desserts available on a first-come-first-serve basis—such a thoughtful touch. They were also extremely helpful when I needed to order food through *******, letting me use the front desk number since I didn’t have a local phone. I was also able to receive Taobao parcels at the hotel, and the staff neatly gathered them for easy pick-up. Truly attentive and heartfelt service throughout. Cleanliness & Room: The room had basic amenities and toiletries, which were sufficient for a comfortable stay. However, we couldn’t find a safe or mini fridge— not a deal breaker, but something to note if you’re expecting those features. The cleaning team was polite and checked in daily to see if we needed housekeeping. Fresh towels and bottled water were consistently provided, which we appreciated. Still, the overall cleaning could have been more thorough. We noticed crumbs and hair on the floor, suggesting that sweeping or vacuuming wasn’t done completely, and there were some shoe marks left in the bathroom. Not major issues, but worth mentioning. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and despite the minor cleanliness concerns, we would happily rebook this accommodation on our next trip to Changsha. _______ 地点（Location）： 我们在翡翠房（Jade Room）住了 6 晚，地点真的非常棒。酒店距离黄兴步行街只有大约 3 分钟的步行路程，藏在主街旁的一条小巷里。虽然出租车不能直接把你送到酒店门口，但小巷平坦好走，拖着行李也完全没有问题。周边环境晚上很安静，但仍然非常安全。附近还有一家包裹代收的小店，可以领取淘宝包裹，非常便利，前台也会指导你如何前往。 服务（Service）： 酒店的服务真的非常贴心，让人有一种“家外之家”的感觉。沟通顺畅、友善且回应快速。我们通过微信确认了预订，酒店很快给了回复，并附上了详细的路线说明和清晰的地图。 我们是在深夜抵达的，但他们一路保持联络，告诉我们随时可以联系工作人员。到达后，一位年轻的小哥满脸笑容地迎接我们，带我们到房间，并马上发送了 Wi-Fi 和门禁的密码（酒店前台与客房通道晚上 10 点后会上锁）。 大多数晚上，他们都会发消息告诉我们当天有自制甜点，数量有限、先到先得——非常温馨的小惊喜。当我需要用**点餐时，他们也非常乐于协助，因为我没有中国手机号，他们让我直接填写前台号码作为联系号码。另外，我也收了不少淘宝包裹，前台都会帮忙整理好，让取件变得更方便。整体服务相当贴心、周到。 房间与清洁（Room & Cleanliness）： 房间提供基本的设施与盥洗用品，住起来还是舒适的。不过，我们没有找到保险箱或小冰箱——不是硬性需求，但如果你特别需要这类设备，建议提前确认。 清洁人员每天都会礼貌询问我们是否需要打扫房间，毛巾和瓶装水也都有每天补充，这点非常不错。然而，整体清洁度可以再更细致一些。我们发现地板上有一些面包屑和头发，似乎没有彻底打扫；浴室地面上也有鞋印。虽然不是严重的问题，但仍值得一提。 整体评价： 整体入住体验非常愉快，即便有些许清洁的小问题，我们仍然非常愿意在下次来长沙时再次入住这里。

Il servizio di ricezione dell'hotel e di ricezione è molto buono per il lavoro che si incontra sempre con il viso sorridente. Dopo aver aggiunto una microscrittura, non invierà messaggi inutili. In sostanza, tutti gli aspetti sono considerati completamente, tra cui gli oggetti persi dopo la partenza. È anche la prima volta che ci contattano La stanza è ben igienica, il letto è comodo e la posizione geografica intorno è superiore. È il centro commerciale di Dexter. La stanza è ancora molto isolata. In ultima analisi, è ancora molto consigliabile avere la possibilità di tornare.

If you’re visiting Changsha and looking for a hotel that’s clean, modern, and full of thoughtful details, I honestly can’t recommend OKDAY Hotel (Wuyi Square South Gate Subway Station) enough. This place really surprised me, not because it’s fancy or over-the-top, but because every little detail feels designed with care. Let’s start with what impressed me the most: the hygiene standards. I’ve stayed in many mid-range hotels across China, but OKDAY stands out. The remote controls were individually wrapped, which instantly made me feel reassured about their cleanliness. The bathroom even comes with a toilet seat cleaner, something I rarely see even in higher-end hotels. It’s these small touches that make a big difference, especially for someone who values hygiene as much as I do. The room setup is modern, cozy, and smart. There’s a Xiaodu voice control system that lets you adjust lights, curtains, and even the TV with just your voice, a real upgrade for a hotel at this price point. On top of that, they even provide an Aircon remote so you can control the temperature without getting out of bed (lazy travelers like me, you’ll love this 😆). Another bonus is there’s a mini fridge in the room, perfect for storing drinks, fruits, or late-night snacks. (They send me a dinner dessert to the room upon check in!) And if you’re staying a few days, they’ve got laundry service available right at the front desk. Just hand over your clothes and they’ll take care of the rest, no hassle at all. The location is also a major win, it’s right next to the Wuyi Square South Gate Subway Station, making it super convenient to explore Changsha’s main attractions, grab local food, or head out shopping. All in all, OKDAY Hotel has easily become one of my favorite hotels in Changsha. It’s clean, quiet, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Whether you’re here for business, a weekend getaway, or just passing through, this place delivers way more than you’d expect. 🌙✨

