Canberra: hotel con bar

Non ero sicuro di come sarebbe andata la mia permanenza, ma era eccellente. Non si ottiene chiavi o carte si scarica invece un'app chiamata Goki che si utilizza solo un email per accedere e ha tutte le porte che ne ha bisogno. L'edificio è molto sicuro, per entrare più tardi alla notte si deve avere l'app per sbloccare. La stanza si scioglieva molto bene e c’era una finestra grande che lasciava molto luce. Abbiamo entrato ciascuno un serbatoio con i piatti, e c’era un ufficio con due sedie. I letti erano duri e non stavamo creando. Il letto aveva un bastone e una bella chilitta, insieme a tutte le foglie che avresti bisogno, le camere erano molto pulite e molto buone. Le aree comuni erano tese e la lavanderia era facile da accedere e da usare, poiché il pagamento per le macchine era anche sul telefono. L'alloggio era vicino al centro di Canberra con molti ristoranti e negozi, oltre a un cammino di cinque minuti dalla galleria d'arte. Mi sono apprezzato molto il mio soggiorno e sarei sicuramente più a lungo la prossima volta!

Overall the hotel is very good. Reception was friendly. Location is very good as there are many restaurants nearby. There is no water provided and you have to request for toothbrush, toothpaste and combs. Breakfast is overall ok. The pool is not heated.

Excellent location in city center and very close to ANU, where I am going to visit. Also, just next door to the Bus Station, where I am going to travel. Price/performance is excellent. Environment and cleaning is also excellent. Strongly recommend.

Era ok. Siamo stati trasferiti in una deluxe che a quanto pare era un po' più grande. La camera era molto piccola, il che renderebbe una camera standard minuscola in cui non vorreste rimanere più di una notte. Non c'era un aspiratore in bagno, e la finestra non si apriva nessun asciugacapelli nella stanza che ho scoperto più tardi lì condiviso??? Fortunatamente ho portato il mio. Non c'era una bottiglia d'acqua in omaggio, né libri con informazioni su Canberra, se questa fosse stata la mia prima visita a Canberra, sarei rimasto deluso. Nessun orario di check-out dato al momento del check-in, niente che spieghi la colazione se lo volevi. Molto caro per quello che ottieni rispetto ad altri hotel a Canberra?

Overpriced, inefficient and dissatisfying would be the three words I'd use to sum up my recent two-night stay at QT Canberra. While the room price was affordable enough, the food and drinks are incredibly expensive. At the bar, a glass of wine starts at a minimum of $16 for a standard size and goes up to $44 for a large (that's a glass, mind you - there's probably some good bottles that could be had for the same price, and QT's 'large' glass of wine is more like a 'medium'). At the restaurant, they’re charging around $40 for pasta, $50-$70 for steaks, $42-$48 for other mains and $18-$22 for desserts, with the wines on the wine list even more expensive than the aforementioned figures at the bar. I guess they figure they have a captive audience in the hotel, so can charge any price they like? My first night there they couldn’t do room charges at the bar due to a ”technology outage” (apparently writing on a bit of paper who ordered what and their room number and then charging it after the fact was too difficult a concept to grasp) and they didn’t even bother asking if I wanted room charges on the second night, instead just having charges paid by card as if a normal bar. I did get a discount when I showed my membership, but they were never proactive in asking and I would've certainly been paying full price had I not been diligent in showing it to them. As part of my booking, I received a $40 food and beverage voucher to be used each day, yet both at the bar and at breakfast the staff seemed perplexed by the voucher. I was told to ask the front desk about it and had to get the respective manager in each section to take over both times - why are you offering vouchers to customers if your staff don't even know what they are or how to properly handle them? Continuing the voucher madness, there's a sign you can hang on your door which promises you ”a $10 food-and-beverage voucher each night you say 'no thanks' to housekeeping”. The fine print says that ”if you wish to participate, please hang this on your door before 1:00am”. Well, I did this, and expected to get another $20 worth of vouchers when checking out, but when I asked about this (once again, I'm the one who had to be proactive about asking - spot a theme here?), I was only given one voucher despite having the sign out for both nights I stayed there. I was told because “housekeeping hasn’t been today [the day I checked out] I only get one voucher” - what a nonsensical excuse. If I hang the sign on the door on Friday night and Saturday night and check out Sunday morning, how DOESN'T that entitle me to two vouchers? Oh well, it's probably a moot point anyway - the lone voucher I did receive had an expiry date of the same day (why would I want an extra $10 to spend on the same day I'm checking out? Logic would dictate it would make much more sense to be valid for a month at any QT location in Australia or something similar). There was a long wait for breakfast, involving queuing up for 5 minut

