"The dining service was disastrous. The food was of extremely poor quality. Breakfast service was interrupted because they were washing the dishes. The buffet was practically empty. The machine-made orange juice was best avoided; it was just dirty water. It took an hour and a half to get dinner, which consisted of a salad (which was already on the table), a piece of chicken, and a slice of cake. The hotel facilities were clean, although there was only one elevator."

"We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour group and can't recommend this hotel more highly. It has a convenient location a short walk to tourist areas and shopping. Check-in and check-out were efficient and almost felt like we were staying with friends. The minimalist, ultra modern decor was clean and functional. Our room was quite spacious with a very comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom, a large safe, and motorized drapes on the windows(!). Buffet breakfast was served attractively and fresh with a very nice variety of options available. As promised, the complimentary homemade lemonade is in generous supply and delicious. If you need a place to stay in Plovdiv, this hotel gets 5 stars from me."

"Pros: Super quiet location in the Old Town within easy walking distance of main sites and restaurants Modern, clean comfortable rooms with huge beds, good shower. Very efficient aircon. Attentive and helpful staff Cons: Awful coffee and poor breakfast with limited choices. Best to book without and go elsewhere. Tip: the ‘citizens club’ restaurant (turn right, 200m round the corner) is excellent - limited menu but very good traditional Bulgarian food at good prices. We tried several places and this was by far the best."

"Location is in no doubt the best when it comes to that hotel. The city center and its major tourist sights are easily accessible, we had a stunning view towards Bunardjika hill, which is also 5 min away on foot. One of the city's shopping malls is situated just in front of the hotel. Obviously the hotel was meant to stand out as a business hotel but its interior design leaves an impression of a place with questionable reputation. At first my husband and I received only one key and they firmly refused to provide a second one. We had to explain we have a small toddler who would be going to bed early with me, while my husband was attending a rock music featival and didn't want to bother us knocking at the door or phoning. After some more negotiating we finally received a spare key but still I find it weird that on a 4* hotel the key is only one per room and not per person. Breakfast is nothing special- three days in a row there was cold Bulgarian banitsa that tasted like last week's leftovers, and this didn't even change. Eggs and bacon were ok, some fresh fruit, average and cold pancakes and low quality jam in small hotel portions. Our room was not cleaned 3 days in a row although I asked the staff. We have a 2 year-old toddler having a strict daily routine including afternoon nap, so I regard it as normal thing to come and clean the room before noon while we are away. Eventually we ran out of toilet paper and we even had to through our own garbage. The reception stuff was very polite on the third evening when I asked her to provide some tissues but couldn't explain why this had happened. Most frustrating of all was our attempt to have dinner in one of the restaurants - L Garden. I had to wait 25 min. for a small plate of simple tomato, cucumber and pepper salad together with a nervous and hungry toddler. I could have understood if the place was super busy but we were the only clients together with another young couple. All on all I doubt if I would visit the same hotel again- the price is compatible with other 4* big names in the city center."

"This is a great little hotel with the most wonderful staff. Within minutes of arrival I injured my hand in a freak accident. Ina in reception volunteered to take me to A&E at the local hospital. Once there she acted as my interpreter & paid for a Tetanus shot & Antibiotics plus dressings etc. Totally above and beyond her role and on her own time as she had finished her shift. The food in Avocado restaurant which is attached to reception is really delicious, Beef Shank, Foie Gras, Veal Tongue 🤤 The Staff were really polite and helpful and the 7 in our group were delighted we had chosen the Plaza. I will definitely be returning here."

"A unique hotel! Modern, comfortable and spacious rooms and apartments. Great service and impeccable hygiene. We have rarely seen such clean and tastefully furnished rooms! The materials used were of high quality and the colors perfectly combined and creating coziness. All common areas such as the restaurant, bar and lobby were with perfect furnishings and details. We had booked an apartment for 2 adults and 2 children. There was a baby bed prepared for the baby. There is a dining table with 4 chairs as well as a reading corner by the window. The bed in the bathroom was huge and extremely comfortable. There is a sofa bed in the living room that can sleep two people. The apartment had plenty of luggage space, a refrigerator with a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, a safe, an ironing board and iron, bathroom toiletries, a coffee machine and capsules, tea, slippers and many other amenities. There was a bowl of fruit on the table as well as prepared plates with cutlery. The breakfast was extremely good with a huge selection. The staff is infinitely kind, polite and always ready to help. There is free parking at the hotel. The car numbers are saved, so there is no need to use the card for entry and exit, the barriers open automatically when the car number is recognized. As a hotel guest, there is also a discount in the beer garden next to it. It is advisable to make a reservation in advance for dinner. The beer garden has a terrace and a playground, which makes the hotel very suitable for families with children. The playground offers many opportunities for children to have fun and is fenced, which allows parents to sit quietly on the beer garden terrace and watch their children without having to be constantly next to them. I recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to visit Plovdiv or to any resident of the city who wants to accommodate guests in it. I put enough photos to reflect what I wrote above."

"Beautiful antique room, great bath, lovely bed, charismatic wonderful space. Nice breakfast. However… The concierge shared his DNA with of a plank of wood. Unhelpful, unfriendly and nowhere to be found when you needed him. Didn’t even say thank you or goodbye when we left. He just filtered into the shadows with the 40lev for parking. The woman was communicative, helpful and friendly. Maybe she should run it. (Oh, and the restaurant is shut) On another note. Plovdiv itself is very quiet, not much to do, in retrospect we should have spent no more than 2 nights."

"Francamente, è la mia prima volta che Hilton si ferma in un arbusto doppio e direi che è stata una esperienza memorabile e impeccabile! La posizione è magnifica! Solo 5 minuti a piedi dal centro storico. L'hotel è moderno e confortevole. Il colazione è generoso, delizioso e variabile. Le camere sono senza spa e spaziose. Il personale è stato utile e cortese, specialmente "GABRIELLA" gridava. Se sei Venendo dalla stazione di autobus/treno di Plovdiv prendendo l'autobus n. 26 o 7. Il prezzo era ok per i servizi che hanno offerto. Ho fortemente raccomandato il doppio albero da Hilton e non posso aspettare di tornare e sperimentare di nuovo i miei momenti Hilton. Le uniche cose che mi mancano sono le strutture delle toletta come pasta dentale, spazzola dentale e così via, e il resto sono fantastici!"

"Si tratta di un hotel molto particolare, modernissimo e con un arredamento di grande effetto. La posizione è abbastanza vicina al centro storico che può essere raggiunto a piedi in una quindicina di minuti ed è dotato di posteggio esterno gratuito Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Le camere sono finemente arredate, hanno letti e cuscini comodissimi e sono dotate di sistemi tecnologici facilmente utilizzabili. L'unica cosa che non mi ha molto soddisfatta è la colazione alla carta, che ho trovato poco varia per un hotel di questa categoria. Niente formaggi o salumi, inoltre quando ho scelto dal menu un the early grey mi è stato risposto che non era possibile averlo perché c'era un solo tipo di the (cosa veramente bizzarra). A parte questo un hotel molto bello, pulito e che per la configurazione delle camere garantisce un'oasi di tranquillità."
