TTokkiiiWe stayed at Atour Hotel Dalian Dongguan Street (大连市政府东关街亚朵酒店) during our first trip to mainland China, and honestly, this place was one of the highlights of our whole visit.
Right at check-in we were kindly upgraded to a suite, and the staff asked if we could leave a review — after staying here, that was an easy and enthusiastic yes.
Where do I even start?
The room was immaculately clean, super quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was impressive with strong water pressure and top-notch amenities — everything felt fresh and high quality. We had zero issues with housekeeping — everything was always perfect.
The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met in China. Their English wasn’t perfect, but they tried so hard to help with whatever we needed, always with a smile and patience. That honest effort made a big difference.
Location is another major plus. This hotel is right by Dongguan Street, which means you’re walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Pavilion Mall is super close too, and the airport is easy to get to — really convenient for arrivals and departures.
One small thing — the subway station is a bit of a walk, but the tram stop is very close, so getting around was still easy.
We didn’t try the breakfast since it wasn’t included, but honestly, everything else was so good that we really don’t even care.
To all travelers — especially Korean and Western visitors who might skip Dalian thinking it’s “not worth it” or don’t see many foreigners here — do yourself a favor and stay here.
This was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere.
If we come back to Dalian, we will 100% stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

SSeanchorSi tratta di un raro hotel-castello in puro stile europeo, con un'ottima posizione, a due passi da Piazza Xinghai. È molto comodo per mangiare e viaggiare e ci sono auto speciali che vengono a prendervi su e giù per la montagna. La stanza è molto grande. La camera con vista mare si affaccia sul ponte che attraversa il mare e la vista è davvero impressionante. Le strutture interne sono un po' vecchie, ma nel complesso accettabili. Il servizio è caloroso e premuroso. La hall è magnifica e suggestiva. Nel pomeriggio sono previsti anche spettacoli interattivi per bambini. Ci sono diversi ascensori nella hall ed è facile perdersi. La qualità della colazione è nella media, a parte il prezzo elevato, tutto il resto è soddisfacente.

YYeekoLa posizione è fenomenale!!! Splendida vista dall'alto. Puoi guardare in basso e vedere la città e il mare. La vista notturna è spettacolare. L'hotel è molto pulito! Avere abbastanza servizi per alcuni giorni. Tuttavia, se vuoi che la tua camera sia pulita, dovresti fornire all'hotel dettagli specifici su ciò di cui hai bisogno, ad esempio portare fuori la spazzatura e pulire il letto o aspirare il pavimento, ecc. Non l'abbiamo fatto, abbiamo solo chiesto di pulire la stanza e solo la spazzatura è stata portata via ma la stanza era ancora così com'è. Inoltre, in questo momento sono in corso importanti lavori di costruzione dalle 5:00 alle 22:00. Quindi se il rumore ti dà fastidio, scusa ma non puoi farci niente :(. Il letto scricchiola molto, i cuscini sono morbidissimi e il posto è molto confortevole. Non prenoterei sicuramente di nuovo d'estate. Grazie ~

UUtente ospiteMost of the staff do not speak English at all! Only the guys at the reception speak good English and all questions had to be resolved with them, including the restaurant menu - no one in the restaurant, even with my use of a Chinese online translator, could help me with questions about the menu and when I asked the person at the reception to help me understand the menu, it turned out that the kitchen could not cook either the first course from the menu or the second. With dietary restrictions and allergies, you can die of hunger here.
I consider it unacceptable to have non-English-speaking staff in a franchise of an English establishment.
The cook at breakfast talks on the phone right at the place where food is prepared during breakfast. I wanted to ask him a question about the dishes on the first day - he was texting on the phone, on the second day he was directly talking on the phone.
The dishes at breakfast are either not named at all or are named only in Chinese.
There was no seller in the store at the hotel no matter how many times I went in to buy a T-shirt. In the end, I tried on what I was interested in at the store, chose it and went to the reception to pay for it. The next day, a salesperson appeared in the store and told me that the T-shirt I bought the day before had a 20% discount for a month, but when I paid for it, I paid it full price and thus I was deceived by 20% of the cost of the T-shirt and did not give any receipt.
The pool is very small and not deep for such a huge hotel. If there is someone else in the pool besides your partner, there is not enough space.
The sea near the hotel is dirty. Nothing is suitable for swimming - there are no sun loungers, there is no space on the beach specifically for the guests of the hotel. The beach is across the road from the hotel.
There was only one coffee machine at breakfast and it didn't work both days. You could ask a restaurant worker for coffee.
The hotel by the way has a cool energetic staff and that's nice. The room cleaning is high-quality.
There are renovations going on at the hotel and guests can't use all the hotel areas.

AArtMWe were travelling as a famliy of four with two boys. We chose the hotel because of reviews and great location.
Locations is outstanding, a lot of places to eat nearby, german restaurant on B1 floor, several big shopping malls in walking distance (don't make our mistake, there are TWO big supermarkets in those buildings, one in Mykal, the better and bigger one in the building in front of it). In shopping malls there are restaurants and food courts which is convenient. For us it's been useful because my younger boy is quite selective in food preferences. Hotel personnel had been nice and helpful, not a single issue with them. In the hotel there is swimming pool and some bathing area with smaller pools at different temperature. A great place to attend after long-long day in Dalian. Food selection for breakfast is also quite nice.
What issues we had during our stay:
Aircon had been barely working. Definitely insufficient for four people in one room, it was too warm to sleep, we had to keep window open at night to try to make it to comfortable temperature. Mosqiutos were terrible, it was suprise that insects made it to 18th floor, but I believe they got in through aircon system. In-room refrigerator had been terrible and not cooling anything. It would probably be similar if there was no refrigerator at all.
Overall great place to stay.

KK LacsOcean loft is an apartment. Not a hotel. The location is perfect for tourist.and the view from the window is beautiful. But i would say the cleanliness isnt good. The toilet smells. And there are crumbs of biscuit on the floor. But overall its okay. Because of the location i would give it 5/10.

LLeeSuil호텔 서비스를 그닥 이용하지 않아 서비스는 잘 모르겠습니다.
하지만 위치와 가격이 모든 걸 상쇄하네요.
아... 단점으로 복도에서 담배 냄새가 좀 납니다.
청소문제가 아니라 실내에서 흡연하는 게 밖으로 나오는 것 같네요.
금연객실 요청해서 배정받았는데 실내는 괜찮았습니다.

UUtente anonimoL'hotel accoglie stranieri. Grande posizione, a piedi dalla stazione Dalian, essenzialmente sulla piazza Zhongshan. Molti negozi e ristoranti vicino. La stanza era buona, ci è anche una lavatrice (non l'ha usata però). Forse l’unico problema era che la carta di soggiorno non funzionava, quindi ho dovuto ottenere una password, che era scaduta ogni giorno a mezzanotte, e ho dovuto contattare la ricezione per ottenere una nuova. Ma non è così che dovrebbe essere, quindi non mi preoccuparei troppo.In generale, una grande opzione.
