On my 2nd day, the place seems a lot better. The bus stop right in front of the hotel is a great comfort specially if coming from a long walk. The water dispenser helps ave a lot of money considering buying a bottled water is really expensive. Having a refillable bottle also helps. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Great water pressure. A long good shower is needed after a whole day outside the Singapore weather. Some places to visit are a good walk away. Hong Lim Park nearby. Train stations are about 8-10 minutes away.

我在這裏住了4天，對我的房間非常滿意，下次還會再來。已經推薦給身邊的朋友們了。 1、關於服務：一開始以為是民宿那種，實際上每天都有打掃房間。前台接待也非常友好，沒有按金，辦理入住和退房速度很快。 2、關於房間：我們4個人，原本要訂兩房間，又怕兩個房間相距太遠，連通房、家庭房價錢偏高且房間太小，這個兩居室就完美解決了這個問題，94平米兩室一廳兩衞一廚房，主卧是1米8雙人床，超級大衣櫃，化粧台，兩扇落地窗，帶大衞生間（洗手池、馬桶、浴缸、獨立淋浴房），次卧是兩張單人床+衣櫃。過道是儲物櫃和第二個衞生間（洗手池、馬桶、獨立淋浴房）。客廳很大，有沙發、電視，還有4人位餐桌，兩扇落地窗，以及一個可以出去的陽台，廚房可以做飯，家電齊全，還有一個專門晾衣服的地方。我媽嫌棄我爸打呼嚕，晚上我們把床墊子放客廳，就變成了三間卧室，早上再復原回去，不給人家添麻煩。 3、關於舒適度：我這間房雖然在電梯旁邊，但是一點都聽不到噪音，倆卧室都臨街道，街道也很安靜。床的軟硬度和枕頭的高矮非常舒適。最讚的是中央空調的設計，完全感受不到風，也聽不到一點空調的聲音，但是房間非常涼爽，不像有些酒店，空調不是吹腳就是吹頭，甚至還有吹整個床的。房間乾淨，沒有蟲子蚊子蟑螂。酒店有泳池，整體環境不錯。 4、關於位置：周邊有711、路邊小吃，克拉碼頭的小燕子番茄火鍋非常推薦，去其他景點也都很近，但我們有兩個長者一個小孩都不太能走，全部Grab打車，附近車子很多，速度很快，每天打車的費用兩三百人民幣，比包車遊便宜，中午還可以回酒店小憩一下。

Great stay! Super clean, amazing breakfast! Comfy beds and pillows! Location is super easy to get to Bayfront. About 15/20 min by subway. Definitely my choice for the next stay in Singapore!

So good! I come here before the place in the past were a bit old for the furniture but cleanliness wise is great, today i come back, it become excellent! The service not to mention fantastic. Staff is kind enough to serve you from door to lift and even care about which room you staying to serve you the best. I really like here so much. I really really have to praise THE SUPER CLEAN BEDSHEET AND ORDOURLESS PILLOW WHICH I AM SUPER IMPRESSED. THOUGH THE ROOM AND HOTEL IS QUITE AGED FROM MY VIEW OF POINT HOWEVER THEY MAINTAIN A SUPER CLEAN BED AND QUILT COVER, MATTRESS FROM MY EXPERIENCE. THIS HOTEL IS CLEAN, VINTAGE VIBE DESIGN, VERY TRADITIONAL VIBE VINTAGE HOTEL BUT CLASSY AND SUPER CLEAN. REALLY LOVE THIS PLACE ALOT, THE SERVICE EXCELLENT. VERY THOUGHTFUL FOE THE GUEST.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Orchard Road, making it convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring the vibrant city. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the modern and elegant lobby, which set the tone for my stay. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with friendly staff who were eager to assist. My room was spacious and beautifully appointed, featuring a comfortable bed, a well-equipped work area, and a luxurious bathroom with high-quality amenities. The view from my window was a delightful bonus, overlooking the lush gardens. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's dining options. The breakfast buffet was a feast, offering a wide array of international cuisines. I also enjoyed dinner at the specialty restaurant, where the food was both innovative and delicious. The hotel’s facilities, including the pool and fitness center, were well-maintained and provided a great way to relax and unwind. The spa services were a perfect way to rejuvenate after a day of exploring. Overall, my experience at the Grand Hyatt Singapore was outstanding. The combination of excellent service, luxurious accommodations, and prime location makes it a top choice for anyone visiting the city. Pretty clean and convenient hotel, not situated in the typical non-touristy area of Singapore. Tons of food options in the area with it being situated in Katong, which is laid back neighbourhood with bars/cafes/malls in the vicinity too. No onsite parking available but there’s road side parking. Situated near to the expressway that connects to Changi Airport, which is perfect for those looking for quick rest before heading to the airport. Only issue was some cobwebs on the roof of the toilet which was requested to be cleaned. Likely due to the housekeeping staff being short or probably because I am tall which I might run into it. 🤣 Room size isn’t that huge but cosy enough, no fascinating views since its shophouses and previously one of Hotel 81’s chain that was converted IIRC. Will visit again!

Booked the Splash room during a flash sale, about $360 for 3D2N. Spacious room with a kitchenette, a TV that can swivel out to face the bed (not a smart TV), and a bathtub. Room also comes with a dividing screen that can be lowered to separate the sleeping area and living area. Cleanliness can be improved (found weird stains on the sheet), but that aside, daily housekeeping was generally good. Service could be improved: housekeeping knocked on our door at 1030am to ask if we required cleaning while we were getting dressed. Would be better if they had called us instead of turning up at the door at an inconvenient time. Staff who checked us in at the front desk also did not inform us about the noise from the building’s cladding that would affect us for the duration of our stay. We called front desk at night to ask about the thumping and knocking sound coming from the window and upstairs, and was told it’s from the building cladding due to facade upgrading works. Would appreciate if we had been notified about this when we made the booking as the knocking persisted throughout our stay.
