UUtente ospiteThe hotel allowed check-in time very late at night (I checked in at about 11:30 pm) and the concierge still functioned well at such a late hour. The bed was really big for a single person. The hotel emphasized that a visitor will be enjoying French life-style in its stay there though there is neither a French word nor French TV program to be found inside the hotel room. I was expunged from the swimming pool on the 4/F solely because I forgot to bring my swimming cap (I had my swimming suit on), and had to cut short my swimming time after my failure to borrow a cap from the staff there. Moreover, the pool water was too cold. The breakfast buffet was good and contained a variety of foodstuffs and drinks of Chinese preferences and origins. However, there was a lack of exotic foodstuffs, e.g. Japanese style, Vietnamese style, European style, etc.
The flash-type French dance, about 15 min. in duration, in the hotel foyer at 6:00 p.m. was extraordinary, attractive and delighting.

QQueenNatWooAbbiamo avuto un bel tempo al Holiday Inn Baoding. Siamo arrivati tardi la sera. Sai che è un grande viaggio quando si ha così tanto divertimento che si dimentica di prendere foto. Checkin era un processo semplice, c'era un negozio dove si può ottenere regali, Lana è, bevande. I bagni e così via. Abbiamo ricevuto una lavatrice gratuita che uscivamo quando ci siamo reclutati. È situato sulla proprietà. Le fonti calde si trovano in un altro edificio che era una passeggiata veloce. Questo posto è adulto e bambino amico. Anche se siete in mezzo a nessuna parte della città, è solo una guida veloce. Abbiamo fatto un piccolo shopping al negozio di scarpe. La stanza era confortevole e spaziosa. E' fantastico per le famiglie, il nostro figlio di 13 anni l'amava.

MM333747****我和老公臨時決定出遊計劃，在攜程看了看酒店，就看到了星空攬月的訊息，評價還是不錯的，於是就報着試試的態度預訂了，到了後前台小姐姐説我訂的雅緻大床房還沒有打掃出來，於是給免費升了房型（精緻大床房），進到房間後空間很大，裝飾簡約大方，床和床頭桌均是皮質的（應該是皮U的），衞生很到位（本人因為職業關係對衞生要求還是很高的），晚飯也是提前和前台訂的，味道很不錯，還提前和我們溝通了口味問題（説他們當地人口味比較重，可以給我們減鹽😁），價格也比較合理，還有入住當天還給送了首住歡迎禮，再次強調一下他家的衞生是真不錯，頂樓的無邊泳池太乾淨了，頂樓環境很美，今天開車走時還看到有工作人員在篝火場地噴葯打掃，我所見到的工作人員都很熱情，特別是餐廳的工作人員服務非常周到，晚上也很安靜，我覺的可能是費用的原因，可以遠離一些素質差的人，唯一覺的不太理想的地方就是洗澡水，冷熱調節差了些，昨天晚上9點多熱水就好像沒有了，調半天也沒調出來，但是洗手枱是有熱水的，就是這點再改進一下就完美了，總之，是一次開心的旅行，五星好評，再補充一句，離易水湖的金龜碼頭步行衹需不到5分鐘。

UUtente ospite辦理入住時，前台一位化粧很漂亮的小姑娘告訴我們衹剩最後一間房，但安排的是一進門的房間，一進去就聞到很重的異味，實在無法忍受。後來請求換房，前台小姐姐和一位大叔聊得正開心，安排另一位女生帶我看房，沒有味道就是蚊子比較多且特別大。
換後的房間隔音效果極差，走廊和隔壁的聲音聽得一清二楚，非常影響休息。第二天早餐更讓人失望，孩子吃餛飩時竟然吃出一根很長的魚刺，向工作人員反映後，對方僅輕描淡寫地説是“蝦皮裡帶的”，沒有一句道歉，處理態度令人難以接受。整體來説，早餐種類和品質甚至不如常見的全季酒店。
這次入住無論是服務態度、房間環境還是餐飲安全，都有待提升。

GGLENYSThe Modern Crystal Hotel in Baoding is only a 2 minute walk to & from Baoding Railway Station and there are lots of small shops and places to eat, as well as a shopping mall nearby which includes an Apple store!
The hotel is quite old and some parts of the rooms I saw were badly in need of refurbishing, but the customer service is excellent. Every staff member I dealt with during my 3 night stay was wonderful …. the Reception staff, and the lovely ladies who clean the rooms and work in the dining room were all consistently and naturally extremely helpful and friendly to me ☺️
The Reception staff ask if you use WeChat, which is great, because you can message them if you need to ask anything and they respond immediately. One of the young guys on Reception went out of his way to help me when the sole of my shoe came away from my shoe, by trying to find a shoe repair shop (there wasn’t one) and then finding & ordering shoe repair glue on Amazon China for me and delivering it to me in my room an hour later! That kind of service is really heartwarming to a foreign traveller 💜
There is a hotel laundry available for guests to use, which was great! BYO laundry detergent.
The only real issue - and it’s a major issue - was that smoking is allowed (and encouraged) in the hotel, which, as an Australian, I find shocking and quite unacceptable in this day & age of global “no smoking” health laws.
The first room I was allocated smelt so badly of cigarette smoke, I couldn’t stay in it and requested a clean smelling room. The Reception staff complied immediately, and the 2nd room was much better, although it also had a very faint cigarette smell which was not ideal because it spoils the enjoyment of the room, and a No Smoking room should not smell of cigarette smoke at all, but I assume that every room was probably the same. Even the lifts & foyers on each floor smelt badly of cigarette smoke, and it wasn’t nice to see ashtrays everywhere.
I have found the same problem in other hotels in China on this visit, more than ever before, and it’s really not pleasant for those of us who hate the smell of cigarette smoke and also get headaches from the horrible smell. It’s a shame, because no matter how excellent the customer service is, the cigarette smoking would prevent me from booking there again, or recommending it to anyone. Pity 😟
