5 Stars – Exceptional Stay at Meixi Lake Hotel We had a fantastic stay at Meixi Lake Hotel, A Luxury Collection, in Changsha. Our Grand Deluxe Suite on a high floor was spacious, beautifully designed, and featured sweeping views of Meixi Lake — even from the shower and bathtub, which was a unique and luxurious touch. Watching TV from the bathtub was an unexpected delight. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, making for a restful and relaxing stay. The second-floor Chinese restaurant served excellent cuisine, and Manager Alice provided outstanding service that truly enhanced our dining experience. We also appreciated the warm hospitality of Manager Evan He, who not only recommended a superb local restaurant but also made the reservation for us — the food there was outstanding. We enjoyed a peaceful walk around the lake, visited the nearby Meixihu Cultural Art Center, and made use of the hotel’s well-equipped fitness center and relaxing sauna. Highly recommended for both comfort and service — a true luxury experience in Changsha.

From the moment I arrived, the architectural charm stood out: sleek, modern white buildings nestled against a lush forest backdrop, with rustic stone retaining walls adding a warm, earthy contrast. The interiors are just as thoughtfully designed—cozy lounge areas feature a crackling wood-burning stove that invites you to kick back and unwind (I spent hours with my feet up by the fire, sipping tea, and forgetting the outside world). The outdoor spaces are equally delightful: sun-dappled patios with soft flooring, where my spaniel wandered by (a sweet, unexpected touch!), and gravel paths that lead to sweeping views of the wooded hills. Every corner feels intentional, balancing minimalist design with the raw beauty of the surrounding nature. What truly makes this place special is the tranquility. It’s quiet enough to hear the rustle of leaves and birdsong, yet the amenities are comfortable and well-appointed—no roughing it here. The staff (though I didn’t interact much, thanks to the seclusion) seemed attentive, and the little touches (like the firewood stacked neatly by the stove) made the stay feel personal and cared for. If I had to nitpick, it’s that the remote location means you’ll need a car to explore nearby spots—but that’s part of the appeal for a true escape. Rating: 5/5 This hotel isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a chance to slow down, breathe, and soak in nature’s beauty. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The Hotel located perfectly next to the water park and ski ground. The Manager at the reception is very helpful. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant and it was great. However, the downside is that breakfast was terrible. Staff was not helpful and the food was all cold.

Ho prenotato al Kanglai per il mio primo soggiorno a Changsha perché è vicino all'aeroporto e offre un servizio di prelievo gratuito, molto comodo visto che arriviamo a mezzanotte. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile, ha risposto a tutte le nostre domande e ci ha anche fornito un servizio di sorveglianza notturna. Un ringraziamento speciale alla receptionist (龙姑娘) per averci aiutato con l'app DIDI, dato che abbiamo avuto qualche problema a contattare l'autista. Questo soggiorno mi ha lasciato un'ottima impressione, essendo la mia prima volta in Cina, e prenderò in considerazione l'idea di tornarci in futuro.

E'veramente saggio scegliere l'hotel di Zhangsha!L'hotel ha la sua scena del giardino super grande, l'ambiente è limpido e elegante, la tranquillità nel giardino, e il viaggio verso le attrazioni urbane è anche molto conveniente. Deve essere prestata particolare attenzione a lodare il piccolo e il piccolo personale della reception, a gestire l'alloggio e la caduta efficienti, a tenere atteggiamento moderato e paziente, a spiegare intimemente le strategie di baciare il parco e giocare intorno. Quando si tratta di domande, rispondete in tempo e con attenzione. La salubrità della camera ospite è molto dettagliata, il letto è morbido e confortevole, il rapporto costo-benefici complessivo è eccezionale.
