Its nice hostel late check in and staff always smiling, gives u feeling that you are welcome the breakfast was okay for the price, i loved the pizza fresh and with discount , beds is comfortable and bathroom is ao clean only the access card stopped working fir few rime i think they need to replace it, in general i loved the place 100% Recommended

Had a challenge to sleep in this Travelodge, the window was wafer thin and didnt keep any noise out at all, and being a busy part of newcastle, I would have hoped this would have been better. I could hear the room next doors TV in the middle of the night too. Half of the curtain rail was hanging off the wall, I managed to hook a curtain clip against the broken fixing to keep it up while I was there. Not my favourite Travelodge.

The hotel is very close to Newcastle train station, walking in 5 minutes. About 10-20 minutes walking distance to city center and Newcastle University. Great location. The room is not big but enough for two of us . It is tidy, quite and comfortable. Would be my choice next time travel to Newcastle. Recommend.

The room was basic but spotlessly clean, as were the toilets & showers. The bed was very comfortable & the heating was good, and it wasn't as noisy as I expected. The staff were friendly & very helpful too. This was my first time staying at the Albatross Hostel as I was going the Darren Hayes concert at the O2 City Hall & it wasn't too far from the venue. I would recommend this hostel to anyone & would definitely stay there again.

Well situated and easy to get to. Facilities are decent and it is handy if you wish to cook. If you do not wish to cook and to eat out, then there are plenty of places and restaurants. There is parking and it is clean.
