Hotel 2 stelle a Changsha

La camera era spaziosa, il personale molto accogliente e la camera era completamente attrezzata. Sceglierei sicuramente di nuovo questo posto la prossima volta che sarò a Changsha. Una camera così grande per poco più di 100 yuan offre un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. La posizione è ottima, proprio nel cuore di Changsha, vicino alla stazione della metropolitana, il che la rende comoda per andare ovunque. Ci sono molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze e mi sono divertito molto a esplorare. La guesthouse offre un servizio di maggiordomo serale, ottimo anche se si torna tardi. Pollice in su!

Hotel in una posizione eccellente – molto vicino al metro e con facile accesso alle attrazioni turistiche sia con metro che taxi. Ci sono molti stalloni di cibo stradale e piccoli piatti vicino. Un'accento è la magnolia che cresce nell'edificio, che è davvero impressionante. Le camere sono confortevoli con letti comodi, e il proprietario è molto utile e amichevole. Perfetto luogo per un soggiorno comodo.

La signorina alla reception è stata molto attenta, cordiale e disponibile. Il check-in è stato rapido e ha risolto prontamente ogni nostro problema. Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta, un ottimo hotel! Se venite a Changsha, dovete assolutamente soggiornare qui, ci si sente al sicuro. Ci tornerò sicuramente la prossima volta. È vicino a Pozi Street e al piano di sotto c'è Taiping Old Street, la posizione è davvero eccellente e la sera è molto vivace.

The girl with the glasses who runs the front desk should rule the world. She works very hard, is very kind, and very attentive. This is our second stay at this hotel and both times she even did our laundry for us. Please give her a raise! We were amazed we could get this done for free and the hotel itself is very nice, clean, and convenient. The location is fantastic, the price is cheap for how nice the place is, and as I mentioned, the service is incredible. I would definitely stay here again.

I got Ctrip.com service centre at Changsha Huanghua Airport to advise me how to contact Sycamore Tree Hotel to pick me up and I managed to contact Sycamore Tree Hotel Uncle Liu to pick me up at column C6. The exit is next to the Ctrip.com service centre of the airport and there are long queues of cars awaiting to pick up guests at the airport. Sycamore Tree Hotel is an hourly-rated hotel that allows guests to stay up to seven hours a day or to the next day. It has a three-hours room stay package for guests who are transitting to another city on the same day but since Trip.com is selling the room based on per day basis, I paid less than $30 to stay until 8 pm on the same day. To kill time, under my request, Uncle Liu chaufferred me to two plane-spotting sites around the Changsha airport for plane photography at a return fee of 150 RMB from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, including Gao'an Village Committee Building and the premises around Hunan General Aviation Building. This fee includes the driver's waiting time. Uncle Liu has very good knowledge on plane-spotting and I recommend plane-spotters to stay in this hotel if their purpose of visiting Changsha is plane-spotting. Uncle Liu quipped that he also can bring guests to Zhangjiajie in Hunan. While the staff of Sycamore Tree Hotel is friendly, I would like to comment that the room allocated to me has no window, no regular-size table for me to write on paper and no chair. It takes a long time for the room to turn cool after switching on the air-conditioner. The toilet-cum-bathroom only has the small bath towel for body wiping purpose. Overall, the room is worse than the single room of Toyoko Inn. Despite the insufficiencies in the room, I recommend this hotel for staff friendliness, airport pick-up/drop-off services and local transport service. For breakfast and other meals, there is the bun shop next door and the noodles restaurant of one minute walk away from the hotel. For recreation, there is the games machine outside the hotel. I will stay at Sycamore Tree Hotel again if there were another opportunity of an onward flight at night from Changsha to another city airport.

Need to be able to call contact ahead of time (we chat best) to get door code. This is a homestay, more like a bed and breakfast. The location is fantastic and I loved the 4 bedroom layout! Very nice place with 1.5 baths. There were small detail issues like one of the bathroom doors was difficult to open (slider with missing handle and needing oil or better wheels?). If this is ok for you, you will be delighted with this stay. If you are exceptionally tall, the ceilings above and below the loft area may be uncomfortable, but didn't bother nor affect me. Beautiful window views. Our room was on 11th floor.
