Viaggiamo tantissimo, ma è difficile che un hotel riesca a superare la gentilezza, la disponibilità, i sorrisi che abbiamo trovato e ricevuto durante la nostra settimana newyorkese al The Pierre! Non trovo le parole giuste per ringraziare TUTTO lo staff dell’hotel! Un altra volta New York? Senza nessun dubbio al Pierre. Alla colazione c’è Arianne che ti accoglie con un sorriso e ti accompagna al tavolo, Massimo che dopo la prima mattina ricorda per i giorni seguenti cosa vuoi mangiare, Jeffrey e tutti gli altri. I Consierge Ivette, Abraham e gli altri ognuno pronto ad aiutarti a realizzare i tuoi desideri. Mai stanchi di trovare la soluzione perfetta fatta su misura per te (tipo il volo in elicottero Last Minute). Alla Reception gentilezza e sorrisi. Non si può chiedere di più! La nostra camera luminosa, spaziosa, pulitissima, servizio due volte al giorno. Chi ti porta in su e giù in ascensore (eh si al Pierre trovi ancora i cosiddetti ‘Lift Boy’ nonché ‘Lift Ladies’). Sempre con un sorriso vero, chiunque ti chiede come stai, se hai passato una bella giornata. Niente superficialità. Il portinaio che ti chiama il taxi con premura e efficienza. Credo aver detto tutto. E non dimentichiamo lo staff ‘quasi’ invisibile che ti saluta ovunque ti incrocia. Non posso che concludere così : al Pierre abituato di ricevere la crème de la crème e la Upper Class di New York, il comune mortale viene accolto come un re/una regina. Plaza è famosa a New York per chiederti di conoscere tutti. La piazza è molto buona, suddivisa in alloggi privati e alberghi. Il loro hotel è il mio miglior hotel è un'ampia generazione di cibo di nobile donna americana sottoterra, che si riunisce da LadyM a buon ristorante.Ma non so se la piazza cibo e cibo è chiusa. La stanza è riparata come vecchia, aprire la serratura e avere tutti i tipi di dispositivi elettronici che piace la moda dovrebbe essere soddisfatto.

Spent 4 nights here on a business trip Fall 2022. Would not stay again. The location is excellent, being right on the Park and walking distance to much of midtown. The lobby lounge is nice and a good place to meet people for a drink. This is where my positive views end. The hotel looks dated and my room was small and had no views at all. The price was outrageous for the quality of the product delivered. The Ritz used to have a premium brand name and I find ever since Marriott bought them, the brand overall has been degraded. This hotel in particular has a terrible price to value proposition. I am sure you and I can do better elsewhere.

Va bene, sembra il grado della stagione domestica, ma la trapunta è un po' strana e ogni strato della trapunta a tre strati è molto sottile e separato durante il sonno. La colazione è al piano terra, perché l'epidemia è di natura da asporto, quindi puoi prendere quanto vuoi, solo pane, succo, caffè e frutta, il che è molto monotono. L'unico vantaggio è che la posizione è molto vicina a dove voglio andare.Il condotto di scarico è molto rumoroso quando dormo la notte e ci sono vibrazioni a bassa frequenza quando l'orecchio viene premuto contro il cuscino. Il tempo di attesa per il check-in e il check-out più lungo. Il costo del parcheggio più costi aggiuntivi ammontava a $ 135! Avevamo la camera king deluxe. La dimensione della stanza va bene. Era abbastanza pulito. L'asciugacapelli che avevamo non funzionava, niente pantofole in camera, niente borsa per la biancheria; per pulizie, non fanno il bucato. Quindi ci hanno dato invece un sacco della spazzatura. L'esperienza complessiva è stata piuttosto deludente, forse ci aspettavamo troppo dall'hotel Hyatt.

Siamo stati per 4 notti nel maggio 2023. Partiamo dalle cose buone: 1. Personale molto gentile e disponibile; hanno saputo sopperire a molte mancanze di base. 2. Posizione perfetta; affacciato su Central Park. 3. Stanze molto spaziose. Ora le cose che proprio non vanno: 1. Bagno minuscolo. Praticamente impossibile starci in due (a occhio meno di due metri quadrati) 2. Servizi nella stanza assenti: sebbene fosse uno “studio”, non c’era un bollitore per l’acqua, frigo bar vuoto, accessori per il bagno (shampoo etc) contati e non ripristinati dopo il primo uso, anche se quando richiesti ce ne hanno portati in quantità industriale. 3. Assenza di ciabatte (quando richieste sono poi arrivate), niente accappatoi, oggetti di toilette, mini cucito, calza scarpe… vuoto cosmico. 4. Pulizia così così. 5. Servizio colazione pessimo (almeno al bar al livello lobby); il secondo giorno avevano finito il pane… 6. Hotel che mostra con chiarezza i segni del tempo; un radicale rinnovo degli ambienti sarebbe davvero indispensabile. Visto il costo (più di 800€ a notte per la stanza) forse a NY si può trovare di meglio. Peccato davvero; le tante recensioni positive mi hanno decisamente tratto in inganno. Non tornerò.

