This hotel has everything, comfortable room, great amenities, fantastic restaurant (don’t miss the Asian buffet on Wednesday nights) and fantastic location ( transfer busses to all the ski locations right on your door step plus just one block from the Main Street). The staff are so helpful. We can’t wait to visit again.

AAnjingTracyLa casa sorpresa, abbiamo trascorso due notti felici qui.La stanza è molto pulita e pulita, la cucina e la sala da letto sono insieme, la camera da letto è più grande di quanto immaginato e il letto è molto comodo.C'è caldo e bagno da usare. Chiediamo al personale di aiutarci a vivere in fuoco. Ci sono microonde e ascensori, ci sono semplici attrezzi da cucina. Andiamo al supermercato per comprare cibo da soli e fare la cena.C'è un piccolo gilet di pasticceria sotto il pavimento.L'hotel ha la propria piscina di zuppa, molto piccola, siamo troppo stanchi per andare a fare il bagno.Il personale è molto entusiasta, la vecchia serratura della porta non è molto utile.

From the moment we checked in, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our experience memorable. The property itself feels tucked away in the trees, offering peace and quiet while still being just a few minutes from downtown Banff.
The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a rustic mountain vibe that fit perfectly with the surroundings. I especially loved the fireplace—it made evenings feel warm and relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchenette was well-equipped, which was a nice bonus for preparing meals.
The views from the resort are stunning. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and seeing the Rockies right outside my window was unforgettable. On-site amenities like the hot tub and pool added to the experience, especially after long hikes.
What stood out most was the balance between comfort and nature. It felt like having a private cabin in the mountains but with all the convenience of a resort.
I’d highly recommend Tunnel Mountain Resort for couples, families, or anyone wanting a true Banff escape. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation, comfort, and breathtaking scenery—I’m already looking forward to coming back!

UUtente ospiteExcellent location in Banff! Near stores and restaurants with awesome views around. Very friendly staff too.
The room itself was quite clean except that as soon as we entered, there were flies including fruit flies… Other than that, the room was big and warm. It had a keep safe too.
The washroom was quite small, it was hard to close the door but it worked out.

LLai HengOverall, it is a good stay in Banff. Walking distance to the mail street. There is one thing that can be improved, you can only go to the basement carpark after you check in at the counter. However, there is no space around the hotel front to temporarily park your car while you check in.

UUtente anonimoStayed for a short weekend trip in Nov. We got a nice corner room on the third floor with 1 king bed and it was really cozy and comfortable with a mountain view. Unfortunately, the hot tub was closed at that time for maintenance (?). Overall, I would highly recommend it.

UUtente ospiteThey need assigned parking, otherwise you might end up having to park aways a way from your room. Also the walk way to our unit and stairway was all covered with snow and ice. It would’ve been nice if it was all cleaned before we got there. We had to ask the front desk three times before anything was done. Also we wanted to go into the hot tubs, but we were unable to. Due to there was way too much many people that were in there at the time. So we left for a couple hours and came back, thought ok let’s try again (hot tub). Once again unable to cause it was still packed with the same people. Other than that, everything was pretty good.

La posizione è perfetta, a soli 10 minuti a piedi dal centro, così si evita la difficoltà di cercare di trovare parcheggio nel centro. Se camminare non è una scelta per voi (limitazioni fisiche, vacanza lenta ...o Hanover) c'è un fermo di autobus fuori. C'è un ristorante attaccato se vuoi solo restare in una volta. La nostra stanza era grande e pulita con frigorifero a microonde e caffè. No, ma non sono neanche io, e al prezzo, assolutamente bene!

UUtente ospiteWe did a little staycation in Banff from Calgary and overall had a great time.
The cave pool was a big hit, but just a heads up that it’s not really a “swimming pool.” It’s more like a large cave-style hot tub. It’s shallow, and the water is fairly hot, so the kids couldn’t really swim or put their faces under the water. The cave setup is very cool though, and the adults really enjoyed it for relaxing. The dry sauna was also great.
We stayed in a suite with two double beds, plus a living area with a sofa bed, a dining area, and a kitchenette. We were happy with the layout. The suite was clean, but it is definitely dated.
One downside was the TVs. I know you don’t go to Banff to sit and watch TV, but it would be nice if they updated to smart TVs. If you’re traveling with kids, I’d suggest bringing a Fire Stick or Chromecast. Even an HDMI cable to connect a laptop would work, but make sure you download movies ahead of time because the Wi-Fi in our area was pretty spotty and the kids kept losing connection.
The front desk staff were fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. They made parking easy, provided bus passes, and explained local info without us having to ask a bunch of questions.
We’d stay here again, and next time we’ll definitely bring something for the TV so we can do an easy movie night after a busy day.