La scelta di questo hotel è anche vista dall'aggressione e considerata in modo globale.Dopo il soggiorno, è stato sorpreso dal design all'interno e all'esterno dell'hotel, molto felice. Le strutture e i servizi complessivi dell'hotel sono buoni. Il sorriso e la voce di una cameriera di colazione in un ristorante fanno sentire le persone molto sincere, entusiasta e confortevole; I pasti del bar sono essenzialmente vegetariani, ma il senso creativo è anche molto delizioso e non costoso (rispetto al ristorante esterno e al centro commerciale); tutto quello che c'è nel minibar nella stanza è gratuito, con vino, birra, cola, latte, noci, ovocite... piccoli cibi. Questo è un hotel generale; la stanza è molto tranquilla, non si sente male il suono (forse la stagione autunnale?), l'hotel è molto igienico, le forniture della stanza sono molto pulite, e ci sono anche scarpe, dentifricio e simili non sono necessarie, ma l'hotel è fornito gratuitamente in base alle esigenze degli ospiti e può essere richiesto alla reception. Non basta, è che la luce della stanza dell'ospite è troppo oscura (il senso di progettazione è perseguito da un'occhiata di luci), l'ospite deve guardare la luce!E'anche che non tutte le porte della stanza dell'ospite sono buone.

Friendly and welcoming staff, both on arrival and throughout the stay. Rooms are clean and well appointed, with comfortable furniture. The rooms are quiet and have all the necessary features for a relaxing stay. Great location and parking is convenient.

I love Ovolo hotels and am a happy customer. However, this property is not operating at the same standard as it’s other properties. I will not stay here again and I will not recommend it to friends. What’s good; the location, the friendly staff and the restaurant. The food is great. While the bar area has a good vibe it’s range of adult non-alcoholic beverages is very thin (and no, juice and soft drinks are not adult beverages). The gym is also good for a short work out. If the staff weren’t so lovely and helpful I would have rated the hotel as poor. What’s not great. - 2 lifts were not functioning at 100% and there were other small things that just were working as they should (fridge door, phone to bake a few) - Housekeeping is inadequate, although we paid almost $2,000 for 3 nights they only do a mini service every 3 days (and we had to request hand towels and bath mats on arrival). - Parking is $40 a day on top of the room rate. - Check in was complicated because we made the mistake of going to the car park first (don’t do this, pull up out the front and get lift access let’s first) The hotel is great at selling its features but it’s not great at explaining how it operates. The one thing it is terrible at is explaining that ANYONE who has any kind of HEIGHTS PHONIA must not stay here. The internal balconies are terrifying. The external balconies are no better. Do not stay here with young children, if you do keep the balcony doors locked the whole time.

Amenities and facilities are excellent! My friend and I enjoyed our stay. It's just that when we reconfirmed our booking by calling the hotel, the GY agent sounded sleepy or had no energy at all. The one who assisted us during check-in was also serious, but the other lady at the other check-in counter was entirely smiling.

La TV non aveva quasi nessun canale d'aria libero, o Netflix e nessun YouTube. TV intelligente non era programmata. Tutte le cime da tavola e le cime da banco erano grigie con marcatori di striscia. Il pavimento del bagno non era mai stato pulito prima che arrivassimo o durante il nostro soggiorno. La piccola zona di fitness non è mai stata pulita nei 4 giorni che l'abbiamo usato. Qualcuno ha lasciato una canna di Sprite e di gomma checcata sul banco appena entrate e era lì per 4 giorni. Le cose si fanno solo se si lamenta al desk front.
