I stayed at the Pullman Liverpool Hotel for one night as a last-minute booking after reading several reviews and watching a few TikTok videos—and I’m glad I did. On arrival, I was greeted warmly, checked in quickly, and made my way up to my room without any hassle. I had emailed ahead requesting a nice view as it was my first time in Liverpool. I was placed on the 8th floor, which was great, but unfortunately my view overlooked the roof of another building. I did ask if this could be changed, but the hotel was fully booked due to the Easter break, which I completely understood. The room itself was comfortable and overall made for a pleasant stay. The location is a big plus—just a short walk to the Liverpool Museum, bars, restaurants, the wheel, and plenty of shops for a bit of retail therapy. Parking is quite expensive, but the hotel does stamp your ticket which gives you a discount. I checked in at 3:30pm, checked out at 12, and paid £18 for parking—without the discount, it could easily cost 5–8 times more. Now for the negatives: cleanliness could definitely be improved. I met some of the cleaners when checking out—lovely, friendly staff—but the room needed more attention. There was dust on surfaces, hair on the tissue container, only two tissues left, the bathroom and mirrors weren’t cleaned thoroughly, and the shower gel hadn’t been refilled, so after a few pumps there was none left. Overall, despite the cleaning issues, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

Stayed one night with my daughter for my birthday. The hotel is very central and the reception staff were welcoming. Our room was large and modern, but extremely dark, if you plan on doing makeup, it might be worth bringing a lighted mirror. I had requested a quiet room and was placed at the back, but unfortunately there was a constant noise that sounded like a generator, as well as the sound of glass bottles being emptied somewhere. Some guests also returned around 4 a.m., so I was lucky if I got an hour of sleep. That said, I would still stay again.

Interesting hotel. Set in several buildings that have all been amalgamated to create a large hotel. Therefore to our 2nd floor room it was 2 lifts and a rabbit warren of corridors to find our room. Beautiful old buildings combined together with some fantastic staircases and communal areas. It is a basic hotel, but functional in a fantastic location - close to Albert Dock, Liverpool One & Liverpool City Centre. Lots of bars and restaurants on the street of the hotel or in the streets nearby. No kettle etc in room. but you can buy hot drinks from reception. Parking costs 11GBP per night with a voucher from the hotel and the car park is a good 5 min walk, although you can unload with ease outside the hotel. If you want a functional hotel in a great location then that is fine. If you are looking for 5* Luxury book else where and pay 5 times the price :-)

Per me è stato un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo per soggiornare in un giorno di partita. La stanza era enorme e mi piace il vecchio aspetto tradizionale delle stanze con un bagno enorme insieme a un sostanziale set per la preparazione di tè e caffè. Si trova proprio nel centro della città e anche se non ho potuto fare il check-in in anticipo, sono riusciti a custodire i miei bagagli in modo sicuro mentre vagavo per la grande città

Abbiamo avuto un bel soggiorno. La camera standard dell'hotel era molto spaziosa, letto molto confortevole, camera molto pulita e molto bello decoro. Colazione grande, con frutta fresca, pane fatto a casa e una buona selezione di opzioni calde e fredde. Il White Bar era un grande posto per cibo e bevande. Il personale è molto amichevole.

This was one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. When we arrived, we were greeted by a pleasant front desk clerk. The lobby has a lot of character in keeping with the Titanic theme and the pictures of the rooms had the same theme. We arrived at our room (fourth floor #46) located on a dark hallway that was being painted. The room was large and also had some plush features like the curtains, furniture, chandelier and wallpaper. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. Our room was very hot, with no ventilation and one small fan. The desk clerk offered to bring a second fan when we requested a hair dryer, but the second fan never arrived. The windows could not be opened even a crack ”due to safety reasons”. The room was sweltering and sleeping was extremely uncomfortable. In addition, the carpet was very dirty, there was mold on the wall above the bathtub and the sink, the lights beside the beds needed to be replaced, and the towel rack was missing from the wall. There was a small kitchen which was nice, but it was missing the basics (glassware, silverware, plates) and one of the drawers was missing its front. In short, the room was in bad shape and we are very surprised they would host anyone in that room. In the lobby, there was a young man sitting at the Concierge desk and when we asked him for directions, he said he was security and had no idea. He could not have been less interested and barely looked up from his phone. Apparently, the rooftop bar is nice, but we did not go there. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and are pretty easy going when it comes to our expectations. This hotel has so much potential, but the experience was a huge disappointment and we would not stay there again and cannot recommend anyone stay there.

L'aeroporto di Crowne Plaza Liverpool era pulito in tutta, molto comodo letto (Abbiamo un letto matrimoniale in una stanza 003 e 2 doppie in un'altra 049).  Alimento: abbiamo mangiato nella zona del ristorante la prima notte. Due di noi hanno scelto il tonno e uno per la torta di ribecca. La torta era bella. Il tonno doveva tornare per cucinare in piu', mentre entrambi erano ancora nuotando. A quanto pare c'era un ”cacciatore di agenzia” in cucina. Il tonno era molto delizioso quando l'abbiamo ripreso.  Saremmo tutti sicuri di restare di nuovo la prossima volta che visiteremo Liverpool.

Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city. What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking. The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place. Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank. **Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for weekend city breaks, concert-goers, or anyone wanting to soak up Liverpool's vibrant atmosphere.
