Grande hotel, buone camere moderne solo cosa la TV non ha una funzionalità intelligente. Solo 1 ascensore su 3 funzionano, quindi devi passare un po' di tempo aspettandolo e si sta occupando a volte. Colazione 10/10 un sacco di opzioni per ogni tipo. Grande posizione.Molti ristoranti intorno, shopping, mercato di Natale.Trasporti pubblici come Underground o autobus si fermano pochi minuti a piedi

We recently stayed at The Circus Hotel in Berlin, taking two rooms for a short family trip. The experience was, in many respects, excellent. The location is ideal—central, with easy access to public transport and within walking distance of a huge variety of restaurants and shops. Service throughout was truly commendable. Staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful at every turn. The hotel bar is a genuine highlight—stylish, welcoming, and well-stocked. We especially appreciated the honesty bar and terrace upstairs, which made for a beautiful, relaxed afternoon during our stay. Breakfast was another strong point, offering a good variety of quality options in a comfortable setting. The rooms themselves are well-sized, clean, and nicely appointed. However, there’s a major issue that any traveller should be aware of: there is no real air conditioning. What’s provided is what I would describe as a comfort cooling system—more symbolic than functional. During our stay, temperatures hovered around 25 °C during the day and 18 °C at night, yet the rooms remained unpleasantly warm. Both rooms had fans, and the windows had to be opened to let in any real cool air. It’s quite clear that the hotel expects guests to rely on the fans, which is not acceptable given the climate realities of Berlin summers. This significantly affected our comfort and sleep. For travel between late May and early October, I would strongly caution against booking unless you’re completely indifferent to room temperature. It’s unfortunate, because in almost every other respect, The Circus Hotel is a real gem. I genuinely wanted to love it, and in cooler months, I very likely would. But the absence of proper climate control is a deal-breaker in warmer weather, and it’s clear the hotel is aware of the issue—hence the fans in every room. Pros: • Excellent location • Superb service • Great breakfast • Fantastic bar and terrace • Generous room size Cons: • No air conditioning—only a weak cooling system and fans • Rooms become uncomfortably warm even in moderate summer temperatures Conclusion: A brilliant hotel during cooler seasons. But for summer stays, particularly with children or light sleepers, the lack of proper climate control unfortunately outweighs the many positives.

I stayed at the nhow Hotel Berlin with friends for 6 nights around New Year's. While there were some positive aspects, overall, the experience felt quite inconsistent for a 4-star hotel. The positives: - The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. - Soundproofing between the rooms was good. - The staff was very friendly and welcoming. However, there were numerous issues that detracted from the experience: - Reservation Mix-Up: I had specifically requested two single beds instead of a double bed, but this was not reflected in the room assignment upon arrival. - Missing Amenities: Basic items in a hotel like bathrobes and slippers were missing from the room, and we were told to order them via room service. Unfortunately, the app didn’t work, and no one at the reception answered the phone despite multiple attempts on different days. - Light and Noise Issues: While the rooms were soundproofed well from other rooms, we could hear everything happening in the hallway. Additionally, there was a gap under the door, letting light from the corridor into the room at night, which made it impossible to have complete darkness. - Wellness Area: The wellness area was underwhelming. There was no jacuzzi, only a sauna and a hammam, and the hammam was out of service. The gym locker room lights stopped working after a certain time, and towels were unavailable later in the day. - Misleading Information: A brochure in the room mentioned that phone chargers were available via room service. However, we were told at the reception that these were no longer provided for free and had to be purchased for €20. While the hotel wasn’t bad overall, these recurring small issues added up and left us feeling that the service didn’t meet the expectations for a 4-star establishment. It’s a shame because we did enjoy our stay to some extent, but the lack of attention to detail was disappointing. If I return to Berlin, I won’t rule out staying here again, but I’ll definitely check other options first.

