Hotel in zona Sup Phú Quốc, Phu Quoc Island

Pros: - good location, walking distance to Grand World - low price, best if you don’t spend much time at the hotel and mostly out and about - clean and modern decor Cons: - no aircon in corridor and elevator, it can be very uncomfortable to step in the elevator on hot days - no room service, no service at pool area, no option to pay for food and beverage at check out. - minibar is empty, instant coffee and tea bags are available yet no milk. When we requested milk for our cup of tea, the reception staff advised we would need to go to the bar (ground floor) to purchase milk at own cost. Milk is essential and it has always been provided free of charge wherever we’ve been (Bali, Singapore, Australia, etc.) - mid-stay ROOM INSPECTION. This is very UNPLEASANT practice to Westerners and should be stopped. Not sure if this is normal in Vietnam, but it is very displeasing and annoying to us (Australians). We often stayed a few weeks to months in Bali and other Asian countries, we’ve never had room inspection where 2 staff entered our room, 1 of them walked around the room pretending to check the skirting board with a screwdriver while the other was casing the room (it was obvious that they wanted to check to room). - poor English proficiency. Only one reception staff can speak English well, the rest of the staff don’t. My husband was quite frustrated during our stay because he couldn’t communicate with staff. We’ve stayed in Bali and other Asian countries, all of their staff are fluent in English including security and housekeeping staff. - lack of attention to food safety. Signage is very small. No cover when the meals bought outside to the pool area. Food was not kept at optimum temperature can cause bacteria to grow to dangerous levels that can cause illness. - lack of knowledge about beverage. Staff didn’t understand my husband’s order of Bourbon + Cola (very common drinks to Westerners) and advised they don’t have Bourbon. When my husband went to the bar with the staff, there was a big Bourbon bottle sitting on the shelf! - lack of customer service. Staff was not attentive to customers, my husband had to walked to the restaurant to get staff attention when we wanted food and drinks while we were at the pool. Staff should walk around and simply check in with customers. Staff didn’t greet customers when they walk past, again when we were in Bali and other Asian countries, their staff (everyone including housekeeping staff) always said good morning, good afternoon or good evening. - FACIAL BIOMETRICS RECOGNITION was an entry requirement to enter buffet breakfast. This should be disclosed in booking description including third-party websites like Agoda, Booking.com, etc. No information on Facial Biometrics Recognition are found anywhere or has ever been communicated to us prior to checking in. Personalmente siamo andati alla jacuzzi e alla sauna e l'abbiamo trovato molto rilassante. La camera da letto era pulita e gli addetti alla reception erano tutti gentili. Abbiamo prenotato per 6 settimane; Lahana pensava che avremmo avuto la prenotazione errata! Overall this was a good stay, but I'm going to likely try someplace else when returning to Phu Quoc, mostly to find a better match for the vibe I like out of a beach resort. Staff was pleasant, but not overly memorable. The resort is a lot bigger than I thought and most of the clientele that I saw were couples and families. I had a beachfront bungalow that was very nicely furnished with a king sized four poster bed, a huge bathroom and an outdoor balcony overlooking the beach. You can hear the waves at night once the very loud EDM/hip hop coming from two directions cuts out around 3 am. I took a 'can't beat em, join em' mentality one night and strolled over to the loud beach bar next door at night to realize that all the loud music was playing for exactly six people who were all yelling to hear one another over the music and not even on the dancefloor. Breakfast in the mornings was good, there's a friendly little mouse that comes by to lap up the crumbs as you eat if you dine alfresco. If you're turned off by rodents, Phu Quoc might but be the best place for you fyi. The bar at the hotel was very small with about 10 stools, but the guys that worked there were nice and the vibe was pretty chill.

The hotel services were prompt and the staff was professional. We found the restaurant to be bit overpriced but that is what it is and all other aspects were really good. I would recommend this hotel for fellow travellers specially if you are travelling with your family.

Il supermercato di King Kong va relativamente vicino, ma si scopre ancora che l'hotel è situato alla fine meridionale dei posti occupati. Se un po' a nord ... Food - non sarò rigato, non ci sono richieste, ma ancora vide e meglio, quindi per il cibo 4 di 5. Buona posizione. Meno di 10 minuti dall'aeroporto. Accesso facile al mercato notturno Sonasea. (Raccomandazione dell'onorevole Seafood) 15 minuti al martedi King Kong. Il mercato piccolo vende la maggior parte degli articoli e ha un servizio di lavaggio. La colazione è buona. La piscina è bella per bambini e adulti. La spiaggia collegata ha bar e ristoranti. Il servizio di manutenzione è buono e amichevole. Il personale di ricezione è bello. Ma altri dipendenti non capiscono l'inglese. Il massaggio e il negozio di nali sono molto amichevoli con prezzi ragionevoli.

Il miglior resort di Phu Quoc... Se ti piacciono le vacanze o le attività acquatiche, prenota incondizionatamente... Prima di tutto, l'hardware è così buono Ci sono 4 piscine e ci sono così tante cose da fare nel resort C'è un piccolo caffè e un negozio (?) all'interno, ma chiude un po' presto! A parte questo, il servizio e la pulizia erano di prim'ordine.
