"Check-in and check-out is on your own, you even have to program the card yourself and there is never anyone behind the counter. They even give you nice bedroom slippers, a kettle and tea and coffee and there are plenty of sockets to charge your devices in the room. There is a safe, microwave, and small stove to do your cooking with plates, bowls, and cutlery provided. We can even use the laundry facilities (both washing machine and dryer) in the basement and help ourselves to extra towels and tissue boxes if we need to. Location is very near the Alexanderplatz train station (around 5-6 mins walk). Supermarket is also located about 5 mins aways from here, which is huge just bear in mind its closed on Sundays."

Fantastico
UUtente ospite𠻗La stazione ferroviaria è a 200 metri di distanza. È molto comodo arrivarci a piedi. È possibile raggiungere il Palazzo del Parlamento, la Porta di Brandeburgo e la Via Linden in 30 minuti. L'hotel è molto bello, la camera è molto pulita e la colazione è molto ricca. È il miglior hotel durante il mio viaggio in Europa. L'unica cosa negativa è che quando siamo andati a fare colazione, il cameriere è entrato in camera pulito e non avevamo niente. Dopotutto, ci sono alcuni oggetti personali che appartengono alla privacy personale. Tuttavia, quando siamo tornati, il cameriere è uscito e ha chiesto scusa in imbarazzo.

Walk 7 minutes in one direction and you are at Checkpoint Charlie. Walk 10 mins in the other direction and you are at the Mall of Berlin. Walk 20 mins in another direction and you are in the Museum area of Berlin. Loads of restaurants, supermarkets and stores right next door to the apartment. Wonderful location. Can walk everywhere, plus the subway station is right outside.
Room
Large. Clean. It's a studio apartment, so in one room you will have your bed, sofa, coffee table, desk, wardrobe and TV. Then in another room you will have your kitchen and another room is your bathroom.
Bedroom
Bed is comfortable, but for some reason, despite having a 1 double bed, the duvets supplied were for 2 single beds, rather than one big bed.
Plug sockets near the beds are useful, but they are not VERY near, but close enough.
The room is large and clean.
The TV is small and because of the size of the room, it's almost hard to see. Yes it's on a wheeled table so you can bring it closer to the bed, but the power cord limits the range of movement. It is a Smart TV though so you can cast your android phone to it. Not iOS
There is a balcony area with tables and chairs which is nice.
The AC is wall mounted as if it was a TV. It did cool the room which is surprising as the room is big.
Bathroom
Super clean. Towels and such changed daily. It's a bathtub with a shower combined. And now I am going to be SUPER picky when I say this......do NOT let this impact your decision to stay here or not, but the water pressure is good but not great. But that may be because I like to feel like the water is really shooting at my skin. Also, the shower head holder kept sliding down. Annoying, ever so slightly, but not a deal breaker
Kitchen
So useful. It's a large kitchen with a fridge plus freezer. Induction hob with 2 rings. Sink, dishwasher. Plates, bowls, cups, tea saucers and cups, cutlery, cooking pots, frying pans, utensils for them, cutlery for eating, kitchen knives, tea towels, sieves... all great and all provided. There was one review that said it only offered 1 plate set.... we had several and it was very very useful.
Laundry
The apartment has a laundry room. 3 washing machines, 3 drying units, an ironing board and good steam iron. Even the powder is provided and having a laundry room was super useful. It's on -1 floor of the West side of the building.
Breakfast
The breakfast room, on the 8th floor does have an amazing view, and the room is lovely - everything is white with stone-coloured chairs, super clean... as if designed by Apple
It's a half-buffet style, cereal, pastry, cheese, and cured meats are all help yourself. Eggs, tea and coffee are on request. I didn't like this. The staff are wonderful and very polite and well trained, but, for me, I prefer less interaction and would have preferred a full buffet-style where I can help myself to whatever I wanted without having to ask.
Gym and Sauna
Also on the 8th floor. The gym has wonderful views, there is a seated bike, treadmill, rowing machine, weight bench and some dumbbells. Max weight was 10kg for the dumbbells so really its more of a cardio room.
Service.
We arrived around 11pm, but reception is not open. You have to scan a QR code, fill in all your details, upload a photo of your passport.... then wait after it successfully registers you you can open the doors. Or you can pop into the security office where the guy will hand you a key. Much easier, but you are not explicitly told.
But, the service is good here. Everyone is very polite, very helpful, all speak English. Cannot fault them at all. Just wish the reception was 24 hours
The location is great, the room is large and clean, the laundry room is useful and the gym and breakfast room have great views. It is expensive which is the only hesitant thing about returning here, but it is comparable in price to other similar hotels but here you get a much larger room with a kitchen. Great stay!

