Hotel in zona Leong San See Temple, Singapore

Visited on a Saturday and checked out on a Sunday. Check-in was fairly quick and fast. The reception was very professional and really nice and helped me check in without a hassle. I read reviews about Mercure on Trip and was wondering how bad it could be when talking about the room size. I figured that those customers were not from around Singapore and didn't know how small a hotel room in SG can be. Voila. I went into the room and was surprised. Everything was clean and the room was big enough in Singapore standards. M Social was my go-to and I was just wondering to myself that the room I booked in Mercure was much bigger than M Social and cheaper as well. Having stayed in York Hotel & M-Social most of the time, the money spent in Mercure was actually more worth it. Room came with shampoo, conditioner & body wash; M Social provided only shampoo and body wash. I ordered food in through GrabFood and realised I didn't have cutleries. Called the front desk at 1:45am asking for cutleries and received disposable utensils in the span of 5 minutes max. Talk about proficiency. I'm also a sucker for breakfast but I can't ever wake up in time so I cannot comment yet but I'll definitely book another stay soon so that I can try their breakfast. The place is very centralised and food is everywhere along the vicinity so there wouldn't be an issue if you're travelling from overseas. There are kopitiams / coffee shops which has cheaper food options as well if you do not want to break your bank but there are cafes and bars around the area as well. Air-condition was working as expected and hot water in the bathroom was also working well. There is SEPARATE tap with filtered water for you to refill your bottle so that you do not need to buy bottles and bottles of water which is nice. Checkout was at 12pm and I received a call at about 11:40am - 11:45am reminding me to check out. I thought I'd have to wait in queue to check out but I was approached by a staff or maybe the manager (?) and he even asked if we needed to keep our luggages with them first. I did not have any luggage so I declined the offer and just passed the keycards to him and that was my checkout process. Miscellanous stuffs I noticed - The staffs are very good at pre-empting what someone needs when a customer was walking towards the counter and asked where the washroom is and the 'security' pointed the direction of the toilet to him. Having worked in service / hospitality before, this is commendable as not many hotels are like that. The front desk was also receptive to requests when I wanted to leave a key card with the front desk so my friend can pick up the key card as well. Mercure in a nutshell is very service forward and professional. Compared to the other hotels I've stayed in, budget or hotels with stars, I'd definitely recommend Mercure as the top #1. Will definitely come back again. Thank you for having me!

Clean cozy and more than decent breakfast. Somehow the custard buns are the same across the same HIEX hotels, rather dry fillings. 😅

La posizione è eccellente, il centro commerciale e la stazione di strutto è appena vicino alla porta. L'unico problema dell'hotel è il letto è molto morbido.

Hotel recentemente rinnovato. Ho prenotato una camera ventilata ma ho ottenuto un upgrade alla camera urbana. Penso che fosse un periodo basso nel periodo in cui soggiorno, molto silenzioso, buona insonorizzazione e camera abbastanza spaziosa. Piscina e palestra di buone dimensioni. Tutto il personale era sorridente e pronto ad aiutare con qualsiasi richiesta. Camera molto pulita con pulizia giornaliera. L'unico inconveniente era che la temperatura dell'acqua della doccia non era costante, improvvisa esplosione di acqua calda o fredda mentre si faceva la doccia a metà.

A cosy hotel with a Good location near lots of food choices and also the shopping mall was short distance away. Service at the hotel was great from the reception, restaurant to the concierge making my staycation a great one. Specially want to mention Ryan the Royale restaurant host, he was full of smiles, helpful and polite which is a number one in service line.

The bed was very comforty. Location was great for shopping and a lot of eateries within the vicinity. Staff was friendly. Security officer by the name Mariyun was especially helpfull.

