Hotel pet friendly a Changsha

L'aria condizionata aveva un problema con il raffreddamento. Era impostata a 17 gradi, ma la temperatura della stanza era sempre di 33 gradi. Faceva così caldo mentre mi asciugavo i capelli e mi truccavo. Ho avvisato il servizio clienti, ma non mi hanno risposto né spiegato nulla. Ero senza parole.

La posizione era eccellente, e il personale era sempre gentile e utile durante il mio soggiorno. Tuttavia, sono stati due i problemi che hanno influenzato la mia esperienza. Prima di tutto, avevo chiesto una stanza vicino all'ascensore perché mi stava viaggiando con diversi sacchetti pesanti e uno strumento musicale, ma purtroppo la mia stanza era molto lontana dall'ascensore. La maggior parte della strada era coperta di un telaio di spessore, che rendeva molto difficile ruotare la mia valigia e portare il mio strumento. In secondo luogo, sebbene mi sia stato chiesto di non fumare, la stanza aveva un forte odore di fumo di sigarette, e l’odore sembrava infilato nella stanza e era molto sgradevole durante il mio soggiorno. In generale, l'hotel dispone di una posizione eccellente e di personale amichevole, ma spero che queste questioni possano essere migliorate per i futuri ospiti.

From the moment I arrived, the architectural charm stood out: sleek, modern white buildings nestled against a lush forest backdrop, with rustic stone retaining walls adding a warm, earthy contrast. The interiors are just as thoughtfully designed—cozy lounge areas feature a crackling wood-burning stove that invites you to kick back and unwind (I spent hours with my feet up by the fire, sipping tea, and forgetting the outside world). The outdoor spaces are equally delightful: sun-dappled patios with soft flooring, where my spaniel wandered by (a sweet, unexpected touch!), and gravel paths that lead to sweeping views of the wooded hills. Every corner feels intentional, balancing minimalist design with the raw beauty of the surrounding nature. What truly makes this place special is the tranquility. It’s quiet enough to hear the rustle of leaves and birdsong, yet the amenities are comfortable and well-appointed—no roughing it here. The staff (though I didn’t interact much, thanks to the seclusion) seemed attentive, and the little touches (like the firewood stacked neatly by the stove) made the stay feel personal and cared for. If I had to nitpick, it’s that the remote location means you’ll need a car to explore nearby spots—but that’s part of the appeal for a true escape. Rating: 5/5 This hotel isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a chance to slow down, breathe, and soak in nature’s beauty. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The majority of Changsha's attractions are located near Wuyi Square. It is prudent to book a hotel near this focus area. I booked this motel as it is a reputable hotel chain. It is located right beside Taiping Street, an old shopping alley since ancient times. The chain motel is now named Magnolio Hotel (Wuyi Square Branch). Changsha was my last destination of my 10-day Hunan trip. I did not follow any travel agency and explore based on my research. When we arrived at Changsha from Fenghuang Ancient Town, I was shocked by the hot weather of 38 degrees. We were drenched with sweat and felt much better when in the cold air-conditioned lobby of the hotel. The fusion tea drinks at the lobby quenched much of our thirst. The location of this hotel is superb. It is only 150 m from Exit 1 of Wuyi Square metro station. Seniors above 65 years old, including foreigners, enjoy free metro travel in Changsha. We just showed our passports and there is no second question asked, and the staff will open the gate for you to access the station. Thus, travelling to the airport via metro is also free. Wuyi Square is Line 2 station. From Wuyi Square, you can change to Line 6 at Yinbing Station and take the Line 6 train directly to Terminal 1 & 2 of Huanghua International Airport and free. The metro station also provided shelter from the heat, and I explored Huangxin Pedestrian Street and IFC mall via the metro exits. The hotel receptionist informed me that they had upgraded my room to a bigger one for free. The toilet facilities and room are well renovated and clean though the room is still quite small. I stayed for 2 nights over here, and both me and my wife had wonderful sleep. There were also plenty of eateries and restaurants at the vicinity. Walmart is just 400 m away. For travel to attractions, Orange Island is only just two stations away at 橘子洲 station along Line 2, and for Mount Yuelu, it is only one station away at 溁 湾 镇 站 from 橘子洲 station For location, cleanliness, and staff responsiveness, I will give this hotel 10 points upon 10. Ho fatto un sacco di ricerche prima di prenotare un hotel per un'amica, e alla fine ha scelto questo! Ha detto che la hall era incredibilmente confortevole, la reception cordiale e il check-in velocissimo. La camera era ancora più spaziosa di quanto mostrassero le foto, pulitissima e la biancheria da letto incredibilmente comoda. Ha detto di aver dormito profondamente e che l'insonorizzazione era eccellente, quindi non è stata disturbata per niente. Anche la posizione era un vantaggio, a pochi passi da tutto ciò di cui aveva bisogno, il che la rendeva comoda per ristoranti e negozi. Ha anche elogiato la colazione, dicendo che era varia e deliziosa, ed è rimasta sorpresa dal rapporto qualità-prezzo. Il personale ha offerto il servizio di ritiro e riconsegna gratuito al momento del check-out, un gesto premuroso. Sembra che abbiamo fatto la scelta giusta. La mia amica è soddisfatta e anch'io sono felice. Questo hotel sarà sicuramente la mia prima scelta per i futuri amici che visiteranno questa zona.

