Hotel vicino a Centro Eventi Centenary Pavilion, Leeds

We arrived by train so it was crucial that it was literally a few minutes walk from the railway station and it was in the city centre which was ideal for us. Gino D'Acampo restaurant was good quality at reasonable price. Room was spacious and quiet. It had a safe, large TV, tea/coffee, refrigerator, walk in shower (no climbing over a bath) Minimal contact with staff but where we did interact they were pleasant, polite and helpful.

Lovely overnight stay at Queens for a concert in the city. Location is ideal (attached to the train station). Excellent, friendly staff. Did online check in before arrival which made it quick and simple to collect key card from the reception. The room was spacious and clean with everything you’d need. Limited noise from outside even though the hotel is slap bang in the city centre. Would stay again.

This was mine & my daughter’s second visit to the hotel, the first time was excellent on all counts.  This time sadly the breakfast wasn’t very good, the sausages, eggs & hash browns were luke warm & tasted like they had been sat there for quite a while, so we ended up leaving that food.  Also, sadly, the two coffee machines were out of order so we just had to have instant coffee. Our room was lovely & spacious though & the reception staff were nice & friendly.  The hotel is in a good location for walking into the city centre.

Great location,very quiet peaceful area beautiful room and very clean I lived it . But my stay would have been better if everything had gone smoothly I Just had a problem with the hotel asking for a deposit and not accepting cash for it , I do understand policies are different but after a 12hour flight plus 3 hour train ride all I needed was to get my room and rest but I had to sit for over 20 plus minutes trying to figure out what to do with my situation.I suggest they should be more accommodating and attentive to different situations and customers circumstances rather than just saying we don’t accept this and not willing to find a solution to help. Later on after about 30 minutes or so a very nice friendly manager came to my rescue and found a solution .which could have been done in the first place than having a customer wait for long because someone else is not willing to budge and understand a situation and find a solution.

The hotel itself was excellent and well appointed for our purposes. I would definitely book to stay again. Particularly convenient for Temple Newsam park where we were attending Slam Dunk festival, and for M1 access. The only issue was checking in, where the hotel only had one room listed under the booking reference although all my paperwork confirmed I had booked and paid for two. On a full weekend, it was disconcerting. After a lot of head scratching, they noted there was another room booking made 1 minute after the one they could find, that didn't have a name attached. Not sure if this was an issue with trip.com or Ramada systems, but it did cause inconvenience and stress to both us and the staff trying to check us in. Perhaps this issue could be looked at please?

Hey guys! I’m writing a review to inform everyone before they booked this place! Leonardo hotel is really good considering its close to the city and the room is quite clean. However please do come prepared to bring your own amenities. I’m talking about your own toothbrush, toothpaste, body lotion, etc. The hotel won’t provide you with any of that, they have it in the hotel but they cost roughly £3 pounds each! If you forgot your essentials i suggest you go check out boots or superdrugs to buy some stuff! The breakfast is okay though. £14 per person.

Ho avuto un ottimo soggiorno in questo hotel e sarei felice di valutarlo 4.5 di 5. Da quando sono arrivato, il personale era benvenuto, professionale, e sempre pronto a aiutare con qualsiasi richiesta. La camera era pulita, comoda e ben mantenuta, con tutte le attrezzature essenziali fornite. Il letto era particolarmente comodo, assicurando un grande sonno notturno. Inoltre apprezzavo l’atmosfera tranquilla, che rendeva facile rilassarsi. La posizione è molto conveniente, con facile accesso alle attrazioni, negozi e collegamenti di trasporto vicini. La colazione è stata piacevole con una vasta gamma di opzioni, anche se c'è ancora un po' di spazio per migliorare la selezione. L’unico minore inconveniente era che alcune strutture si sentono leggermente date, ma ciò non ha avuto un impatto significativo sulla mia esperienza complessiva. In generale, ho avuto un soggiorno molto piacevole e mi consiglierei di questo hotel agli altri. Con qualche piccolo miglioramento, potrebbe facilmente essere una perfetta 5-star esperienza.

Good staff and food; however, the hotel is now looking quite shabby in places - worn carpet and stained bathroom fittings. Note, soft beds and no USB Ports.

Good front office team and very helpful throughout my stay. I accidentally left my suit behind, and I hope they will kindly arrange to send it back, as I have already organised the postage. Overall, a really good team. A special mention to the chef in the kitchen, who clearly enjoys looking after guests and making sure everyone is well fed. Great service and a lovely team.