Soggiorno: 2 giorni durante un viaggio d'affari. Hotel e atmosfera: Piccolo boutique hotel dall'atmosfera piacevole, splendidamente arredato e adatto a un breve soggiorno. Posizione: Dato che sarei rimasto solo due notti, volevo soggiornare nel distretto di Kaifu, una zona storica di Changsha. L'hotel si trova nella zona di Chaozong Ancient Street (潮宗古街), caratterizzata da una forte atmosfera locale, con architettura tradizionale, vie del cibo e zone pedonali. Ci sono molti graziosi ristoranti, caffè, boutique locali e piacevoli zone pedonali facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. Un aspetto pratico da notare è che alcuni taxi potrebbero scendere o salire sulla strada principale, a circa 100 metri dall'hotel. Camera e rumore: La camera era confortevole. Sono forniti anche tappi per le orecchie. Servizio e comunicazione: Il servizio è stato cordiale e attento. Il personale utilizza strumenti di traduzione per comunicare in modo efficace. Colazione: La colazione non è disponibile in hotel, ma nelle vicinanze troverete numerose opzioni, tra cui piccoli ristoranti cinesi, sale da tè e caffè e minimarket. Trasporti: La stazione ferroviaria di Changsha Sud è a circa 40 minuti di distanza. Un taxi per Wuxi costa circa 24 RMB. I taxi in Cina che utilizzano DiDi (tramite l'app Alipay) sono comodi ed economici. Rapporto qualità-prezzo: Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. In generale: Un piccolo boutique hotel confortevole e ben posizionato, con un buon servizio e un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Lo consiglio.

Reception: 4/10 La receptionist, con i capelli corti, in sovrappeso e gli occhiali, aveva un atteggiamento pessimo. Parlava molto velocemente, come se temesse che il cliente non capisse. Con questo tipo di formazione del personale al Ji Hotel, anche se è una stagista, ci fa davvero pensare che l'hotel stia diventando sempre più indietro rispetto ad altri hotel nella stessa fascia di prezzo. Posizione: 9/10 Comodo per spostarsi. Pulizia: 7/10 Esempio: Il kit di cortesia verde era già molto vecchio; non so perché il Ji Hotel insista a usarlo, è piuttosto antigienico. Servizi: 7/01 Esempio: Il corrimano del bagno era difficile da usare; non era un corrimano, ma una maniglia rotonda, il che era scomodo. Ci tornerei? No. Per la stessa fascia di prezzo nelle vicinanze, sceglierei l'Orange Crystal o l'Atour. La reception è il volto di un hotel. Il pessimo atteggiamento di questa donna nei confronti del servizio clienti ha fatto perdere al Ji Hotel oltre 170 recensioni positive, il che è uno schiaffo in faccia. Spero che anche Ctrip selezioni attentamente gli hotel e rafforzi la sua formazione e il suo follow-up per evitare di perdere clienti preziosi. Punteggio totale: 5/10

Servizi: La camera è completamente attrezzata, con tutte le tecnologie smart. Pulizia: La pulizia era eccellente e la biancheria da letto molto confortevole. Ambiente: La posizione dell'hotel è molto comoda, con facile accesso ai mezzi di trasporto; la stazione della metropolitana è proprio al piano terra. Servizio: Il servizio merita davvero un grande plauso. Il personale della reception è stato estremamente accogliente e il check-in è stato molto rapido. Ci hanno persino aiutato a portare i nostri bagagli pesanti in camera. L'hotel dispone anche di posti auto riservati. Se avete difficoltà a trovare la strada, potete rivolgervi al personale per il pagamento; vi forniranno ottime indicazioni. Altamente raccomandato per chi viaggia in auto.

