UUtente ospiteThis hotel boasts an unbeatable location in the heart of Changsha’s shopping district, surrounded by street stalls and malls—perfect for those who love to explore and shop. It’s also just a short walk from TaiPing Ancient City, adding a touch of cultural charm. Plus, having a 24-hour convenience store right below makes it easy to grab anything you need at any time.
The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. With smart device controls, everything felt modern and effortless.
The bathroom was equally impressive—large, clean, and well-equipped with a heated toilet bowl and a great heated shower. A special shoutout to their Dyson-equivalent hairdryer, which was a pleasant surprise!
The service was also top-notch. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist. The complimentary laundry service was a great added convenience, making our stay even more comfortable.
If there was one minor downside, it would be that the 3-person room we booked only came with 4 pillows instead of 6. Since we each like to have something to hug while sleeping, a couple more would have been ideal. That said, this was just a small detail and didn’t take away from the overall experience.
All in all, a fantastic stay—highly recommended!

UUtente ospiteHotel in una posizione eccellente – molto vicino al metro e con facile accesso alle attrazioni turistiche sia con metro che taxi. Ci sono molti stalloni di cibo stradale e piccoli piatti vicino. Un'accento è la magnolia che cresce nell'edificio, che è davvero impressionante. Le camere sono confortevoli con letti comodi, e il proprietario è molto utile e amichevole. Perfetto luogo per un soggiorno comodo.

YYxonMy trip got cut short due to family emergency but my parent stayed at Xiangyu Xiangyue Apartment not too long ago and recommended this place so I am writing this on their behalf as they did not had the chance to do it.
Location:
The location is excellent — right beside IFS and within walking distance to Taiping Street, Wuyi Square Station, shopping malls, food streets, cafés, and convenience stores. Super convenient for both day and night activities.
Apartment Condition:
The room was clean, modern, and spacious compared to standard hotel rooms. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and the air-conditioning worked well. The apartment comes with basic amenities like a small fridge and kettle, which is great for longer stays.
Building & Check-in:
Since it’s an apartment-style stay, the entrance is inside a commercial building. Check-in was smooth and the host provided clear instructions, but first-time visitors may need to look around a bit to find the correct lift lobby.
Service:
The host was responsive and polite. Communication was easy, and they were helpful when I needed directions and recommendations.
Noise Level:
Because it’s in the busiest part of Changsha, some street noise can be heard at night — typical for such a central location. If you’re sensitive, you may want to request a higher floor.
Overall:
A great choice if you want convenience, modern comfort, and a prime location right next to IFS. It’s ideal for travellers who enjoy shopping, nightlife, and easy access to transportation.

志志玮Il mio soggiorno era deluso per la scarsa condizione e la manutenzione della stanza, e le pareti erano danneggiate, i patch non finiti, e i segni di danni all’umidità vicino alla finestra, che sollevano preoccupazioni per l’igiene. Anche il pavimento si sentiva indossato e l'interno del gabinetto sembrava trascurato.
L'appartamento e la dimensione erano fantastici per la famiglia, ma mancavano le mansioni.
Il personale è stato utile e responsabile, e l'hotel è convenientemente situato.

UUtente anonimoHo prenotato una camera senza finestre all'ultimo minuto per un viaggio di lavoro e l'esperienza è stata sorprendentemente fantastica. Il design sigillato ha isolato il rumore esterno, garantendo un riposo extra tranquillo sia durante la pausa pranzo che di notte. Il sistema di ventilazione ha risolto il problema della mancanza di finestre, mantenendo l'aria interna fresca e priva di odori. La pulizia era impeccabile, senza macchie sul pavimento o nel bagno. Frigorifero, prodotti da bagno e un potente asciugacapelli erano tutti presenti. Nel tempo libero ho potuto trascorrere il tempo guardando serie TV in streaming. Situato in un edificio commerciale con sicurezza rigorosa, la metropolitana sottostante porta direttamente alle principali attrazioni e nei dintorni ci sono numerosi ristoranti. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è di gran lunga superiore ad altri hotel della zona. Tornerò sicuramente qui per i miei prossimi viaggi di lavoro.

MMBW_La stanza era moderna e pulita con un riscaldamento conduttivo. È possibile controllare in anticipo per un supplemento se vuoi. Disponibile quotidianamente custodia, microonde, lavatrice, asciugacapelli e detergente gratis per l'uso degli ospiti. Molti buoni cibi locali su entrambe le strade, da un lato dell'edificio.
La stanza aveva un piano per la finestra che si apriva all’esterno della strada, in modo che non potessi aprirla, che non significava luce naturale.
La ragazza alla ricezione (giorno/mattuno) era inamichevole e sembrava annoiata ogni volta che chiese aiuto.

YYanyongqianI got Ctrip.com service centre at Changsha Huanghua Airport to advise me how to contact Sycamore Tree Hotel to pick me up and I managed to contact Sycamore Tree Hotel Uncle Liu to pick me up at column C6. The exit is next to the Ctrip.com service centre of the airport and there are long queues of cars awaiting to pick up guests at the airport.
Sycamore Tree Hotel is an hourly-rated hotel that allows guests to stay up to seven hours a day or to the next day. It has a three-hours room stay package for guests who are transitting to another city on the same day but since Trip.com is selling the room based on per day basis, I paid less than $30 to stay until 8 pm on the same day.
To kill time, under my request, Uncle Liu chaufferred me to two plane-spotting sites around the Changsha airport for plane photography at a return fee of 150 RMB from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, including Gao'an Village Committee Building and the premises around Hunan General Aviation Building. This fee includes the driver's waiting time.
Uncle Liu has very good knowledge on plane-spotting and I recommend plane-spotters to stay in this hotel if their purpose of visiting Changsha is plane-spotting.
Uncle Liu quipped that he also can bring guests to Zhangjiajie in Hunan.
While the staff of Sycamore Tree Hotel is friendly, I would like to comment that the room allocated to me has no window, no regular-size table for me to write on paper and no chair. It takes a long time for the room to turn cool after switching on the air-conditioner. The toilet-cum-bathroom only has the small bath towel for body wiping purpose. Overall, the room is worse than the single room of Toyoko Inn. Despite the insufficiencies in the room, I recommend this hotel for staff friendliness, airport pick-up/drop-off services and local transport service.
For breakfast and other meals, there is the bun shop next door and the noodles restaurant of one minute walk away from the hotel. For recreation, there is the games machine outside the hotel.
I will stay at Sycamore Tree Hotel again if there were another opportunity of an onward flight at night from Changsha to another city airport.

JJuvieJEntrance and lift to the right tower was a little hard to find initially, especially for us who don't understand much Chinese and lift change to a different tower is required. Written instruction would've been useful.
Room is ok, very low ceiling, nearly touched our head. Very cramped and not as spacious and nice as in photo.
Lots of marks and scratches on the floor. Shower area is not clean, hair from previous stay still there.
Our washing machine was broken. It couldn't be fixed in the 3 nights we stayed. The technician came on the second day and the floor was left dirty. We were offered to use the washing machine in a different unit, but with no dryer, it made it difficult.
The electricity went out on our first morning and there was no power for about 3-4 hours. Then the evacuation building evacuation notice came on, twice that morning. We evacuated as that's the norm in our country. We're later told it's just a testing. It would've been nice if we were informed or there's some kind of communication on the floor. Very disruptive as we have young children. The evacuation drill happened again the next morning. We knew then to stay.
The best thing about this apartment is the location. Close to all the hustle and bustle is Changsha, lots of eateries choices. On the negative side, we could hear thumping music and felt the vibration from nearby clubs until 3-4 in the morning.
