EastSeven Hostel is clean, modern and well maintained. There are many young volunteers, and the staff are friendly and easy to talk to.
Breakfast is available from 6:00 to 10:00, mainly milk and cereals. The hostel has a strong social vibe, with movie nights, drinking games and quiz nights. Many guests go clubbing together. The female dorm stays quiet at night.
There are unisex bathroom and female-only bathroom, both with separate shower areas. The rooms are warm, with good heating, bedside lights and a hair dryer available (in the bathroom. ) — very comfortable in Berlin winter.
Public transport is close: about a 5-minute walk to the U-Bahn and 10 minutes to bus stops. The airport is around 1 hour away, and Berlin Central Station just over 20 minutes.
Tip: during U2 construction near Senefelderplatz, ride one extra stop toward Pankow and change back.
Overall, a solid choice if you want a clean, social hostel with easy transport access.

Il giardino è anche fantastico, tutto bene!Molto consigliato.

Ccheuk lai wongEsperienza di ostello davvero piacevole. Ogni cosa è abbastanza buona e il personale è davvero gentile, ti fa sentire come se fossi il benvenuto. Hanno un servizio di assistenza 24 ore su 24, quindi è davvero buono per coloro che hanno voli molto presto／notte.

Sono andato in anticipo e ho potuto depositare i bagagli gratuitamente Dopo il check-out, ho lasciato i bagagli per mezza giornata in più per 1 euro. La colazione non è consigliata. Ci sono solo pochi tipi di pane particolarmente duro e caffè normale. Il trasporto è a 6 o 7 minuti da Alexanderplatz e vicino alla stazione ferroviaria. Nel complesso consigliato.

GGeiorgiestravelsThis is a very big hostel with hundreds of beds, though it did not feel cramped or loud. I had a quiet stay.
I stayed for 2 nights in a mixed dorm with three bunk beds and en-suite. The toilet and shower are separate which makes use easier. Hanson’s and shower gel is included, as is a hairdryer.
The room is spacious with tables and seating areas, this is also of use to those who on the top bunk who cannot sit on their bed as easily. There is a mirror though a lack of hooks being only a hook and couple of hangers. The bed is of a metal frame and thus I was able to apply my travel straps and hooks to create places to hand my coat and bag. There is a locker big enough to take hand luggage sized bag (own lock needed). The bed has a usb port for charging and a slot into which a phone will fit, though no individual light. The room has two lights and it is possible to turn on only one; the other people in my room came in and out at unsociable hours though we’re all respectful being quiet and also putting in the main light.
The mattress and pillow are comfy enough, you need to collect linen and make the bed yourself.
Everything was clean.
Reception is 24 hours though checking us via one of the 4 automated screens. It is through the machines that you do check in and pay tourist tax and the machine prints paper with your allocated room and bed number. You even activate the room card yourself. There is a sign in the desk with a map of blocks with room numbers in each one. That is all the welcome that you get; there is no explanation related to hostel layout or facilities. I had to ask in which direction to go to get to my block, the receptionist gave my directions and once I got to the room and found no bedding on the bed so went back to reception. The check in computer screen states that bed linen is provided free of charge and towels can be paid for at reception. The receptionist did not give me any bedding nor point to where to where to pick it up some thus I assumed the linen would be laid on the bed as in other hostels. The next day a person arriving in the room asked where he gets bed linen, he also did not get given any bedding even when talking with the receptionist. I do find it odd that you are expected to ask for the bedding: as this is the case I recommend updating the wording on the computer screen as it is ambiguous and gives the impression you only need to ask at reception if needing a towel.
There is a guest kitchen which has basic equipment: fridge, sink, microwave, 2 hot plates, 2 frying pans, 1 saucepan, some plates, bowls and some cutlery. There was one mug in which I made a cup of tea by heating water in the microwave. I recommend a kettle to boil water. The kitchen is sufficient for simple meals, making breakfast and sandwiches. I did not try the hostel breakfast.
There is one common area near reception with a bar and possibility to purchase food. Vending machines there. WiFi reliable. The common room can feel cramped when groups are there. There is good security as all entrance doors and lifts use card access. To access the guest kitchen ask at reception and they update your card.
The location is very good being 5 min walk from Ostkreuz train station. It is a direct line to Messe Nord where the bus station and FlixBus stop is. Easy to get public transportation into the cities. There are many shops, supermarkets and eating places nearby. Vegan kebab shop directly opposite.
Good value for money. I had a comfortable stay with no difficulties and I would stay again.