La camera era pulita e ordinata e ho trascorso un soggiorno molto confortevole. Ho scelto questo hotel a caso durante il mio viaggio a Changsha, ma sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla sua qualità. Anche la luce naturale era fantastica; quando il sole entrava, mi sentivo al caldo e a mio agio. Il check-out era previsto per le 13:00, ma l'hotel ci ha concesso un'ora in più. Ci hanno persino offerto un piccolo omaggio prima di partire. Il servizio è stato eccellente. Sicuramente sceglierò di nuovo questo hotel la prossima volta che sarò a Changsha.

Tingjian Suyu Hotel（Chang Sha） This is truly my favorite hotel throughout this Changsha trip, and a place that made me feel completely at ease ❤️ First, the environment. The hotel is exceptionally clean, peaceful, and comfortable. Despite being located in the city center, the sleep quality was excellent. I especially loved their custom-made pillows, which significantly improved our rest and made every night deeply relaxing. Second, the thoughtful details. From the unforgettable Changsha rice noodles at breakfast to the complimentary afternoon tea during the cold winter, every detail felt warm and well-considered ☕️. Third—and the main reason I would return—is the service. Every staff member was genuinely kind, attentive, and responsive. No matter what we needed, they were always there, making us feel safe and cared for—almost like having a personal butler at home. Lastly, a very special highlight: Since we were traveling in winter with lots of luggage, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that the hotel offers free luggage delivery to the airport ✈️. Thanks to this, we could fully enjoy our last day in Changsha without worrying about our suitcases at all—such a thoughtful service! If you ask whether I would come back? Yes, 100%. A Serene Mountain Retreat: A Perfect Escape from the Hustle This mountain hotel is an absolute gem for anyone craving peace and connection with nature—easily one of my favorite getaways in recent memory. From the moment I arrived, the architectural charm stood out: sleek, modern white buildings nestled against a lush forest backdrop, with rustic stone retaining walls adding a warm, earthy contrast. The interiors are just as thoughtfully designed—cozy lounge areas feature a crackling wood-burning stove that invites you to kick back and unwind (I spent hours with my feet up by the fire, sipping tea, and forgetting the outside world). The outdoor spaces are equally delightful: sun-dappled patios with soft flooring, where my spaniel wandered by (a sweet, unexpected touch!), and gravel paths that lead to sweeping views of the wooded hills. Every corner feels intentional, balancing minimalist design with the raw beauty of the surrounding nature. What truly makes this place special is the tranquility. It’s quiet enough to hear the rustle of leaves and birdsong, yet the amenities are comfortable and well-appointed—no roughing it here. The staff (though I didn’t interact much, thanks to the seclusion) seemed attentive, and the little touches (like the firewood stacked neatly by the stove) made the stay feel personal and cared for. If I had to nitpick, it’s that the remote location means you’ll need a car to explore nearby spots—but that’s part of the appeal for a true escape. Rating: 5/5 This hotel isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a chance to slow down, breathe, and soak in nature’s beauty. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The majority of Changsha's attractions are located near Wuyi Square. It is prudent to book a hotel near this focus area. I booked this motel as it is a reputable hotel chain. It is located right beside Taiping Street, an old shopping alley since ancient times. The chain motel is now named Magnolio Hotel (Wuyi Square Branch). Changsha was my last destination of my 10-day Hunan trip. I did not follow any travel agency and explore based on my research. When we arrived at Changsha from Fenghuang Ancient Town, I was shocked by the hot weather of 38 degrees. We were drenched with sweat and felt much better when in the cold air-conditioned lobby of the hotel. The fusion tea drinks at the lobby quenched much of our thirst. The location of this hotel is superb. It is only 150 m from Exit 1 of Wuyi Square metro station. Seniors above 65 years old, including foreigners, enjoy free metro travel in Changsha. We just showed our passports and there is no second question asked, and the staff will open the gate for you to access the station. Thus, travelling to the airport via metro is also free. Wuyi Square is Line 2 station. From Wuyi Square, you can change to Line 6 at Yinbing Station and take the Line 6 train directly to Terminal 1 & 2 of Huanghua International Airport and free. The metro station also provided shelter from the heat, and I explored Huangxin Pedestrian Street and IFC mall via the metro exits. The hotel receptionist informed me that they had upgraded my room to a bigger one for free. The toilet facilities and room are well renovated and clean though the room is still quite small. I stayed for 2 nights over here, and both me and my wife had wonderful sleep. There were also plenty of eateries and restaurants at the vicinity. Walmart is just 400 m away. For travel to attractions, Orange Island is only just two stations away at 橘子洲 station along Line 2, and for Mount Yuelu, it is only one station away at 溁 湾 镇 站 from 橘子洲 station For location, cleanliness, and staff responsiveness, I will give this hotel 10 points upon 10.
