Hotel in zona Mare Aux Joncs, Black River Gorges, Mauritius Waterfall, Mauritius

Buongiorno come il titolo lascia immaginare la nostra è stata una vacanza da sogno, ma prima di passare ai ringraziamenti vorremmo giusto chiarire due piccole note negative che però, a confronto a tutto il resto del soggiorno, non hanno fatto la differenza. La prima nota negativa purtroppo ci tocca darla al manager dell'hotel,al quale vorremmo ricordare che gli ospiti dovrebbero essere tutti uguali,a prescindere dal ceto sociale,dall'età,dall'orientamento sessuale o da quanto abbiano potuto spendere.Non stiamo qui a specificare quanto successo siamo sicure che lui se ne ricorderà dopo la recensione e magari possa capire anche il modo in cui ci ha fatto sentire,e va specificato che anche se ha avuto la possibilità di rimediare non l'ha fatto e questo per noi èancor più grave.La seconda nota negativa riguarda il pacchetto viaggio di nozze.Ci è stata offerta una cena romantica a lume di candela e con nostra sorpresa al check out abbiamo scoperto che ci erano state addebitate le bevande.Ora noi avevamo una mezza pensione e sapevamo che le bevande non erano incluse in questa formula,ma perdonatemi invitare a cena qualcuno e poi lasciare le bevande fuori, tra l'altro in maggior parte non richieste,questo per noi è perdersi in un bicchier d'acqua;soprattutto considerando l'ingente spesa affrontata.Secondo noi questo è un aspetto assolutamente da migliorare. Adesso però tocca a tutto il resto e davvero non sappiamo da dove cominciare. In cima alla lista delle cose positive non può non esserci che il nostro maggiordomo amal;lui che è stato il punto fermo della nostra vacanza,al quale ancora rivolgiamo i nostri ringraziamenti e più calorosi saluti.Lui che si è preso cura di noi sotto ogni aspetto anche quando non gli era dovuto,che ci ha coccolato in un modo eccezionale, sempre attento a qualunque esigenza.Un ringraziamento speciale va anche a darshini la receptionist che tanto carinamente ci ha accolte all'arrivo,ma che ci ha seguite per l'intero soggiorno.E ancora grazie a tutto lo staff dello stars,il ristorante principale dello Shanti, in particolar modo un caloroso abbraccio a jali,annick e sheila(liala) che con la loro professionalità e simpatia ci hanno sempre fatto sentire a nostro agio.Sicuramente un altro punto forte di questo resort è il Rum shed bar dove non solo abbiamo mangiato benissimo e abbiamo avuto la possibilità di assaggiare dei rum locali e non, grazie al ”Dottore” che era bravissimo e anche molto preparato. Grazie a Keshan,Vishal,Vick e Shiva, siete stati meravigliosi.Un altra ”chicca” è stata sicuramente la spa dotata di una jacuzzi spettacolare all'aperto e con acqua riscaldata si stava da dio anche in tarda serata.Ma soprattutto grazie alle mani d'oro di Budha e Changsan abbiamo goduto di un massaggio ben oltre le nostre aspettative.davvero senza parole.brave,brave brave. We went for our honeymoon and had such an amazing experience. The hotel was a beautiful place and the beach was incredible. The staff were the most friendly and attentive we have had at a hotel, they were more than willing to help with absolutely anything and it never seemed a chore. Jason made the best cocktails, a true professional, and Vish was absolutely incredible too, they were both so friendly and made us feel so welcome, all of the bar staff were but these two we spent most time around. Temitayo was the person serving us most as a waitress and always welcomed us with a beaming smile and showed that she genuinely cared about our experience there. Eric, Kingsley, Andrew and the whole entertainment team made the evenings such a fun time to dance and party, but if you wanted to relax there were other options in other areas of the hotel. All in all a 10/10 experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Thank you so much to all the staff, we will visit again in the future!

Anisha was the most friendliest and attentive of the food and beverage servers which I encountered during my stay . She was probably the only member who presented her name while serving me. She recommended items on the sushi menu that did not disappoint. Anisha definitely made my stay memorable although it was business related, The breakfast selection is good but the hot selection during this service is a bit cold. The room was comfortable but smelled of smoke although im not a smoker. Overall the cleanliness of the hotel was acceptable.

Idealmente situato vicino all'aeroporto per sovrapposizioni. La navetta era in tempo e senza problemi. Il pranzo era un buffet che serviva per una varietà di gusti e ci era molta offerta. Lo stesso per il colazione. La nostra stanza era stata creata per una famiglia e aveva tutto quello che ci serviva per il nostro soggiorno.

Albergo ottimo per spezzare l'inverno italiano. La natura è bellissima. La spiaggia ben attrezzata. Le camere ampie, luminose e pulite. Il tutto incluso è la formula migliore. Deepak è la persona che vi può aiutare sul posto. Gentile e presente. Chef Vikash e Dino sono a vostra disposizione.

Отличный отель! Сервис на высоте! Особенно радует нестандартное оформление территории и архитектуры. Видно что в этот проект вложено много сил! Не забудьте прокатиться по реке!

The complex is a local architectural gem, beautifully situated, integrated into nature and the beach. First-class construction. The people who work here make an alert, motivated and very friendly impression. The regular service procedures work well. As is often the case in Africa, special requests require a little patience and several attempts. We found the breakfast varied and good, although the fruit was only second quality on 6 out of 8 days. It was only when the resort owner arrived that the fruit was first class 😉. In the evening, the buffet was ok and some dishes in the Asian restaurant were very good. However, it is worth exploring restaurants outside the resort in the evening. The excursions organised by the hotel (South Island, snorkelling tour) were great fun. The massage at the spa was very good. Taxis are relatively expensive, but in our case the drivers were very reliable. Anyone hoping that the air conditioning will cool the room to below 21 degrees Celsius (70 Fahrenheit) will be disappointed, as this did not seem feasible in our case. At least a fan provides some cooling.

Ottima accoglienza , che fa davvero la differenza . Il nostro referente italiano Alessio , ci ha guidato dal primo giorno ed è stato attento ad ogni dettaglio e qualsiasi nostra richiesta (anche quasi impossibile) ottima cena al social house con lo chef super.Ma c’è da dire che davvero lo staff è impeccabile.

Kot Nou è un fantastico ristorante in riva al mare del resort e il personale è davvero molto presente,veloce e disponibile. Cibo ottimo,abbondante e di qualità. Cena tipica Mauritania con una dolce musica che accompagna il tutto. Bravissimo Krishna che ci ha accompagnato in tutto e spiegato i vari assaggi con educazione e professionalità.
