Oh my god ! This was the worst hotel I have ever been too. When we first arrived, no one to helped get our luggages from the car. We was greater with the most horrible welcome drink ever. If you are diabetic do not drink it. Your sugar level will rise up. Thank god our butler Emanuel was heelp us bring our bags to the room. We rented 3 bedrooms and all of them were disgusting. One was situated next to the septic and smelled like man hole. All 3 bathrooms were full with mold. We checked in at 3pm and then checked out at 6pm !! What a waist of time. It was definitely not the Mauritian Standard. This hotel should close their doors

Me and my husband stayed here for one week in October 2022. Very nice hotel with everything you need. We stayed at the adult only area which was quiet and nice. Beautiful long beaches where we walked every day. Very well equipped gym, large buffe with delicious and healthy food for all meals. Bar service by the pool and beautiful view to the sea with all the surfers to Watch. It was close to the mountain le Morne Brabant where we hiked. The room was clean and the staff helpful and polite. I really recommend this hotel and would love to come back.

We stayed in Riu creole Mauritius for 2 nights (2 adults + 2 Children) in August 2022. First of all the Reception staff have no customer service skills all. They sell this hotel to Mauritius citizens which is fair enough but they just cannot handle busy times especially during the holidays with both local and international Guets. It looks like a market place once you enter the property! The staff at reception and beach bar treat Mauritian Citizens like they are doing them a favour when serving them and are very rude! And yet as Mauritians living in the UK- we still paid £220 per night which makes us wonder why everyone is not treated with equal Customer Service! The most important and most shocking part of our stay was the first night, when we found the Bed sheets in the kids bed not washed and completely disgusting with snot all over (see pic). We spent hours calling Reception to send housekeeping- they keep saying they were sending someone but of course No One ever came! Finally we asked for the Duty Manager to come to our Room and after seeing the bedsheets he apologised and agreed this was unacceptable! Our kids were in shock watching the whole scenario while they should have been relaxing in bed but Our first night was sadly Ruined ! We stayed at many hotels from 3* to 5* and this is the first time we experienced such neglect with hygiene in a hotel that advertised itself as luxury. Especially in times of Covid/sickness you would expect places like hotels to be more careful with hygiene!!! This is definitely NOT a luxury hotel and does not even deserve a 3 star rating! Both the Service & Hygiene are appalling!

it was my first time stay in a hotel since my engagement( first honeymoon) . was very proud to be there with my wife . unfortunately we were disappointed with the same and minimalist buffet everyday . the breakfast was very cheap with no live cooking , lunch was same food cook in different ways and the dinner was the same every nights and very tasteless . the other restaurant was on reservation and was book on all our stay . entertainment was not that professional and not that much for the stay . The room was not that bad . positively , the staff were very pleasant namely Emanuel and komal at the reception . the waiters also very pleasant and careful . will surely not recommend

I want to write about the kidness and profesionality of Neeta, the waitress in the terrace! We were more comfy with her around. Thank you Neeta I were for 8 days with my crew, and neeta was amazing with us

We had a very nice stay! Olivier was perfect at assisting us. I am shocked reading the reviews specially from my fellow Mauritian people. Of course it was not perfect but unless you are paying for a 5-star hotel, you cannot expect a 5-star service! We've had tiny issues like we've been having in other hotels around the world even 5-stars one but the most important is how the staff delt with it! And at Riu morne be it for previous stays or this particular stay, we've been assisted very well. Not enough places to charge phones in the room, the staff happily took my sister's phone to charge it while we were having lunch, I blocked my safe 2 times 🙈 and the maintenance guy came to assist both times without complaining and with a huge smile. My boyfriend was drunk one of the nights and got lost in the hotel at night getting back to the room 😂😂 the security guards called me with his phone and kept him busy while I went to get him. No judgement at all by the staff or bad comments even if some guests were annoying. During our stay there was a foreign artist and he was not treated any better than we were, everyone adjusted to make our stay be as smooth as possible, we even wanted to extend but unfortunately we had to resume to work so we can come again. Can't even name who assisted us best every where we went there was at least someone devoted, at Rivière restaurant I wanted a dish but it was not ready yet, the cook brought it at my table once while I was not expecting. To conclude, we had a very good stay, not perfect but as perfect as it could be! Looking forward to getting back there before and after renovation. ☀️☀️