Nel complesso mi piace questo hotel. Tuttavia il servizio di una receptionist maleducata dovrebbe essere migliorato. L'esperienza di check-in è stata rovinata dalla receptionist. Servizio alla reception Il pagamento completo, comprese le tasse comunali, è stato effettuato tramite la mia carta di credito al momento della prenotazione. I pagamenti effettuati e la ripartizione, comprese le tasse comunali, sono indicati molto chiaramente sul voucher di prenotazione. Tuttavia, nonostante ciò, mi è stato chiesto di pagare un deposito di importo vicino a 600 euro, che era l'importo totale del mio soggiorno pagato tramite la mia carta di credito. Davvero, quando ho sentito questo, sono rimasto scioccato dall'”intelligenza” di questa receptionist. Deve essere istruita su cosa sia ”l'equivalente in valuta estera” e avere un po' di buonsenso. Ho contestato e ho insistito sul fatto che avevo pagato l'importo intero, comprese le tasse comunali, che era indicato molto chiaramente sul voucher di prenotazione. Lena era d'accordo con me e ha ribadito a questa receptionist che il voucher di prenotazione affermava effettivamente che tutti i pagamenti, comprese le tasse comunali, erano stati effettuati. Dopodiché, la receptionist se n'è andata in modo scortese senza scusarsi. Le receptionist dovrebbero essere formate e il loro servizio dovrebbe essere migliorato. Innanzitutto, avrebbero dovuto controllare che avessi pagato per intero e non avrebbero dovuto garantire un deposito di quasi 600 euro. Solo quando ho chiesto, hanno ricontrollato, ma senza scusarsi. In secondo luogo, anche dopo aver ricontrollato, non hanno verificato chiaramente che le tasse comunali fossero state pagate e hanno insistito affinché le pagassi. Nessuna scusa nemmeno quando l'hanno scoperto. Il servizio della receptionist (una ragazza bassa con i capelli ricci) è stato così scortese e non si è scusata, anche se aveva torto in primo luogo. Ho evidenziato questo problema e il feedback al capoturno, Andreas Levi, e gli ho parlato delle receptionist. È andato subito a controllare e ha confermato che tutti i pagamenti, comprese le tasse comunali, erano stati effettuati in anticipo tramite carta di credito. Grazie Andreas Levi per aver controllato e aver reso migliore il nostro soggiorno. Letto Non so perché alcuni letti abbiano piumoni/copriletto mentre altri no. I letti con piumoni sono così comodi! Il nostro letto senza piumoni. Colazione Per gli standard europei, penso che la colazione in questo hotel sia considerata buona. Con pochi cibi caldi come pancetta troppo cotta, salsiccia troppo cotta, fagioli al forno e uova. La frittata è buona (grazie allo chef!) Alcune selezioni di pane, molte scelte di tè di buona qualità. Poche selezioni di succhi. Macchina per il caffè. Favo di miele fresco. Acqua omaggio È strano che l'acqua omaggio venga fornita agli ospiti solo per la prima notte, nonostante io rimanga 3 notti. È la prima volta che mi capita in Europa. Forse gli ospiti dovrebbero effettuare una prenotazione diversa per ogni notte. Vicinanza a treni e attrazioni Vicinanza alle stazioni ferroviarie e ad alcune attrazioni principali. Riepilogo Il servizio generale è stato buono (tranne per una receptionist maleducata). Consiglierò comunque questo hotel. Prendete la colazione.

Viaggiavo spesso in hotel e dormivo molte notti all'anno, non avevo mai avuto la situazione che avevo quando sono arrivato a Hilton Berlin. Ho prenotato e pagato per una “Camera gemella con Dome View” circa 4 mesi prima del viaggio. Al check-in, mi è stato automaticamente assegnato una stanza che non era né gemella né Dome View (potete vedere la vista nelle immagini sottostanti); sono tornato alla ricezione due volte, a lamentarmi che non fosse la stanza che avevo prenotato, il personale dell'hotel era più sfavorevole, Non mi hanno permesso di parlare con il manager, non hanno fornito alcuna soluzione o alcun tipo di compensazione, la loro risposta era semplicemente che l’hotel era stato prenotato e che non c’era niente che potessero fare. Questo era sbagliato per diverse ragioni, prima mi assegnarono una stanza che aveva solo un letto, secondo non mi offrirono alcuna soluzione, eccetto aggiungere un letto di rotoli alla stanza, terzo non mi permettevano di parlare con il manager. Sono molto deluso, queste esperienze non appartengono a una catena hotel come Hilton. Questo incidente sfortunato ha inciso il mio soggiorno all'hotel. Spero che questa recensione possa in qualche modo essere rivolta a qualcuno a Hilton e fare qualcosa per evitare che altri ospiti abbiano un'esperienza simile. Inoltre, le strutture della sauna non erano apparentemente parte del prezzo della camera (non si parlava di questo), e quando ho controllato, ho scoperto che dovevo pagare ogni volta che ho usato la sauna.