I recently stayed at the InterContinental Berlin for 4 nights during my first trip to Germany, and it was a truly exceptional experience.
The hotel is beautifully located near Tiergarten and just a short walk from the Berlin Zoo and public transport. I arrived late at night, but check-in was fast and professional. The staff were polite, helpful, and spoke excellent English.
My room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly designed. I especially loved the large windows and the comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern with both a shower and a deep bathtub, plus high-quality toiletries.
Breakfast was one of the highlights — a wide variety of international and local dishes, fresh juices, and barista-style coffee. I also had dinner at Hugos Restaurant on the 14th floor. The food was outstanding, and the panoramic city view made it unforgettable.
The wellness area was clean and relaxing, though the sauna required a small additional fee. The indoor pool and gym were great after long sightseeing days.

Best selection of Breakfast buffet at this hotel compared to all previous German hotel breakfast buffets eaten so far. BUT I booked this hotel for the sauna which were not available due to construction work when I arrived, with no info about the closure of the Sauna online before booking which is unnaceptable for the top hotel listing in Berlin with Sauna when paying customers book specifically to enjoy the sauna. Lucky for me I visited the best Men only sauna in Berlin called Artemis that evening which had the most beautiful female staff who attend to your every need, which left me relieved, refreshed and happy enough to forget the disapointment of no working sauna at the hotel I booked. Many nice restaraunts, bars and tourists attractions in walking distance with near by train station to reach other parts of Berlin to far to walk. Overall good hotel.

Penso che la posizione sia perfetta. Zona non troppo trafficata in quanto è a 8 minuti a piedi da Kurfürstendamm ma comunque centrale. Ci sono molti buoni ristoranti nelle vicinanze e puoi camminare per 10 minuti fino alla fermata dell'autobus 100 che ti porterà dove vuoi.
Servizio:
Servizio ottimo e cordiale. L'addetto alla reception ci ha accolto con un sorriso caloroso e il check-in è stato rapidissimo. Abbiamo anche chiesto delle pantofole e le abbiamo ottenute subito. Perfetto.
Pulizia
Il pavimento in pietra presentava alcune macchie ma niente di grave o ”sporco” in alcun modo. Il servizio in camera era davvero buono e in generale l'hotel era super pulito e igienico, soprattutto nell'area spa.
Servizi
La sauna e la piscina erano super pulite e un ottimo posto per rilassarsi. La colazione era un sogno, dai waffle sul pane alle salsicce calde, le opzioni erano quasi infinite.

Servizio alla reception
Il pagamento completo, comprese le tasse comunali, è stato effettuato tramite la mia carta di credito al momento della prenotazione. I pagamenti effettuati e la ripartizione, comprese le tasse comunali, sono indicati molto chiaramente sul voucher di prenotazione. Tuttavia, nonostante ciò, mi è stato chiesto di pagare un deposito di importo vicino a 600 euro, che era l'importo totale del mio soggiorno pagato tramite la mia carta di credito. Dopo averlo chiesto, ho chiesto alla tirocinante/Lena perché dovessi pagare di nuovo così tanto quando avevo pagato l'importo intero tramite carta di credito.

Per gli standard europei, penso che la colazione in questo hotel sia considerata buona. Con pochi cibi caldi come pancetta troppo cotta, salsiccia troppo cotta, fagioli al forno e uova. La frittata è buona (grazie allo chef!) Alcune selezioni di pane, molte scelte di tè di buona qualità. Poche selezioni di succhi. Macchina per il caffè. Favo di miele fresco.
Acqua omaggio
È strano che l'acqua omaggio venga fornita agli ospiti solo per la prima notte, nonostante io rimanga 3 notti. È la prima volta che mi capita in Europa. Forse gli ospiti dovrebbero effettuare una prenotazione diversa per ogni notte.

Il minibar era gratuito e conteneva persino birra tedesca!
E la parte migliore è la sauna nella giungla al piano superiore.
Nella sauna finlandese è possibile eseguire l'autorotolamento.
Versa l'acqua sul fornello e regolalo per creare una sauna bollente!
Accanto alla sauna c'è uno spazio relax dove è possibile fare un bagno interno.
Erano disponibili anche acqua frizzante e birra tedesca.
Si prega di notare che la sauna è una vasca per uomini e donne e che è vietato indossare costumi da bagno.
Gli asciugamani da bagno vengono depositati nella sauna, quindi non è necessario portarli dalla vostra camera.
Gli accappatoi possono essere noleggiati alla reception.
L'hotel elegante, la migliore sauna, il personale cordiale, tutto era fantastico.
