I stayed in Azul de Panglao for two nights and it was nothing short of a comfortable and cozy stay. I stayed at Room 02 which is beside the pool and comes with free breakfast. It could have been perfect it they also have free netflix access.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is nice on a quiet area. The hotel is much prettier in person. I think the only thing that can be improve is to have ventilation in the first floor room because whenever I enter the room there is a musty odor. But overall, perfect place to stay

The property was beutifull, but the primary reason I booked this hotel hotel was the late check out. The hotel claimed that check out could happen until 17:00. I have been traveling for 3 days, and was looking forward to a long sleep. Instead, I was woken up after 4-5, hours of fitfull rest. There was also a pen of puppies yapping all morning literally right outside the door of my room. When I explained the situation, the manager on duty displayed zero empathy for my situation; claiming the rooms were fully booked and they couldn't offer the reward. She even had the gall to try to emotionally manipulate me and say I should appreciate that they offer late check out for guest, as no other hotels in the area do. I was visibly shocked, and said. Yes. I know. This is why I chose this hotel over others and paid a premium price. I asked if they could offer me some compensation for the difficulty, but they flat out refused to offer even a partial refund. It's just another example of why I should stay away from the Philippines. I've had so many instances of quasi-scams like this. Pulling bait and switches, and refusing to help after. I also often travel in Thailand, and something like this would never happen. Thai people bend over backwards to fix issues with customers. Filipinos manipulate and take advantage of problems. If you are coming here in hopes of a late check out. Save your money, and be warned.

Beautiful room and interior of the lobby. Really comfortable bed. And the staff and the owners were the sweetest and kindest people. You can even do laundry and rent motorbikes at the hotel. We would definitely recommend anyone looking for a great place to stay in Panglao.

i love everything in azul de panglao accessible to everywhere situated in quiet area The famous Mist Resto is just walking distance away and alona beach is just one ride away. stayed for 3 nights without breaking my bank room is clean everyone who works there do their job perfectly nice pool aesthetic hotel design free coffee and free water 24/7 food is delicious , love the egg drop sandwich very wide shared dining with complete dine ware and they also offer motorbike for rent , cheap rent for honda click.

This is a cosy boutique hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Anthony was always there to lend a helping hand. If you need help planning activities in Bohol, the staff is willing to provide suggestions ahead of your visit. It is also located near Alona, accessible via tuk tuk or a 10 to 15 mins stroll. Provision of box tissue would have been good.

Great Value for Money: Compared to other hotels in the area, Azul de Panglao offers great value for money. The price is significantly cheaper while still providing excellent amenities and service. Complimentary Breakfast and More: We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast of bread and butter every morning, which was a nice touch. Additionally, free water was available anytime, and they even provided bananas, which the kids loved. Nice Amenities: The hotel boasts a nice shower with ample toiletries and towels provided. The pool was a big hit with our children and a perfect spot for a refreshing dip. Convenient Location: Azul de Panglao is conveniently located just a short tricycle ride away from Alona Beach, probably around 1 km. This made it easy for us to enjoy the beach and nearby restaurants without any hassle. Overall, Azul de Panglao exceeded our expectations in every way. We will rate the low average of our stay at Azul de Panglao Bohol in terms of the hotel's service and some of the facility's issues. Firstly, we were assigned to the guest room next to the swimming pool and in front of the smoking area, where they placed a trash bin-ashtray. Ironically, the guest room description is non-smoking, but the smoking area is right in front of the room. The downside of these are the disturbance from guests hollering while enjoying their time in the swimming pool and the smokes from the smoking guests in front of our room. One night, a guest took a chair from our porch and sat smoking in front of our room. Secondly, for the service, we left for the beach on our third morning and asked them to make up the room or at least replace the towels and take out the garbage. We were back in the afternoon, approached by a lady with eyeglasses and a male staff. He said they hadn't cleaned the room because they got so busy. Then, the lady seconded they would have the cleaner clean the room soon. They never did. So, after a quarter of a day of waiting, I took the trash out of the room myself and asked for new trash bags. Another thing we experienced was the consistent noise from the guests on our third night, which I reported to the night staff on duty at around 1:30 in the morning, and day noises on several occasions from kids and other guests and stomping feet sounds from the second floor. There were many ants in the bathroom and bugs in the room, which I find normal when you stay in the province. On a lighter note, we appreciated the free water station, the free sachets of coffee and cream in the common area, and the bananas on the counter. The wifi is fast, and the room smells good.
