The Briig is an absolutely beautiful hotel. From the moment you step inside you are greeted with sweetly perfumed air and a light and airy reception. The staff at front desk were friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed a room with a lovely view of the sea and a window that fully opens so as to enjoy the sea breeze. The hotel is perfectly situated next to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the heart of Split - perfect if wanting to walk off a meal. It feels like a quiet paradise away from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast is very well presented but we were initially not notified that there is a breakfast menu that we could order from - it was strangely hidden away from guests. We are also not initially asked if we wanted coffee or tea and thought that we had to get our own from the basic coffee machine. There was an actual coffee machine that we eventually noticed and had to ask someone for a coffee. The air conditioning is also controlled from reception - but they are happy to set it to whatever temperature you desire . The room we booked had a large kind bed and as I was traveling with a friend, they were nice enough to equip the bed with separate bedding for each of us .

Had a chance to stay here for 3 nights in May . Location is a good trade off between not wanting to stay in old town and being right next to it . We had lot of day trips planned and wanted ready access to our car and this worked out perfectly . Right from the moment we checked in , we could tell the ultra professional staffing standards . Courteous , polite and always willing to help . Our duplex room had more than ample room for our family of 4 and the 1 and a half bath definitely helped . The breakfast spread was top notch with eggs to order and usual European fare with no reasons to complain and the sun atrium to sit would remind anyone of a great Parisian hotel . The bar scene was quite sad and although listed as open till 11 was dead by 10 pm with lights dimmed . The cock tails were also not upto mark . However , that aside it's the perfect oasis to enjoy your time in Split

Molto bello hotel. Ha una posizione fantastica. Sono molto vicini sia il centro che la spiaggia. La stanza era molto comoda e avevamo tutto quello che ci serviva. E' in una vecchia casa di pietra. Le ragazze erano molto utili e ci hanno aiutato con le raccomandazioni. Certamente da raccomandare.

A series of fortunate coincidences placed me in this hotel which turned out SO great. The staff - Kristina, Karla, Danela and Sanja were enthusiastic, passionate and helpful...Although I usually prefer to eat breakfast ”out on the street,” my beautiful, hip and huge room came w breakfast. Oh my gosh - a huge custom omelet was prepared to accompany the cheeses, vegies and fruit which were on the well maintained buffet...This was fortuitous, because there are a dearth of breakfast options beyond bakeries and grab n goes here in Split, and I really prefer to have a hearty breakfast start when I am traveling. The hotel is in a large, tall office building, interestingly, with several other similar hotels in the building. It was in an initially weird but terrific location - within sight of the port (3 blocks) and a short walk (4 blocks) to the Old Split. I was so impressed by the quite competence of so many tourist dependent citizens of the city. I am happy that I was here very early in the season - I cannot imagine how crowded it would likely be, in the mid-summer. There was only 1 jumbo cruise ship in port, as well as lots of active smaller ships. What a GEM! **the photo in the accompanying picture is NOT accurate - it is showing a view of the police station (beautiful ! ) f r o m the View!**** haha.

Molto buona posizione, al 14° piano di un edificio di scrivania, a 15 minuti dalla stazione ferroviaria, stazione auto, piazza, cammino nella città antica, la stanza è molto ampia e pulita, e la vista è molto buona (livello di secondi per uccidere la stazione). Ma il problema è che il modo in cui si contatta l'hotel a Trip.com è sbagliato (è il telefono di altre società di lusso, non questo negozio), e l'hotel non ha una ricetta. Mi sono voluto molto per contattare l'hotel per occuparmi dell'alloggio.La figura 3 del commento è il telefono giusto

We have stayed in hotel for 5 nights. Hotel is located in very good place, near the beach and the city center. The hotel is modern with very clean and spacious rooms. View through the room window was stunning, our room was with the view to mountains and it was amazing. In the morning You open your eyes and first what You saw was the peaks of mountains and the sun rises. Hotel has a small kitchen, were You could made a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy fresh fruits or sweets. Breakfast were prepared in hotel Villa Diana (hotel located opposite to UP THERE). Food was delicious, but all days the same and the choise of food was very short. Administrators of hotel pleasant, helpful and kind. According their restaurant recommendations we ate very delicious seafood and try local cuisine. Near hotel is city beach, which we didn’t like, so they suggested to us a Kasjuni beach where we enjoyed clear water, beach and nice landscape. I recommend hotel for travelers who want to live near the city center in modern, clean and quite hotel with helpful staff.

Dopo aver letto le grandi recensioni e descrizioni qui e su altri siti, ci auguriamo che l'alloggio sarebbe stato abbastanza buono, ma siamo stati delusi dell'alloggio in generale. Prima di entrare, abbiamo ricevuto un'e-mail che diceva che la nostra stanza ci aspettava, e abbiamo l'impressione che potremmo controllare in anticipo dalla formulazione. Tuttavia, al momento dell’arrivo (poche ore prima) la chiave era pronta, ma una volta aperta la porta, abbiamo capito che le camere non erano ancora pulite dagli ospiti precedenti. Dopo aver chiamato il contatto, ci è stato detto che il check-in era alle 15, che sarebbe di norma buono, ma in questo caso era poco professionale, data l'e-mail che è stato inviato. Ovviamente non siamo stati solo a capire la formulazione dell'e-mail in questo modo, come l'ospite dopo di noi ci svegliò presto la mattina perché pensava che la stanza fosse pronta. (Non è colpa sua, ma l'ospite, a nostro parere) Non ci sono nemmeno adeguati bagagli sicuri che gli hotel potrebbero offrire. Ci rallegriamo che ci fosse un piccolo frigo, un buon mobilio e un bel bagno. Le camere erano pulite come si aspettavano, e simili alla maggior parte degli hotel. Il rating di quattro stelle è un po' difficile da capire come un visitatore internazionale. Quattro stelle di hotel-OTA sono di solito di alta qualità con la maggior parte delle strutture disponibili. Non c'è stato nessuna pulizia regolare di casa per tutta la nostra permanenza (solo su richiesta), la strega potrebbe essere anche normale per le camere per l'affitto, ma non per qualcosa prenotato in siti alberghiati. In generale, un debole 3/5, il rating viene salvato principalmente dalla posizione e dall'interno.

This is NOT a hotel - rooms - reminded me of renting a room in someones house and if their not home to meet you, then you don’t get in. We received an email asking when we were going to arrive - which we gave an approximate time. However upon arrival 15 minutes earlier than our estimate we were dropped off next door because building has no driveway- we then dragged our luggage up one flight of stairs to be met with a locked door. We buzzed and knocked for 5 minutes- we could hear loud chatter behind the door the whole time- finally a group of guests let us in and told us the receptionist told them he would be back in 25 minutes. Not a good beginning- we thought it was a hotel!! Probably the word Towers in name misled my thinking. The have 11 rooms - the room itself was modern and nice, however we were immediately behind vacant reception desk and it was loud from guests meeting and greeting. In the morning a note indicates to just leave your key at empty desk and your luggage in your room if you want to check it for day. Location of room was convenient. When we returned at noon to pick up our luggage staff was actually at property. NOTE - after 10 pm they lock office bldg outer door if you book this place and don’t respond to the email- your screwed because you will not be able to get into building without code. If you do get in good luck buzzing at the next locked door.