La stanza era molto pulita. L'hotel è situato in centro. Camminando da un centro commerciale e dalla stazione ferroviaria. Abbiamo cercato di ordinare servizio in camera, ma non abbiamo avuto modo di farlo e quando abbiamo chiamato la ricezione ci hanno detto di guardare nella stanza per il menu. Abbiamo solo un colazione. Inoltre, tutto il resto era fantastico.

La reception è stata piuttosto poco accogliente: gli ospiti hanno dovuto registrarsi su un tablet iPad dopo essersi rivolti attivamente al personale. Non c'era un ”Benvenuto” o qualcosa di simile. L'aparthotel è paragonabile a un B&B. È arredato in modo funzionale, ma non adeguatamente attrezzato per un appartamento: non ci sono piatti, bicchieri o posate. L'acqua della doccia trabocca spesso perché lo scarico non è in buone condizioni. I letti sembrano comodi, ma in realtà sono molto duri. Non posso assolutamente consigliare la colazione dal prezzo esorbitante. A quel prezzo, si può fare una colazione doppia in un bar vicino. Per quanto riguarda la posizione: è raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Gesundbrunnen, quindi è ben collegato con i mezzi pubblici. ... Conclusione: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 per la pulizia ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 per la posizione ⭐️ 1/5 per il servizio ⭐️⭐️ 2/5 per i comfort

This is a very big hostel with hundreds of beds, though it did not feel cramped or loud. I had a quiet stay.   I stayed for 2 nights in a mixed dorm with three bunk beds and en-suite. The toilet and shower are separate which makes use easier. Hanson’s and shower gel is included, as is a hairdryer.   The room is spacious with tables and seating areas, this is also of use to those who on the top bunk who cannot sit on their bed as easily.  There is a mirror though a lack of hooks being only a hook and couple of hangers. The bed is of a metal frame and thus I was able to apply my travel straps and hooks to create places to hand my coat and bag. There is a locker big enough to take hand luggage sized bag (own lock needed).  The bed has a usb port for charging and a slot into which a phone will fit, though no individual light. The room has two lights and it is possible to turn on only one; the other people in my room came in and out at unsociable hours though we’re all respectful being quiet and also putting in the main light.   The mattress and pillow are comfy enough, you need to collect linen and make the bed yourself.  Everything was clean.  Reception is 24 hours though checking us via one of the 4 automated screens. It is through the machines that you do check in and pay tourist tax and the machine prints paper with your allocated room and bed number. You even activate the room card yourself. There is a sign in the desk with a map of blocks with room numbers in each one. That is all the welcome that you get; there is no explanation related to hostel layout or facilities. I had to ask in which direction to go to get to my block, the receptionist gave my directions and once I got to the room and found no bedding on the bed so went back to reception. The check in computer screen states that bed linen is provided free of charge and towels can be paid for at reception. The receptionist did not give me any bedding nor point to where to where to pick it up some thus I assumed the linen would be laid on the bed as in other hostels. The next day a person arriving in the room asked where he gets bed linen, he also did not get given any bedding even when talking with the receptionist. I do find it odd that you are expected to ask for the bedding: as this is the case I recommend updating the wording on the computer screen as it is ambiguous and gives the impression you only need to ask at reception if needing a towel.  There is a guest kitchen which has basic equipment: fridge, sink, microwave, 2 hot plates, 2 frying pans, 1 saucepan, some plates, bowls and some cutlery. There was one mug in which I made a cup of tea by heating water in the microwave. I recommend a kettle to boil water. The kitchen is sufficient for simple meals, making breakfast and sandwiches. I did not try the hostel breakfast.  There is one common area near reception with a bar and possibility to purchase food. Vending machines there. WiFi reliable. The common room can feel cramped when groups are there. There is good security as all entrance doors and lifts use card access. To access the guest kitchen ask at reception and they update your card.  The location is very good being 5 min walk from Ostkreuz train station. It is a direct line to Messe Nord where the bus station and FlixBus stop is. Easy to get public transportation into the cities. There are many shops, supermarkets and eating places nearby. Vegan kebab shop directly opposite.  Good value for money. I had a comfortable stay with no difficulties and I would stay again.