Mi sono alzato presto la mattina per fare pipì e ho visto che c'erano persone con i capelli sottili e la scabbia che mangiavano fuori. Hahaha😆 Non dorme mai. Puoi localizzare direttamente l'hotel prendendo un taxi. Puoi salire e scendere. Solo che l'autista non può aspettare a lungo davanti all'hotel. Non è necessario individuare il negozio di durian dietro l'hotel Durian Street. Il primo giorno non lo sapevo. Ho visto la risposta della prenotazione dell'hotel e l'ospite ha detto che avevo preso un taxi dietro Durian Street. Il giorno successivo, ho scoperto che era perfettamente possibile salire e scendi dall'autobus davanti all'hotel e vai in centro. Erano le 20. Ci vogliono solo pochi minuti per prendere un taxi per l'Università Tecnologica di Nanyang, che dista solo 40 minuti. Prendere un taxi nel pomeriggio è molto più economico che al mattino. Ho prenotato la colazione in hotel. Non amo mangiare nei chioschi all'aperto, anche se può essere delizioso. Desidero l'aria condizionata e un ambiente pulito e ordinato. Il negozio per la colazione con cui collabora l'hotel c'è Mom's Kitchen accanto. Il proprietario è gentile e cordiale. La colazione viene ordinata su ordinazione, quindi è deliziosa anche se semplice. La stanza non è troppo piccola e può ospitare uno da 28” e uno da 26”. Possono essere posizionati entrambi con un portapacchi. Le sedie sono disponibili e poi tutti si siedono sul letto e si sdraiano sul letto. Il cestino della spazzatura è strano. Non c'è nessuno dentro il bagno. Ho chiesto alla reception e ho detto che ce n'è solo uno. Bisogna preparare i propri sacchetti di plastica per buttare la spazzatura. L'acqua del bagno è molto grande e sufficiente. Mi piace aprire la porta. Dopo aver usato il riscaldamento interruttore, sentivo che il riscaldamento elettrico era sempre acceso e l'acqua calda sarebbe finita presto. Ho dovuto lavarlo e spegnerlo prima che fosse sufficiente usare l'acqua calda. Dopo un drink, ho preso una grande bottiglia di cibo da asporto del supermercato acqua. La nostra camera era alla finestra del secondo piano. Mi piace anche il fatto che possa essere aperta per la ventilazione. Anche se è stata aperta solo una volta, c'erano formiche piccolissime sul tavolo. Ho dovuto pulirlo accuratamente con salviette umidificate. Dopo aver finito il cibo, mettilo in un sacchetto di plastica e mettilo sul letto davanti alla porta il primo giorno. Molto insoddisfatto. Sembra molto sporco e polveroso. Sembra che nessuno sia rimasto qui per molto tempo. Fortunatamente , abbiamo tutti portato lenzuola, copripiumini e federe usa e getta. Abbiamo chiesto di cambiare la biancheria da letto con una pulita il giorno successivo e di indossare articoli usa e getta. La donna delle pulizie è indonesiana. Nel complesso, andava bene. Non riesco a vedere il dettagli quando si tratta di pulizia. Penso che sia perché queste persone lavorano in questo modo e i loro standard e abitudini igieniche non sono buoni. I singaporiani che fanno questi lavori sono tutti lavoratori migranti dall'Indonesia, dalla Malesia, dall'India, ecc. Il pavimento della stanza viene pulito ogni giorno. Sembra che sia stato semplicemente passato l'aspirapolvere e non sia stato fatto correttamente. È stato lavato e l'ordine del pavimento nella piccola hall della reception dell'hotel non può essere paragonato alle istruzioni. Può essere pulito, ma il la camera non è stata pulita. Non è adatta alle famiglie. Ha solo i servizi più semplici e basilari. È adatta per viaggi d'affari e viaggi. Non mi importa purché il comfort generale sia confortevole. La prossima volta che verrò a Singapore e non riesco a trovare un hotel adatto (ho letto quasi tutte le recensioni e i servizi di 1-2000 hotel da una notte su Ctrip, Booking, Google Maps) e non sono soddisfatto, sceglierò questo hotel in cui soggiornare.

It’s very comfortable to live in Conrad. The room design is very user friendly. Lightings are very good and comfy. I like the sofa a lot, it’s super big. I can lie to rest for a while before going to shower. The breakfast is rly great and the refill is super fast. The location is good, it’s very near to promenade MRT station. It would be definitely my choice again when I come Singapore next time!
