DdbxuanyanL'hotel sembra nuovo e si trova in una posizione molto comoda. È molto vicino al molo della Grande Barriera Corallina, a soli sette minuti a piedi, e la camera offre una vista sull'oceano. Accanto c'è un delizioso ristorante vietnamita che serve pho e c'è un mercato notturno proprio accanto.
Il problema principale di questo hotel è il forte odore di muffa, che si nota immediatamente fin dal momento in cui si entra nella hall. Sebbene il servizio fosse eccellente, la camera che ci è stata assegnata inizialmente era estremamente stantia e senza finestre. Dopo averlo segnalato alla reception, la signora ci ha immediatamente cambiato camera e ci ha offerto gratuitamente un upgrade a una con balcone. La nuova camera aveva ancora un odore di muffa, ma la situazione era notevolmente migliorata grazie alla ventilazione.
Per motivi di salute, non consiglierei più questo hotel.

MMark J GCi piaceva il nostro soggiorno. La posizione è grande. Camminare a molti ristoranti, mercati e esplanade. Le camere sono spaziose con nespresso stile caffè e vari tè complimentari nella stanza. La TV aveva anche molti film a richiesta. Il colazione non era incluso nel nostro soggiorno, ma abbiamo mangiato una volta e ha avuto grande valore per quello che era disponibile. Lo consiglierei e restare di nuovo.

Ssuper fishWe stayed for four nights over the Easter holiday in a panorama sea view room in the new tower.
First of all, the location is excellent. The pool area has a sandy beach, and compared to the Hilton next door, the water was much clearer and very pleasant. The view is absolutely beautiful. However, when the tide goes out, it turns into what feels like a “panoramic mudflat view,” so I would recommend carefully considering the timing of your stay.
On the other hand, there were several issues with the room. There is no balcony, and the windows cannot be opened. There were mosquitoes in the room, and I was bitten multiple times, which caused itching and swelling. The insect repellent device in the hallway was empty, which made me question the quality of housekeeping management. When I spoke to a female staff member at reception, I was told that only body spray repellent was available, and no further assistance was offered, so I had to purchase and install my own insect repellent.
In addition, there was a sewage-like smell coming from the bathroom. The mirror and sink were not properly cleaned and appeared dirty. The room and hallway also had a moldy smell, and due to the humidity, the bed linens felt damp. The duvet was thin and not very comfortable. As I am sensitive to smells, these issues made me feel nauseous and unwell.
Later, my husband spoke to a male staff member at reception. Although the hotel was fully booked and we were unable to change rooms, he responded with sincerity, apologized thoroughly, and instructed housekeeping to carry out a deep cleaning. When we returned from going out, the bathroom had been properly cleaned and the sewage smell was gone. The moldy smell in the room did not completely disappear, but it had been masked with deodorizer, and we were able to sleep well that night.
However, the same issues returned the following day. As it was the Easter holiday and other hotels were fully booked, we had no choice but to stay until the end of our reservation. Afterward, I checked reviews and found many similar complaints about the moldy smell, which made me regret not researching more thoroughly beforehand. I had assumed that as a five-star hotel, it would be fine.
Overall, the reception staff were kind, friendly, and professional. In particular, the male staff member who assisted us was excellent. On the other hand, I felt that the quality of housekeeping needs improvement.
In my opinion, these issues are largely due to a design flaw—specifically, the building was designed with aesthetics prioritized over functionality by the construction company and architect, resulting in rooms where windows cannot be opened despite the humid tropical climate. The older tower, which has balconies and windows that can be opened, may not have the same problems.
I would not recommend this hotel to those who are sensitive to smells, but for those who are not, it can still be a wonderful place to stay given its location and facilities.

UUtente ospiteL'hotel è vicino all'aeroporto e il personale della reception è stato molto cordiale. Ho fatto un giro a Green Island e la posizione era ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi dall'hotel. Non c'erano spazzolini da denti in camera, ma era possibile richiederne uno alla reception. Ho trascorso due notti confortevoli. Ci tornerei sicuramente se dovessi tornare a Cairns.

UUtente ospiteLa stanza era pulita e con una cucina ben attrezzata, il letto di grande dimensione re era comodo. Era un po' rumoroso la notte di essere al fronte della strada principale. Il personale di ricezione non era amichevole, ma hanno fatto il loro pezzo. Il tipo di manutenzione è stato molto utile quando abbiamo bisogno di assistenza nelle operazioni di lavaggio.
Non è un cattivo alloggio per il prezzo affidabile.

SSalted BroadbeansThe unit is adequate for my family of six for a 3-night stay. Basic necessities are generally met, and the overall stay was acceptable. However, there were several maintenance and usability issues that affected comfort. Some air-conditioning remotes were faulty or missing batteries, requiring us to swap between rooms to find working ones. The telephone/RJ45 connection head was also broken and left dangling, with wiring not properly connected, which gave a poor impression of upkeep. In terms of sleeping comfort, the beds are quite soft and the pillows offer very little support. The positioning of the electrical wall outlets behind the bed also made it inconvenient, as we had to shift the bed forward to access the sockets. For kitchen use, it would be helpful to provide basic dishwashing supplies such as a small bottle of dishwashing liquid and a sponge, especially when only a few items are used in the dishwasher. On a positive note, the bathroom facilities are in good condition. Water pressure is strong and hot water is consistently available, which made showers comfortable. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there is clear room for improvement in maintenance and basic guest amenities.

UUtente anonimoOverall we had a good stay here but found the housekeeping policy very strange. There is no housekeeping unless you pay for it (or stay for 8 days). We could change our towels personally at the front desk but were requested to take out our own trash and had no way of vacuuming after a long stay. However, the room was adequate and we very much enjoyed the location, which couldn’t have been better.

___jtLa posizione non è troppo cattiva. Situato a 15 minuti a piedi dalle acque e dalla zona principale del ristorante. Situato su una strada principale, ma tranquilla di notte. Ci hanno lasciato mettere il nostro bagaglio quando non potevamo ancora controllare e lasciarlo lì dopo aver fatto il check-out e aspettato il nostro volo. La giovane donna che riceveva il nostro servizio era molto utile e gentile.