Ho prenotato per mia figlia e compagni di classe. Dopo aver reagito al personale del servizio clienti di Ctrip ”Ke Xin”, ha seguito in tempo e risolto il problema lo stesso giorno. Il cameriere ha finalmente inviato due trapunte su cui dormono gli esseri umani normali. Il manager di turno ha detto che forse la comunicazione era scarsa , ma io Mia figlia può comunicare con la gente del posto in inglese parlato e i suoi compagni di classe hanno vissuto qui fin dall'infanzia, quindi che dire della comunicazione? Qui vorremmo ringraziare il personale del servizio clienti Kexin che ha attivamente seguito la giornata e ha risolto questo problema per noi.I bambini hanno anche sentito l'aiuto di Ctrip sempre e ovunque.

Two doormen stationed at the front entrance saw us retrieving our luggage from the cab trunk, but made no attempt to help. I had checked in a day earlier and was great full that the room was made available at 12 PM . They did tell us there was no view; I was okay with that as we are in NY regularly and at this trip it was not a priority. I haven’t stayed at this hotel in a few years, but remembered the excellent butler service and lovely accommodations, and was looking forward to it. The checkin felt like something one would expect at a Highway motel. No explanation of any services, no welcome drink, no Butler introductions, nobody accompanied you to the room or directed you to the elevator. The room had the tiniest window, with a curtain without a valance (# 1406) facing a wall a few feet away. No Natural light what so ever. The leather head rest on the bed was ripped on a couple of spots. It had only one not very comfortable lounge chair in a fairly large king room. So if you are a couple, you cannot even sit together for a cup of coffee. In the past at checkin the butler would introduce themselves, offer coffee , tea etc and make sure you were satisfied with the accommodations. We had ballet tickets for a matinee, so initially decided to just go with the flow. Went for a quick lunch at the Astor, paid around $170 for 2 ceaser salads, a bloody mary and a glass of Duvel Leroy Champagne. I have no problems paying premium prices for value , but $28 for a Bloody Mary with a celery stalk garnish and stoli vodka? They claimed to have invented it , but definitely not worth the price. When we returned back from the ballet and returned to the room , it seemed really depressing. They call it an interior room , but it could easily be in a windowless basement. We requested a room change and requested to speak to a manager. We were told the manager was downstairs and would call us back. We were going to dinner, so left the front desk our cell number. The manager ever returned the call. On our return when we requested a room change, we were told that they were completely sold out. At this point we were exhausted an decided to just let it go and returned to our room for a good nights sleep. It was around 10:30 PM, and there was a continuous loud rumbling sound. When we called the front desk , we were told that the noise was from their service elevator which was being used a lot that night as 2 of their 4 passenger elevators had been broken for a couple of days. They offered to now move us to another room. So at 11 Pm we had to get dressed and pack up to move to another room. The new room (1903), had a moldy smell. Got up next morning with a back ache as the bed was not comfortable. In the morning the moldy smell seems to have gotten even worse and I did report that. I was told it was because of air conditioning! We called the butler for coffee in the morning. The French press coffee arrived with c

Never again, the only thing I liked was a lovely cleaning lady. The room was wrong, very money-grabbing hotel, do not complain as may as well talk to a brick wall. The room had poor quality in places, and loud noise was random in the bedroom felt was sleeping on a hard floor and then a bed, my friend who came to visit said the roller bed was awful. Sofa beds would question hygiene as usually they open up and you do not sleep in the seating area. Nothing really there, no restaurant. Just not a hotel like we have in the Uk. When things go wrong that is when you see what a place is all about, My Daughter got food poisoning outside the hotel, yes they were helpful when asked but to come back to sick and still left after was told it was there, even the next day had to sort. No one asked how we were etc, that shows you are just a payment and nothing else. So now doing some more research on a better place.Oh yeah, hardly any kitchen stuff, 2 mugs , 2 plates, 3 people , 1 bar soap.
