Hotel in zona Anfiteatro do Parque, Porto

We just came back from a 4 night stay. We highly recommend this hotel. The staff was amazing (Miguel and Gabriel) were especially helpful upon check in and other occasions. It was easy to use public transportation (close-by). The beach is right down the street. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Grocery Store next door. Bar Staff were amazing. Air Conditioning was nice and cold. Rooms were clean, beds were super comfortable. Highly recommended!

A well situated hotel on a traffic circle, with a very large dirt parking lot on the next street, just past the Burger King. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast very varied, in small servings. The bathrooms are old fashioned and the stock of towels reduced to a minimum. The staff is not very experienced - when guests arrive at 2:30 am they let them have loud conversations in the lobby, that wakes up people sleeping on the 2nd floor, and even worse, they put them in rooms adjoining those already occupied. The hotel has 9 floors and was almost empty, but they don't even have the attention to install these customers on another floor or at least leave a break room, so we only went back to sleep after 3 am. The walls are thin and the conversation could be heard perfectly. Another sample of inexperience: the receptionist who went to see why our TV had ”no signal” suggested that the maintenance could deal with the problem (a broken cable) the next day, and looked like he had heard a bright idea when I suggested he go to an unoccupied room to get an identical cable, which he happily did.

Had a very friendly welcome at reception and no delay in getting our room. We both noticed early on how clean the whole hotel is ,esp in the dining room where the staff continuously clean the coffee machines ,etc used by customers. The rooms were bright and we had a large bathroom with a great walk in shower. Breakfast was buffet style with a great choice of drinks,cereals hot and cold food. A great choice of coffee and teas on offer. There is a gym and swimming pool which we did not use . A very central hotel with a selection of great restaurants outside the door. Metro stop and beach just a few minutes away. Would definitely recommend staying here if in Matosinhos.

Ho soggiornato qui con 2 amici la settimana scorsa per 5 notti in una camera tripla. Parola di avvertimento per chiunque considera una camera tripla - c'è un minimo di privacy! Anche se le opzioni per la colazione sono buone, può diventare affettuoso nella camera da colazione. Una mattina, entrambe le macchine caffè si sono rotte, il che significa che abbiamo dovuto lasciare l'hotel per ottenere il caffè che non è ideale. Questa mattina sembra che l'hotel fosse a corto raggio di personale, perché non c'era cucina o piatti, tazze, ecc. Dobbiamo andare a scrivere questa mattina e trovare colazione altrove. Il giovane che lavora il turno notturno sembra non piacere molto al suo lavoro. L'abbiamo incontrato qualche volta. Ho cercato di parlare con lui due volte, egli non si sconvolse di cercare di assumersi, ma abbiamo anche preso l'ascensore una mattina, e ci hanno voluto circa cinque minuti per un membro del personale, nonostante la pressione della campana tre volte. Possiamo andare a terra con l'ascensore (per lasciarla in buio!) e una volta aperta la porta ci hanno detto che ”a volte succede”. E' stato così cortese e utile e ha sempre voluto parlare.È per questo che questa recensione è 3 stelle contro 2.

Hotel vicino alla fermata della metro di Sete Bicas da dove in sei fermate si raggiunge sia il centro di Porto che l'aeroporto.Nelle vicinaze anche un grande centro commerciale dove trovare di tutto. Stanze piccole ma con tutti i comfort, pulizia e cambio di di asciugamani giornaliero. Colazione soddisfacente con macchina spremi augrumi fatte al mommento. Nei corridoi dei piani erogatore di acqua fresca molto utile. Cosa non è piaciuto · Assenza di un bar e di una sala di intrattenimento, reception un po piccola.

Situato in periferia vicino al centro di Porto, e idealmente situato per godere della costa atlantica Il personale è eccellente, e ascolta se necessario. E soprattutto parlato più lingue. Le camere sono conformi alle descrizioni e il servizio viene effettuato quotidianamente. Per quanto riguarda il colazione, ci sono per tutti i gusti, zuccheri, salati, diversi tipi di pane, cereali, succo di frutta fresca... brevemente, l’embarras della scelta.

L’hotel ha un trattamento per gli ospiti impeccabile ed io mi sento molto più che a casa. Ringrazio i receptionist del turno di pomeriggio e notturno per la cortesia ed il sorriso. Se non ci fossero loro questo hotel non sarebbe così bello. Grazie ragazzi 5 stelle meritate

Volo cancellato. Ci spostano in questo hotel, piacevole sorpresa. Uno staff DISPONIBILE in tutto, check out ritardato senza problemi in quanto avevo un fortissimo mal di testa. Acqua caldissima se amate rilassarvi in vasca. Bidèt!!! Cosa non da poco!!! Centro commerciale gigantesco a due minuti a piedi. Grazie allo staff perché essere accoglienti alle richieste non costa niente e rende migliore la vacanza per chi la vive.

Le camere sono pulite e relativamente spaziose, e interessanti abbastanza, dano una bottiglia di vino complimentare ai membri dell'elite, cosa che non ho mai visto in altri Marriotts. Il personale è uno dei più amichevoli che abbia mai visto, ognuno prende il suo tempo per assicurarsi di avere un soggiorno confortevole. Uno dei membri, Miguel, se ricordo correttamente il suo nome, ci ha dato molti suggerimenti su ciò che esplorare a Porto. Non c'è molto da descrivere, consiglio molto a chiunque cerca di soggiornare a Porto. L'unico problema leggero è che gli ascensori non sembrano sempre funzionare correttamente, ma è un problema minimo perché si prendono cura di esso rapidamente.

I arrived at the hotel on 20 November 2022 for a 5 night stay. The stay was business related and with so many hotels to choose from, I decided to go with the Porto Palacio. What an excellent choice! The hotel is absolutely brilliant - I cannot find a fault. Check-in was very smooth and on arrival to the room - wow - very modern, crisp clean sheets on the bed and a spacious room. In terms of food, the Breakfast experience was the best part of the stay for me. I have stayed in many hotels around the world - both on a personal basis and a business basis - I can honestly say that the breakfast staff at the Porto Palacio are the best I've ever come across. On arrival, I was seated quickly. On Day 1, the staff members memorised what I had that cannot be chosen by the buffet - for example, a tea and two plates (as I like two plates) - on Days 2 and for the rest of the trip, I didn't even need to ask. I was called by my Title and Surname on arrival. The whole experience was brilliant. I would like to mention a lady called Rosa and another lady (they both greet staff members at the door) - their hospitality skills are great and they are always smiling - nothing is too much for them. I didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening but had room service as personally, I like to relax after a day at the office. The food was of good quality and was tasty and piping hot. I used the gym during my stay - the gym is open to members of the public, therefore is not your usual hotel gym. It's huge - there are loads of machines and I was never waiting for someone to finish using something. Staff members are friendly. All in all - a brilliant stay and is a genuine 5 star hotel! I will return to the Porto Palacio both on a business basis and also on a personal basis - Porto looks like a great city! It's a shame that I didn't have time to look around as I had a busy schedule but I will certainly be back! Thank you!!