This homestay is quite difficult to find, especially for international travelers who are unfamiliar with the area. It was unclear where to check in at first, and we had to ask the building’s information desk to help contact the owner before we could access the room. Fortunately, the owner was kind and helpful. The room itself is spacious with plenty of space. There was a slight cigarette smell, which is common in some places in China, but the highlight is the beautiful river view. Although some buildings partially block the view, it is still very impressive. This was our last night in China before returning home, and staying here became a very good memory. Downstairs, there is a nearby park where you can take a walk and watch elderly locals doing their daily activities, which feels very authentic and enjoyable. The location is convenient—close to a train station and easy to get to Orange Isle. Around the building, there are rice shops and cafés, so finding food is not a problem at all. A good choice for travelers who value views and atmosphere, and don’t mind a bit of inconvenience during check-in.

The staffs were friendly, helpful and efficient in their work. The location was excellent. The hotel was very clean and tidy. There were plenty of eating shops, groceries and other conveniences around. The Metro station entrance at the Wanda Plaza was only 5 minutes walk. The famous Taiping Old Street was another 5 minutes away. For meat lovers and food adventurers, Taiping Old Street is a must. The hotel has certainly embraced the AI era by using a cute robot to do the delivery work. I hope more hotels will follow soon. One area needs to be improved. This is regarding the direction to the hotel for guests from overseas like me. More direction signs be placed at strategic locations. At the same time a more detailed map be included in the website to guide the guests. Overall this hotel is highly recommended. My wife and I had a great time. See Yem KAN

My trip got cut short due to family emergency but my parent stayed at Xiangyu Xiangyue Apartment not too long ago and recommended this place so I am writing this on their behalf as they did not had the chance to do it. Location: The location is excellent — right beside IFS and within walking distance to Taiping Street, Wuyi Square Station, shopping malls, food streets, cafés, and convenience stores. Super convenient for both day and night activities. Apartment Condition: The room was clean, modern, and spacious compared to standard hotel rooms. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and the air-conditioning worked well. The apartment comes with basic amenities like a small fridge and kettle, which is great for longer stays. Building & Check-in: Since it’s an apartment-style stay, the entrance is inside a commercial building. Check-in was smooth and the host provided clear instructions, but first-time visitors may need to look around a bit to find the correct lift lobby. Service: The host was responsive and polite. Communication was easy, and they were helpful when I needed directions and recommendations. Noise Level: Because it’s in the busiest part of Changsha, some street noise can be heard at night — typical for such a central location. If you’re sensitive, you may want to request a higher floor. Overall: A great choice if you want convenience, modern comfort, and a prime location right next to IFS. It’s ideal for travellers who enjoy shopping, nightlife, and easy access to transportation.

The location is hard to find, it is not the exact location as written in the website, so we contacted the owner in the evening when we were going to check in. However I called through Trip.com the second times only pick up the call. We didn’t aware that we need to contact the owner one day in advance, they didn’t give us a remind on this. So our check-in process is very slow that night. It takes us two hours to contact, find hostel and check-in. They need us to pay for 300rmb as deposit. Overall the stay is okay, but there is no cups, plates or utensils.

Need to be able to call contact ahead of time (we chat best) to get door code. This is a homestay, more like a bed and breakfast. The location is fantastic and I loved the 4 bedroom layout! Very nice place with 1.5 baths. There were small detail issues like one of the bathroom doors was difficult to open (slider with missing handle and needing oil or better wheels?). If this is ok for you, you will be delighted with this stay. If you are exceptionally tall, the ceilings above and below the loft area may be uncomfortable, but didn't bother nor affect me. Beautiful window views. Our room was on 11th floor.