Il letto era pulito, ma dovete fare il vostro letto e portare il letto al checkout per ricevere il deposito.
Molto buona posizione centrale, ma le mie due notti erano tranquille, quindi era un bel soggiorno.
La cucina è ben attrezzata con una microonde, forbici, pannelli e frigoriferi, ma è aperta solo 8:00-22:00.
Una grande esperienza, in generale, si sentiva al sicuro.

Its location is excellent—right in the heart of Alexanderplatz, surrounded by public transport, plenty of food options, grocery stores, and nearby sights. However, through no fault of the hotel, it sits very close to a church whose bells ring extremely loudly at 8 a.m. every morning. Even with earplugs, I was woken up daily.
The front desk staff were friendly, check‑in was easy, and I really appreciated the keyless entry system using door codes—one less thing to worry about misplacing. The room itself is a smart use of space for a short stay or for travellers who mainly need a place to rest rather than spend long periods inside. I liked the bunk bed for one child above the main bed, and the convenient light switches by the beds.
The pillows, however, were a real disappointment—completely lacking firmness. My travel partner didn’t use theirs at all, saying, “It’s no use pretending it’s doing anything.” I’d recommend requesting extra pillows unless you prefer sleeping very flat. One thing I wasn’t aware of beforehand is that the shower is not enclosed behind a bathroom door. If you’re sharing with people you’re not fully comfortable with, this could be an issue. You may need to coordinate shower times so others can step out. The toilet, at least, is in its own separate space. The shower has a combined hair/body wash, but there’s no complimentary body lotion or tissues. I didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that, and there’s no complimentary coffee available.
I would stay here again if it weren’t for the church bells. If you’re a deep sleeper, it may not bother you, but light sleepers should be aware.

BBernd54La reception è gestita da amiche donne anziane che si adoperano molto per il bene degli ospiti. Nella stanza tutto è: belle tovaglie in coperta sul letto, gel da doccia, sapone liquido per la lavanderia nel bagno.
Il colazione era meglio di quanto pensassi: pane fresco, formaggio, S*****e, salsa, uova, torta, ecc. Solo il tè di sacchetto era un po' vecchio. Ma altrimenti tutto bene, anche i serbatoi di rifiuti da tavola erano disponibili.
L'hotel è stato incastrato sul buco per alcuni anni e i mobili sono stati un po' distratti, il letto si è arrampicato forte e la doccia non era completamente pulita. C'è un po' di fumo di sigarette freddo, anche se è un hotel non fumatore, ma è stato molto inconfortabile per le receptionist. Trovare un parcheggio pubblico per l'auto era un sogno di incubo, quindi ho accettato l'offerta di un parcheggio dietro l'hotel. Ecco che era ben sollevato.

Il letto singolo era comodo, il bagno era pulito con doccia e buona pressione idrica. Non troverai sapone nel bagno, ma ti danno dello shampoo e anche una spazzola dentale. Tuttavia, nessun pasto dentale. La persona al check-in insisteva sul pagamento dell'imposta sulla città in contanti, anche se vi erano segni Visa, Mastercard e Amex ovunque. La tassa per la città era più elevata di quanto indicato nella conferma della prenotazione e mi è stato fornito un ricevimento scritto di un importo inferiore a quello effettivamente pagato. Questo dettaglio mi fa pensare se i proprietari di immobili pagano i loro doveri in modo corretto.
