Il personale della reception, in particolare gli addetti numero 2 e 3, è stato molto efficiente nell'emettere i biglietti e ha compreso le mie esigenze, provvedendo a fornirmeli secondo le mie richieste. Anche il servizio dell'hotel è stato ottimo. Le strutture erano complete e la comodità di non dover utilizzare una tessera per l'elettricità è stata un grande vantaggio, rendendo il rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente. L'hotel si trova a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione della metropolitana.

Questo hotel ridefinisce davvero il concetto di servizio di alta qualità negli hotel di lusso: personale cordiale, disponibile, attento e professionale. Lo staff è sempre pronto ad aiutare, estremamente comunicativo e reattivo tramite WeChat, e si prende cura di ogni esigenza. La mia impressione prima ancora dell'arrivo era già positiva, perché mi hanno aiutato a organizzare la spedizione anticipata di due pacchi in hotel. Mi hanno persino permesso di usare i loro recapiti come numero di telefono per effettuare l'ordine, dato che non avevo un numero locale. Al nostro arrivo, i pacchi ci aspettavano e il personale delle pulizie ha portato via gli imballaggi rimanenti. Offrono anche un servizio di lavanderia gratuito e non posso sottolineare abbastanza quanto fossero morbidi e profumati i nostri vestiti appena lavati. I prodotti da bagno sono del marchio di lusso Le Labo e l'acqua fornita è l'acqua minerale Evian. Ovviamente sono presenti anche asciugacapelli Dyson. Le colazioni giornaliere sono davvero sontuose: abalone la prima mattina e controfiletto di Angus la seconda. Potevamo ordinare il bis di qualsiasi piatto ci fosse piaciuto. I succhi di frutta sono freschi di giornata. Il barista ci ha persino preparato delle bevande da asporto da gustare durante le nostre uscite. Vengono offerti anche il tè pomeridiano e le zuppe serali, e gli ospiti possono scegliere l'orario e il luogo in cui desiderano riceverli (ad esempio, in camera o nella lounge dell'hotel). Ci hanno persino preparato del latte freddo per rinfrescarci dopo cena, dopo aver gustato il pollo piccante di Changsha. Un servizio davvero eccezionale! Una delle cose che distingue questo hotel da tutti gli altri in cui abbiamo soggiornato sono le attività pomeridiane offerte agli ospiti. Il secondo giorno abbiamo partecipato a un corso di smalto cloisonné in hotel e sicuramente esporremo i frutti del nostro lavoro a casa al nostro ritorno. Ci hanno fornito tutto il materiale necessario e una delle gentilissime commesse ci ha spiegato tutto con estrema pazienza, nonostante la barriera linguistica. Esperienze uniche come queste, offerte ogni giorno, rendono il soggiorno davvero piacevole. Capisco perché questo hotel abbia vinto così tanti premi. Il personale se li è davvero meritati. È grazie alla loro dedizione che questo hotel si è guadagnato una reputazione così prestigiosa. Vale davvero ogni centesimo! Non so con precisione quando torneremo a Changsha, ma è entusiasmante sapere che l'hotel ha un'altra sede a Chengdu, che non vediamo l'ora di visitare, magari il prossimo anno. Posso solo dire che conserverò sempre un ricordo affettuoso di questo hotel e in particolare del suo personale, e che questo hotel ha sicuramente alzato l'asticella in termini di servizio eccellente.

