It’s hard to imagine how a pocket boutique anywhere could be better. We loved it! Six stars! Location: Near the crest of the historic Old Town, a stone’s throw from the Roman theater, you pass under a spindly boom pole setting the tone that you are entering a special gated community. (Just tell the watch person you are a hotel guest.) Décor: It really is an art gallery. Original paintings by contemporary Bulgarian artists are installed throughout. The little breakfast/refreshment keller has catalogues and books about them. The rooms are few enough that you have the sense of staying in a private home. And the wonderful blending of historic, quirky and contemporary touches results in a delightful envelope of character. Barely open two years, it has the assured demeanor of a comfortable longtime resident. Rooms: We stayed in a Deluxe Room on the top floor. What fun to lie in bed gazing at the stars through matching skylights with electronic controls for the shade and shutter on each side. Good storage, outlets, and sitting space. Bathrobes, luxurious Etro amenities, sleek fittings in the bathroom. A small balcony gave us a view over the city. We took a full, leisurely room service breakfast. Service: The door opened to a warm welcome, a full rundown of the routine, and a chance to pre-order breakfast. Checkout was equally friendly and efficient. There is no elevator, but the evening manager carried our bag up when he showed us the room. Surroundings: Although not immediately obvious, street parking is easy; the historic mansions from various periods are an architectural delight. But be aware, the cobblestone streets are serious; it’s no place for heels! Finally, a note to snobs: Until we checked out, I had no idea I had just stayed at a Best Western. If The BW Premier Collection is an example of their latest foray, I’ll be looking for more stays with them. Bravo!

We booked a junior suite and enjoyed a very pleasant room with all the usual amenities. There was a very long and dark corridor to get to our room which is OK as long as you don't drop anything and expect to find it again. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring Plovdiv and filled our needs perfectly. If you choose to include breakfast with your booking you have to go to a café about 40 yards away. The breakfast is nice enough but the menu is very limited. The big plus point about this hotel is the reception staff who are so nice and friendly. This hotel is recommended for a short stay in Plovdiv.

È uno dei più bello e confortevole hotel che abbiamo mai soggiornato. La nostra stanza aveva una grande terrazza che guardava fuori dalla strada che tutti usavamo per bere vino e guardare. Il bagno era molto pulito e ne aveva ancora meglio una doccia grande, con una porta chiusa e non spalmava acqua in tutto il pavimento, che è un lusso raro e sorprendente in Europa. I colazione inclusi erano deliziosi e avevano una varietà di offerte, tra cui uova sgranate, salsa, bacon, tosta francese, pasticceria piccola, ecc. , insieme alle normali carni e formaggi freddi, yogurt e cereali che la maggior parte degli hotel offrono. Il personale era molto accogliente e molto amichevole, e ci hanno dato una bella visita del bagno romano che è stato scoperto durante la costruzione, che ha aggiunto al fascino e l'atmosfera dell'hotel. Ci sono un parcheggio privato, ma non l'abbiamo usato perché abbiamo noleggiato un'auto per un solo giorno. Abbiamo aperto la finestra per ventilare la stanza, ma l'abbiamo chiusa mentre dormiva a causa del rumore stradale e degli scarichi del veicolo (non il problema dell'hotel, Plovdiv sarebbe stato ben servito per limitare il traffico di veicoli in questa zona). In generale, un fantastico hotel con un personale incredibile e un grande valore!

Mini kitchen only comes with microwave oven, no cooker no kettle no utensils etc. Love the huge toilet sink. Suggest to have shower curtain and more hooks in the toilet. Bedroom carpeted. No room slippers provided. Don't bother about the view. Noise can be heard next door. 15 minutes walk to city centre. Overall stay-able for 1 night.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui due notti di recente e tutto era perfetto. Le camere erano molto spaziose, la dimensione di un piccolo appartamento. Ben conservato cucina e un bagno decente. Tutto era pulito senza spot. La posizione era a pochi passi da dozzine di ristoranti diversi, ne hanno anche uno in posizione, e siamo stati anche a piedi facile da tutto quello che volevamo vedere in città, con la stazione ferroviaria a 25 minuti a piedi. Il meglio è che la gente del desk front era assolutamente meravigliosa! Il consiglio eccellente su ciò che vediamo in città, erano super amichevole, e anche organizzato un cappotto per il nostro toddler a dormire, nonostante ********** indicando che non c'era nessuno disponibile (Abbiamo fatto e-mail e chiesto prima del tempo; era stato messo in attesa per noi nella nostra stanza). Certamente vedremo di restare qui la prossima volta che siamo in città.

Eravamo due coppie in camere doppie. Molto felice del nostro soggiorno al Boris Palace. Tutto il personale piacevole e utile. La signora al check in ci ha mostrato entrambe le camere, in modo che potessimo scegliere le nostre preferenze. Entrambe le camere senza spot. Tutti avevano balconi e buone viste. Molto impressionato dalla pulizia ovunque. Assolutamente senza spot. Una bella colazione di ham, formaggio, pane fresco e pasticceria. Non potevo sbagliare l'hotel e sarebbe la mia prima scelta quando torna a Plovdiv, perché la posizione era perfetta. Nella vecchia città, ma molto vicino a piedi ovunque.

Molto arrabbiato, non gentile, non corretto e non amichevole, in questa ricezione, mi sentivo inconcepibile, insoddisfatto, in atteggiamento nei confronti degli ospiti. Per gli altri dipendenti, nessuna domanda, solo l'amministratore aveva un comportamento terribile. Spero che un giorno l'amministratore saprà e sentirà l'atteggiamento umiliante nei confronti di sé stesso. Forse sarà una persona buona in futuro, ma vi sono forti dubbi in merito. Non tornerò mai a questo hotel!