My stay at Changsha Xiangjiang Hotel 1968 was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. From the hotel’s location, facilities, to its outstanding service standards, everything exceeded my expectations. What impressed me the most was the warm, thoughtful, and highly professional service. Even before check-in, the hotel created a dedicated WeChat service group to assist guests with every detail. Throughout every minute of my stay, I could truly feel the team’s meticulous attention to detail, efficiency, and genuine hospitality. This was one of the best butler-style service experiences I have ever had. The location is another major highlight. The hotel is situated in a quiet and peaceful community area while still being within walking distance of Wuyi Square. Unlike hotels located directly beside busy main roads, this property offers a unique sense of tranquility. You can either walk through the charming side alleys or stroll along the driveway and community square to reach the bustling streets nearby. The hotel itself is beautifully renovated and exceptionally well maintained. This garden-style property preserves the elegant charm and architectural spirit of the Republican-era buildings while seamlessly integrating modern facilities and technology. It creates an immersive atmosphere that makes every guest feel like a “time traveler” enjoying both historical aesthetics and contemporary comfort. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this stay. The hotel is only a short 3-minute walk from Huangxing Pedestrian Street, tucked inside a small alley off the main road. While taxis can’t drop you right at the entrance, the walk is easy and luggage-friendly. The surroundings are quiet at night but still feel very safe. There’s also a nearby corner shop that holds Taobao parcels, which is super convenient, and the reception staff will guide you if needed. Service: The service was genuinely outstanding and truly made the stay feel like a home away from home. Communication was clear, warm, and responsive from the beginning. We confirmed our booking via WeChat and received prompt replies along with helpful directions and a clear map. We arrived past midnight, but the staff kept in touch and reassured us that someone would meet us on arrival. A friendly young gentleman greeted us with a big smile, brought us to our room, and followed up with the passcodes for Wi-Fi and door access (the lobby area locks after 10pm). Most evenings, they sent a message about homemade desserts available on a first-come-first-serve basis—such a thoughtful touch. They were also extremely helpful when I needed to order food through *******, letting me use the front desk number since I didn’t have a local phone. I was also able to receive Taobao parcels at the hotel, and the staff neatly gathered them for easy pick-up. Truly attentive and heartfelt service throughout. Cleanliness & Room: The room had basic amenities and toiletries, which were sufficient for a comfortable stay. However, we couldn’t find a safe or mini fridge— not a deal breaker, but something to note if you’re expecting those features. The cleaning team was polite and checked in daily to see if we needed housekeeping. Fresh towels and bottled water were consistently provided, which we appreciated. Still, the overall cleaning could have been more thorough. We noticed crumbs and hair on the floor, suggesting that sweeping or vacuuming wasn’t done completely, and there were some shoe marks left in the bathroom. Not major issues, but worth mentioning. If you’re visiting Changsha and looking for a hotel that’s clean, modern, and full of thoughtful details, I honestly can’t recommend OKDAY Hotel (Wuyi Square South Gate Subway Station) enough. This place really surprised me, not because it’s fancy or over-the-top, but because every little detail feels designed with care. Let’s start with what impressed me the most: the hygiene standards. I’ve stayed in many mid-range hotels across China, but OKDAY stands out. The remote controls were individually wrapped, which instantly made me feel reassured about their cleanliness. The bathroom even comes with a toilet seat cleaner, something I rarely see even in higher-end hotels. It’s these small touches that make a big difference, especially for someone who values hygiene as much as I do. The room setup is modern, cozy, and smart. There’s a Xiaodu voice control system that lets you adjust lights, curtains, and even the TV with just your voice, a real upgrade for a hotel at this price point. On top of that, they even provide an Aircon remote so you can control the temperature without getting out of bed (lazy travelers like me, you’ll love this 😆). Another bonus is there’s a mini fridge in the room, perfect for storing drinks, fruits, or late-night snacks. (They send me a dinner dessert to the room upon check in!) And if you’re staying a few days, they’ve got laundry service available right at the front desk. Just hand over your clothes and they’ll take care of the rest, no hassle at all. The location is also a major win, it’s right next to the Wuyi Square South Gate Subway Station, making it super convenient to explore Changsha’s main attractions, grab local food, or head out shopping. All in all, OKDAY Hotel has easily become one of my favorite hotels in Changsha. It’s clean, quiet, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. It was thoughtfully laid out, providing ample space for all of us and our luggage without feeling cramped. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after long days of sightseeing – a crucial factor for keeping everyone happy! We particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the room and, indeed, the entire hotel. It’s clear the staff take great pride in maintaining high standards. The amenities at Jato Hotel catered well to our family's needs. While we didn't use every facility, knowing there was a restaurant on-site was convenient for those evenings when the kids were too tired to venture far for dinner. The laundry service also came in handy, a real bonus for any family on an extended trip. The Wi-Fi was reliable, keeping the teenagers content during downtime. What truly stood out was the service. The staff were consistently friendly, approachable, and eager to assist with any queries we had, from directions to local attractions to recommendations for family-friendly eateries. Their helpfulness made our stay significantly smoother and more enjoyable. The hotel's location was also very convenient, allowing us easy access to explore Changsha's key sights. While specific distances to attractions might vary depending on the particular Jato Hotel branch, we found our location to be a good starting point for our excursions. Overall, our experience at Jato Hotel was overwhelmingly positive. It offered a comfortable, clean, and family-friendly environment with excellent service. We would happily recommend it to other families looking for a welcoming and convenient place to stay in Changsha and would certainly consider staying here again on a future visit.

Era la prima volta che soggiornavo in questo hotel a Changsha e il servizio è stato eccellente. La colazione era deliziosa, la camera fantastica e la posizione vicinissima a Piazza Wuyi. Ci tornerei sicuramente se dovessi tornare. I due giovani addetti alla reception del turno mattutino sono stati particolarmente gentili e premurosi. L'hotel è inoltre molto vicino all'Isola delle Arance e al Monte Yuelu.

Un'ottima scelta per soggiornare vicino a Wuyi Square, l'esperienza ha superato le aspettative sotto ogni aspetto. La posizione è incredibilmente comoda, vicina a Wuyi Square, quindi non sono necessari lunghi spostamenti per le attività turistiche. La camera presenta un raffinato arredamento in stile cinese, con pannelli in legno e ornamenti che richiamano l'estetica orientale. La vista panoramica sul fiume è eccezionale, permettendo di ammirare comodamente il tramonto e le luci notturne dello Xiangjiang. La pulizia della camera è impeccabile e la biancheria da letto è estremamente confortevole, perfetta per riposarsi dopo una giornata di visite. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. La prossima volta che tornerò a Changsha, sceglierò nuovamente questo hotel.
